Horrible experience!! Would never recommend especially if you have a oil change coupon. Scheduled a app. I scheduled appointment and told them i had... a coupon for 19.95 and they also had my type of vehicle. So the day I go to my appointment and they checked me in for the oil change of 19.95 and sit there and wait until they come back in and tell me oh you can’t use the coupon for your car so it will be $88 !!! Like really??? You couldn’t tell me at the time of scheduling the appointment and not to mention i have used a coupon before and it wasnt a problem. Wasted my time and not to mention i could of already went somewhere else!! Called to speak to a manager and very unprofessional and didnt care!! Please do not ho there and waste your time
Vehicle towed in due to broken serpentine belt. Broke down within a few miles of this dealership. We normally go elsewhere as we live 30 miles away. Noticed... I was due for an oil change so told them to add an oil change and specifically told them "just an oil change." They had a $29.99 special posted. Vehicle done a few days later and my wife picked it up. Was charged $69.99 for "The Works" level of an oil change. When I called and questioned it I got the proverbial run around with promises on multiple days that the manager would call me back. Still waiting for that call. Was 6 months ago.
My husband and I leased a new Ford Fusion from Metro Ford of Madison. We worked with Curt Isenberger and found him to be a thorough professional when answering... our questions about the car. We live in Sun Prairie and are looking forward to working with him again when we need another vehicle.
I bought one new car and traded it later on a used car from Metro. Some of these bad reviews confounding. They always gave me great service. Both cars... were excellent deals. Time it right with Ford promotions and you'll be surprised what they can do. Repairs in a busy shop need appointments. If a shop isn't busy, avoid it. I do wish they had a Saturday express oil change service though.
Asked to speak with the GM Tony Baker, regarding our issue, we waited over 40 minutes as we watched Tony sit in his office without anyone in their with... him or was he on a phone call, never got to speak with him!
Nicky was a great sales person and really helped me leasing my new Escape. Everything went real smooth and now I am one happy fellow. I will go to metro... Ford in the future and for sure use Nicky as my sales person!! Thanks for a great experience of shopping Metro Ford!
Had 2014 Ford Escape towed in on Thursday evening for exstreme battery problem. Called in ahead of the towing and after towed I Waited Two hours to find... out that they would fixed it on Friday 1-11-19. On Friday I was told they need to order the positive cable also along with battery so my car would not be done until Monday, 1-14-19. On Monday, 1-14-19 they said they ordered the wrong part and they would not repair it until Tuesday, 1-15-19. Because of the exstreme damage done to the battery I asked them to check out the voltage regulator and electrical issue with the car. The battery had two inches of battery acid all over the whole battery and a mechanic that I talked to over the weekend suggested to check out the electrical on my car since this mechanic said that it would just happen again if they didn’t replace all parts not working properly. I told Megan this and she said they would check it out. It is now Tuesday, 1-15-19 I’m still waiting for my car and waiting to find out about the electrical issue. Not happy with the management on my car or the technician working in my car. Dealerships should take extra precautionary measures with the makes of their cars to make sure all measures are taken care of for their customers! Don’t want this happening again any time soon!
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER -- AVOID THIS DEALER: In the past two years, I have purchased two vehicles from Metro Ford (within one month of each other). I thought... my lease was coming due in a few months and so I went in early to check out vehicle replacement options. At the dealership, the salesman indicated that my lease wasn't ending in a few months, it actually ended in less than two weeks! Hearing this, I immediately jumped into action to replace the car and in less than two days, had one car from Metro Ford and a competitor's option in the running. The competitor had the best deal, so I went with them. When I went to turn in the lease to Metro Ford, they said "your lease doesn't end at the end of this month, it ends in a year." Yup. Their associate told me incorrect information that it ended at the end of the month. I realize I am a bonehead for not realizing when my lease was actually up. However, I would not have been so driven to replace my lease had their associate not told me the lease was ending in two weeks. When presented the situation a few days later, the GM (who didn't have the character or professionalism to call me personally), said that they can only buy the vehicle for its trade-in value (which would have netted them a nice profit when they eventually sold it, btw) and would ultimately cost me 5-6 grand out of pocket. Or, the other gem they had was that I should just try to sell it myself to limit my losses if -- get this -- I didn't want to keep the lease until it ended. They also had the gall to say that it was unfortunate that I didn't buy their car, because then the lease confusion would have been discovered before I purchased the replacement. Yup. While I acknowledged my responsibility in not validating the lease's actual end date multiple times and remained civil throughout the interaction, their ultimate "offer" clearly proved to me Metro Ford does not stand behind the mistakes of their associates -- especially those that cause their customers to make bad decisions. Had they not sent me out with the understanding that I had less than two weeks to get a another car, I would never had acted with such urgency to replace it. I will NEVER shop at Metro Ford again. They don't own up to the mistakes of their team and only care about the money they can rake off of people. No customer obsession AT ALL! Stay away!
The service and quality of staff seems to have gone way down hill. People have no clue as of recently about car issues. The management seems to care... only about money.
Good luck getting an appointment say any thing about getting a call back. I have left 3 messages and tried the number MICHELLE leaves on her voice mail... and got Michells voice mail again left another message. I am here helping my Mother who is in assisted living in Sun Praire and I need to get her car serviced to sell. This is where she has taken it before. I guess I’ll try somewhere else.
