This dealer has not given me my 2nd key fob.

This dealer has not given me my 2nd key fob. I bought a new car in July 2024 and I was told the 2nd key fob was not at the dealership location and that Toyota would send it out. More than 6 months later and nothing.

Greedy dealership.

Greedy dealership. Crazy markup on their TRD pros. Sad thing is there are probably suckers out there that will pay this outrageous price.

This has been the worst used car buying experience of my

This has been the worst used car buying experience of my life. I went in to purchase a 2021 “Certified” Toyota Prius Prime Plug in Hybrid on 5/18/2023. 5 days after my purchase, I began to experience issues with the gas mileage being far below the expected mpg. Expected: 54mpg, actual: 29mpg. The dash average was not correlating with actual gas consumption. I began to call the dealership with my concerns and my calls were not returned for several days and when I did speak to someone, they said they would call me back and never did. I had to drive in from 3.5 hours away on 5/29/2023 to speak to a manager in person after several days of no responses from management. The car was to be inspected. 4 days later on 6/1/2023 the car was finally “inspected” and I received a call from a Toyota of Selma service technician that the Prius Prime was getting 50mpg in the city/70mpg on the freeway. When I asked if the car had been inspected, I was told "a little bit". I asked how they inspected it and he said by "resetting everything (dash mileage etc) to zeros". I made the technician aware that I too had been seeing 56.6mpg average on the dash but actually only getting 29.16mpg and that was one of the reasons I had been calling and that I had also expressed this to the finance manager whom was assisting me with getting the vehicle over to the service department. When I asked if the lithium-ion battery had been charged and inspected, the service technician could not answer me. The next day I received a call from the Service Manager “Chris” but I was at work so I could not discuss the findings of the “inspection”. Today, I received a call from the Service Manager “Chris” again and he left a voicemail saying he wanted to discuss the findings of my 2021 Toyota CAMRY. I do not own or have purchased a Toyota Camry. I have emailed the General Manager Jeff Bergman because this is the worst customer service and incompetence I have ever witnessed in my life. There is also discrepancies in service record dates as well that I was not made aware until AFTER I signed a sales contract despite asking for a Car Fax report several times. I urge you to please avoid this place and take your business elsewhere. They do not care about their customers after a sale and are highly unprofessional.

Sneaky MSRP Market adjustment

Wanted to purchase my first new car. Though a small town company would take care of future car buyer. Car just arrived the day before & did not include Market Adjustment sticker next to manufacturer MSPR letter. Salesman showed us calculations not including it as well. Then blamed the high monthly payment on interest rate instead of the actual cost of the car. Sneaky & when the financial manger was called out on this he changed the subject & rushed to sign paper work. Buyer Beware!!! They lost a customer for life over 8k. Greedy & manipulated business tactics at work at Selma Toyota. Freeway Toyota in Hanford is upfront & more honest.

Review for Chris Mankin-Toyota Service Advisor

Dealing with professionals like Chris Mankin @ Toyota of Selma will definitely make me continue to be a customer. He took the time to listen and explain what was going on.

I'm Done With This Dealership

Dealership had us drive 40 miles to look at the exact vehicle we were looking for, which was unloaded from the truck only hours earlier. On arrival, learned they did not have the vehicle they were describing. What they had on hand was a more expensive model which was gas engine only and 2-wheel drive. The vehicle they described was a hybrid in all-wheel drive. They did have the exterior color right though. This is the second time this has happened with this dealership as the same thing happened 2 years ago when we were purchasing our Tundra pickup. But the real kicker this time was when they announced there was a $7000+ fee being charged "Above" MSRP because of the vehicle shortage. I'm done with this dealership. By the way, I was able to reserve the correct vehicle at Clovis Toyota same day and "No" fees were added to MSRP.
