Sitting here now on a broken chair , the tv is broke they say . 5 chairs 10 people here no where to sit. It is cold in here . They need better customer... service.
Worked with a gentleman named Bill. Very nice from the start. Got in and out, checked everything on the car. This isn’t my 1st Kia from them. I’ve always... had a good experience.
Got a flat tire while they test drove the car. Wanted to charge me $30. Told them I would take it to Costco to fix for free. Bill service manager... did not want to take any responsibility. It was clearly done while they test drove it. Gave me back the car and didn't even bother to fill the tire with air until I got it fixed.
After two months of problems I was given a number to a manager to contact about resolving some issues but I was put on hold and after a few minutes was... told if the receptionist could take a message, I am done leaving messages. This has been over half of my experiences with their establishment the last two months. I don’t know who I need to talk to, neither do their employees, and once I get someone on the phone they have to “call me back” because they need to figure out what’s going on. I’m DONE WITH THIS. We bought a NEW car two months ago to take back home to NY, after being told we couldn’t transfer his mother’s 2017 Kia into our name without putting a substantial amount of money down. Which no one could actually find out until four hours after sitting in a room just waiting. Then we were pushed into the fact that walking out with a new car would be the best bet, responding with we will just make the purchase in NY they reassured us they could take care of everything. We wait another two hours for them to apologize for having us wait, send us home with the new car with their dealer tags without signing any paperwork. We wait two weeks for our paperwork we needed to sign and paper tags and being told it should take a month to receive hard plates. Now after two months with our paper tags with them expiring in a few days we learn about a week prior that the management staff has changed due to who knows, because no one knows anything, and I just felt helpless because after so long with just trying to figure out simple xxxx in the beginning, now I have to hope these people don’t mess this up even more. We were told that we now have to wait for more paper work to be sent and sign because they have lost the power of attorney, and then it will take a few more weeks after that to get our plates. Their only excuse given was “Their system was down.” Okay cool, where is the communication though? We’ve been in the dark, 6 hours away, only able to deal with your operator asking to take my number 20 times. We have been emailed a new paper tags that’s good for another two months but this doesn’t solve my anger at their lack of ability to function as a business. I want answers not excuses.
Len, the general manager, lied to my wife and me and created problems for us. 1) Len shared the reason my wife and I were going to have an APR close to... 5% in spite of our 820 credit rating was that a "PHEV" is not a plugin hybrid. When questions that PHEV means plug-in hybrid electric, Len shifted the answer to be that it was due to high demand even though the Kia web site listed 0.9% APR financing available for the plugin hybrid. 2) Our salesperson, Trent Thomas, told Len that we canceled our deposit Monday, 3/25/19 morning and Len then sat on the cancellation and refused to return any phone calls. We are now working with our credit card company to void the transaction. I strongly recommend doing any business with a dealer that handles business this way.
Heidi was super helpful in understanding my needs as well as my requirements when looking for a new car. There was no pressure to purchase a car or pressure... to look at other options. Everyone else was super friendly and welcoming as well. I would highly recommend purchasing a car here if you want to feel welcome and as if you're already part of the family.
Kyheem was great. Answered all my questions, promptly returned every call and responded to every message. The quality of service I got was awesome. If... you're I. The market for a car, call Kyheem, he gets it done. Everyone I had to deal with at Buchanan was great. Thanks again!
