I happened to request information online for a 2019 Equinox. The response I got from David Simon was, well, I encourage anyone looking to do just that.... The response was something you have to see! Based on that response, that you'll have to get on your own to see what I am talking about, I made an appointment. My feeling was, if they do this, what else do they do that is unique. David was more than helpful. I had no high pressure in the least. He answered all my questions, and once I made my selection, they were able to work out a plan within my budget that I was more than happy with. I get it all about salespersons, and how so many always feel they scam you. Some very much do. However, I got what I wanted with the terms that I wanted. Also, I have seven new car dealerships with a mile of where I live in Grand Rapids. I talked with them. I went to Rockford. Not sorry.

I had a very bad experience. Went in to work with sales to get a new to me/used vehicle. They never did anything they promised, including talking with... the manager. I asked that they email me car options, never got an email. They promised to call me on certain days, never happened. They made tons of promises, that were never kept. Worse experience ever. Prior to this, they were the dealership I went to get all my vehicles. Never again!

Excellent service and the service staff are top notch!
I have purchased eight vehicles from Ed Kohen in the last 9 years and expected to be able to trust their word and feel valued. They were quoted a pay off... for my trade from the bank and the a payment I had made cleared after so the salesman told me to expect that money back. I later found out they called my bank back after the payment cleared so I didn’t get that payment back. I asked several times if there were 2 sets of keys and was assured there should be but later found out there wasn’t so charged me for a second key. The cost was their rate of $30 or 40 which is not a lot but seems like that would be a no brainer to throw it in. Then I found out there were floor mats missing so I bought some of craigslist and had them in back to be cleaned before I put them down. The next day the dealership had to wash my car since it hadn’t been done when purchased and I mentioned about the mats to see if they would mind cleaning them and putting them in and the salesman said absolutely. When I picked up my car that was not done and I know it wasn’t required of them but it boils down to keeping their word and going above and beyond to make a repeat customer feel appreciated.

I took my vehicle in on Friday to have it detailed I dropped it off at 9 AM and was told to come back at 4:30 PM to pick it up. I arrived at 4:30 PM and... was told it was going to be about another hour I decided to take my rental car back for the night and come back Saturday morning to pick it up. I got a text message from the dealership Saturday morning asking me to come at 10:45 AM instead of 9 AM. I arrived the dealership at 10:45 AM and my vehicle was still not completed I sat at the dealership until 12 PM when I was finally told it was completed. I got in my car looked around there was still garbage underneath the seats, sticky areas all over that had not been touched and the list goes on. I was very dissatisfied and asked to speak to the Service manager he said he was unsure of how it got Overlooked he apologized but really didn’t sound too concerned he told me that I could take the rental car back and he would bring my car to my residence on Monday after the detail was complete. Monday came and went I never heard a single word from the dealership and I still didn’t have my car back I had to call them Tuesday morning and ask why I didn’t get my car back. I spokeTo the manager of the dealership she shirred me she would speak to the owner and get back to me yesterday again I never heard a word I did however get my vehicle back but nobody has contacted me to explain what happened I will never use this dealership again nor will I ever buy another vehicle from there. Unfortunately this is my second vehicle I have bought from Ed Kohen and I will never go back there again their customer service is terrible and their service department is the exact same I would never recommend them to anybody! to the manager of the dealership she shirred me she would speak to the owner and get back to me yesterday again I never heard a word I did however get my vehicle back but nobody has contacted me to explain what happened I will never use this dealership again nor will I ever buy another vehicle from there. The service department is what really brought me in to make this recent car buying experience. Since moving back home I shopped around for service for... my 2015 Silverado. The service department at Ed Koen went above and beyond more than once, so when I chose to go down to one vehicle for my family they where able to help me find the right vehicle for my needs. The over all experience was very positive though the time it took was a bit long for the process, but I can't say that is all there fault, it was a Saturday after all. Grate people there and highly recommend them.

They have a friendly and professional staff and clean waiting room and I would recommend their service to my friends and family.
We got right in and they finished our oil change quickly. Everybody was friendly and helpful. We were shown the waiting room and taken to our vehicle when... it was finished.
