Bob Tomas Ford practices aggressive price gauging

Salesmen at Bob Tomas add 10000.00 to sticker price, they practice price gauging and always play games. Will not give you a bottom line price. You will always loose dealing with these old school con artists. Be smart go to another dealer if looking for a Ford.

Totally Overcharged my 85 year old Father

My 85 year 9ld father was quoted over $2,000 to have his thermostat replaced in his 2005 Ford Taurus. When I told him that my Dad couldn't afford that price, he dropped $500 off the initial quote. My Dad 5ook his car to First Choice automotive and was charged $159. But wait, my Dad had to pay Bob Tomes $269 just for the diagnostic. My Dad was totally being taken advantage of. He'll never use this place of business again!

They sold the car I was going to buy when they know I was in the middle of the drive over there i called them before I left.I live 4 hours away I was was 3 hours into the drive and he called me back.they made me waste 6 hours of my life. xxxx you Dominic.

Pricing Games, don't waste your time

The price on their site and cars.com doesn't include their 'Value Add-Ons' It is just a trick to get you to their store and then try to rip you off. Don't waste your time working with this dealership.

Purchase experience was AWESOME

I found the car I wanted online and contacted the dealership, Bob Tomes Ford in McKinney. Within minutes I was contacted by Mike S. and over a 2 day period we had everything finalized and ready for pick up. I live 2.5 hours away from McKinney so the fact I could get there and have everything just waiting for signatures was amazing. The process lasted under an hour and we even got dinner on them! I will be back for future care needs. The entire team was excellent. The follow up both pre-purchase, during and post-purchase was outstanding.

Incredible car buying experience

Best vehicle buying experience we have ever had. We came in with a specific vehicle in mind, Tanner Nguyen (Salesman) was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He answered all of my wife and I’s questions and with Jerry Myers (Sales Manager) they got us max value for our trade in. We are very pleased with our Expedition MAX. We will be doing business with Tanner in the future and all sales people should strive to be as honest and helpful as Tanner. I also have to compliment the entire staff at the dealership as everyone went out of their way to be kind and courteous to our children as well. If the pandemic has you concerned, the online application process was incredibly easy and made pickup of our vehicle very quick. Best car buying experience ever!

First time to buy a new vehicle in a while. Lane was my sales person and he was so professional, kind and really knows the product. Will definitely buy from this dealership again.

DO NOT BUY OR SERVICE YOUR CAR HERE

Read every word of every page you sign because they will lie to you to your face to get you to pay for extra add ons. I was told the easycare maintenance package would provide free oil changes for the first two years. I try to get my second one and I’m told it expired even though I bought the car 6 months ago. I asked how that could be and he explained that it’s 2 years or 20,000 miles whichever comes first. I don’t know what they charged me for it but I wish I had declined it. I can’t wait to find out what other lies I’ll learn about when I need something fixed. Oh and they charge anywhere from $200 to $300 to change the oil and a few other things I don’t even need. I’ve posted bad reviews before about bad service and was always talked into deleting it. Not this time. This review is going on Google next and whatever else I can find.
