Cloninger must have his employees write all those 5 star reviews because nothing could be further from the truth. Catawba County did you know that this dealership hires illegal immigrants to work for them in place of actual American citizens. That includes the mechanics that have access to your vehicles and everything inside of your vehicles. Think about that the next time you hand over your keys to the service representative. There is a reason you don't actually see the mechanics.

Cloninger service department is extremely slow. Should not take two hours to service my truck.

The Cloninger Service team is through and I am very happy with their attention to detail!! Time and Costs are always communicated to me before and after a service.

After trading my car for one at Cloninger, the car was not detailed hardly at all, the Finance manager told us he was adding on different things because I was a veteran or because he valued us as a customer, never revealing that these things were being added to the cost of the car, the paint was chipped to the metal on the drivers door and no attempt to touch it up was done, insect casings and spider nests were inside the doors, the floor mats were dirty. We asked that the extras be removed that the Finance manager had added to the price. He states he took them off but did not give us corrected paperwork that reflected the price once they were removed. A friend then made an appt to test drive and see the car with someone at Cloninger Ford and after they promised they would hold the car, she drove 2.5 hours to see it and was told even though she received a text reminder this morning of her appointment, that the car had been sold to someone else. What incompetence!!! I would never recommend anyone go there!

I highly recommend Cloninger Ford to anyone looking for a vehicle. My salesman, Chris was amazing. Customer service is outstanding and everyone there is very knowledgeable and willing to go that extra mile! It is not your typical car bui g experience, it was smooth and didn't take hours to make something happen!
