On 5/15/2024 My Kia Optima was towed to Kia in Perry Georgia, I asked for a diagnostics because my car was burning so much oil and knocking very loud. I received a call on 5/15/2024 at 4pm that it would be 60-90 days before they can do a diagnostic on my vehicle.On 5/17/24 at 5:30 pm I received a phone call from one of kia’s representatives inquiring about purchasing my vehicle, And shortly after the the phone call. I then received a call from a sales person by the name of Jaylin. He requested doing an appraisal on my vehicle. So I started asking questions about the appraisal. Jaylin proceeded to ask me for $1000 down, And my credit score. I declined the offer.On 5/21/2024 At approximately 3:40 pm I received a phone call from the service manager by the name of Austin. I was informed that I needed a new engine, And I declined paying for a new engine.At 3:45 I received a voice mail from Austin stating that I needed to remove my vehicle from the property.. When I arrived on the property to retrieve my vehicle, I was then presented with documentations from Kia ,stating that I declined services for a tuneup, But I was never offered a tuneup. The documents did not state the correct reasons. I never declined service for a tuneup. So I refused to sign the documentation, Because it was not documented that I needed a new engine. that was mentioned on May 21 at 3:40 from the service manager Austin, So I refused to sign the paperwork, I paid $218 so I left my car and asked can I be giving a proper diagnostic on the engine.On 5/23/2023 at approximately 9:10 AM.I received a call from the service manager, Austin that I have 48 hours to come and retrieve my vehicle from the property, Or it will be towed. I then contact my store manager, I explained to him I had an emergency. I had to leave work early. when I arrived at Kia, I was told I cannot have my keys if I did not sign the documentation, which I did not agree upon. That was presented to me May 21, 2024.. So I called the police, Now it was said that I needed to to sign the credit card slip which I pay for the diagnostic. I then signed the slip. I was then told I still can’t have my keys, Because if I dispute the charges through the bank, they wouldn’t get paid, so Austin took it upon himself.. Saying that he was going to decline the credit card of all charges and I’ll have to pay with cash, I didn’t have any cash so he refused to give me my keys, so my property is still at Kia, which Austin refuse to release my property.. I made a statement that I was going to take my vehicle to Cook’s engine specialist..This is when it all started.. Kia refuse to release my property to me, so Kia will be responsible for all damages. If my car is towed, they will also be responsible for all tow charges. I never knew that this place could be so horrible when it comes to (SERVICE) I have been dealing with KIa since 2016. I just never understood how someone can take your property and it’s OK so then the officers tells me that this is a civil matter. How could you be so cruel to take someone’s property that you don’t even OWN.. not to mention this car was purchased brand new..At 3000 miles I had the same issue.. At 7,900 miles a new engine had to be placed in my vehicle..So this is just to show that the engine was only patched up, And I have a lifetime warranty on my engine which is stated in the Kia 2019 Optima manual.. This is why he refused to do a complete engine diagnostic, And he refuse to let me take my car to a engine specialist..

Greedy
Went in with a paid off vehicle that was not a cheap car but instantly was insulted by the sales managers low low low ball trade in price. Basically that says that even though I spent a lot of cash paying it off, dealer would decide that for them to buy it it was only worth X amount, a whopping $8,000 below the low trade in figure. So dealer would pocket all that money upon resale and I just lost a car and gained really high payments on the new one, umm no thank you. Secondly don’t charge me b/c business is slow, another $4,000 , try lowering prices back to a fair price and amazingly business will pick up. Sales staff were rock solid, unfortunately sales manager drives the train.

As simple as load testing 12 v battery ev6
I recently purchased the EV6 from J S for what ever the reason. Sell and service are not working as 1 entities , service department, well let's say rather...what service department, I'll do any future business with Hutchison in macon, Perry store haven't the knowledge nor competence, to service what they sell. In addition general management doesn't seem concerned, I would never recommend to anyone
