We started our car buying online and ended with Sales Consultant, Lamar Blakney. He showed us a vehicle (that we didn't see online) that fit in our price... range and the model we wanted. He was available by phone, email and text - now that's being available! We had to come in over a few nights for test drives, etc because of a work schedule - he was always understanding and worked within that schedule. We finally sealed the deal tonight and took delivery of the vehicle. The finance dept worked quickly (after all Lamar told them about our work and tight schedule:)) Now here's the kicker - Lamar doesn't get the "sale". As I stated in the beginning we ended with Lamar. The original sales person on night one had to be off unexpectantly and Lamar finished working with us so we could remain satisfied customer's of Russel Volkswagen. He made this a great car buying experience and working with Lamar or better known as the "Brown Bob Barker" has been outstanding!

Terrible experience with Heritage in Westminster but glad we gave the Catonsville location a try. Adu (Salesperson) was helpful and we felt all the staff... were eager to get the right car for us. Everyone at the dealership was very knowledgeable and helpful. I bought a used car and they made the process incredibly easy. Everything was explained... and made clear. Not only that, but the prices at this place are very fair. From the sales person to the finance manager they made it seem like we were a part of the family. The dealership is not the biggest, but what they lack in size they make up for with the best customer service. I???d recommend them to anyone and everyone.

David went out of his way to assist me after I had received my Passat from the Vehicle Processing Center in Elkridge where it was stored for a month after... being shipped from Germany where our family was stationed with the military. The battery was dead, the Check Engine light on and I had to drive to Pennsylvania and then home to Rhode Island. When I called for assistance, the person taking my call offered an appointment for the following week even after I explained my situation. She forwarded my call to David who immediately understood my predicament and told me to drive over after giving me assurances that the Check Engine light was safe to drive with. With a jump start I drove over to Heritage and was immediately welcomed by the Express Service staff and David who took my car and got it into a work bay. I think I was there a total of 2 hours. The battery required replacement and the engine error code was remedied. I got on the road and made it to both PA and RI without issue. I truly appreciate the assistance David and the rest of Heritage service team provided me. David could have easily told me he could not assist me but listening to my situation he didn???t hesitate to take steps to help. Thank you!
