I had an excellent experience with Cruz at Gunther Mazda! He was professional, calm, efficient and transparent. His outstanding demeanor made the entire process easy and stress-free, and everything was completed in no time—unlike the all-day experience at many dealerships. The finance department was also very helpful and informative. I highly recommend Cruz for a smooth and exceptional car-buying experience! Sandra

I worked with Cruz Santamaria at Gunther Mazda on the purchase of a 2026 Mazda Miata Grand Touring with a manual transmission, obviously, because what kind of idiot buys a Miata in automatic? From my first conversation with Cruz, he was sincere, genuine, and refreshingly straightforward. We did not make a deal the first time we spoke. I told him I wanted to shop around, and he did something apparently revolutionary in the car business: he let me. No incessant phone calls. No “What can I do to get you into this car TODAY?” No pressure disguised as friendship. He respected the fact that I am an adult capable of making my own decisions. When I was ready, I came back to him. We talked numbers, I told him where I needed to be, and we reached a price that I thought was fair and that I was comfortable with. His response was basically: “Great. What else do you need from me? I will get the car ready. Come down and we will take care of the paperwork.” And here is the part that says a lot about Cruz: it was his day off. He was still willing to meet me whenever it worked for me and make sure everything was ready. Not because he was trying to force the sale across the finish line, but because that is simply how attentive and devoted he is to the people he works with. Buying a car is a big deal. If I go out to dinner and spend a couple hundred dollars, I expect to have a great time. When I am spending tens of thousands of dollars, the experience should be more than tolerable. It should actually be exciting. Buying a car like a Miata should be fun. Cruz understood that. He listened when I spoke, and he never tried to manufacture urgency or push me toward a decision. He is very relational. He genuinely wants you to have a good experience, not just while you are sitting at the dealership signing papers, but six months or a year later when you are still enjoying the car. That is what stood out to me. Cruz is not just interested in whether you buy a car from him today. He cares whether you are happy that you bought it tomorrow. He wants you to come back, whether it is for service, another car someday, or simply to stop in and say hello. It also helps that Cruz genuinely loves cars. He is knowledgeable, personable, a good listener, and, perhaps most importantly, he laughed at my jokes with an enthusiasm that I choose to believe was completely sincere. By the time I drove away, I did not feel like I had just completed a transaction with a salesman. I felt like I had bought a car from someone I trusted and genuinely enjoyed spending time with. I consider Cruz a friend now, and that probably says more about the experience than anything else I could write here. Cruz Santamaria is officially my second-favorite Cruz, behind Penélope Cruz. But if you are looking to buy a Mazda, he is unquestionably my #1 Cruz. Highly recommend.

A huge two thumbs up to Daniel at Gunther Mazda! He helped my wife and me secure an unbeatable lease on a new 2026 Mazda CX-50 Premium. We received quotes from three local Mazda dealerships for the same vehicle, and no one could come close to Gunther Mazda’s offer. Not even the dealership we had worked with for many years. From beginning to end, Daniel was transparent about every number, patiently answered all of our questions, and never pressured us to buy or lease. The entire process was smooth, efficient, and professional. The six complimentary oil changes included throughout our three year lease is an added bonus! Thank you, Daniel, for making this such a positive experience. My wife is thrilled with her new CX-50, and we will definitely return to Gunther Mazda when it is time for our next vehicle. Ten stars for Daniel and the entire Gunther Mazda team. Daniel is the man!

From a Miami Dealership Nightmare to a Dream Come True! Thank You, Bob Fanucci and Gunther Mazda! Trust our bitter experience: finding an honest car dealership in the Miami area is a nightmare of a quest. At previous places, we were literally bullied, hit with artificially inflated car prices, and aggressively pressured into buying services we didn't need. We were completely exhausted and had almost lost all hope. But what the team at Gunther Mazda (1800 South State Road 7, Fort Lauderdale) did for us completely restored our faith in people! It all started late in the evening when we filled out an online credit application. They called us back promptly, and when we arrived at the dealership the next day, there she was—our stunning blue Mazda 3 waiting for us right by the entrance. The car was sparkling clean, absolutely spotless, as if inviting us to take the wheel. We immediately went for a test drive and fell completely in love with it. But the true guardian angel of this deal was an incredible human being and the absolute best Internet Sales Manager—Bob Fanucci. After all the horror we went through at other dealerships, Bob just looked at us and calmly said, "Guys, it’s all good, we’re going to figure this out right now." And he didn't just promise it—he went ahead and did it! Bob secured the absolute lowest, most favorable interest rate for us, without a single ounce of pressure or hidden fees. We honestly never expected such a sincere, human, and highly professional approach. Just a couple of hours after arriving, we were already happily driving home in our brand-new blue Mazda 3. Gunther Mazda delivers the absolute best service, and we definitely have a benchmark to compare it to. If you want to experience the pure joy of buying a car without being ripped off—forget about other Miami dealerships. Go straight to Bob Fanucci. He is a man of his word who doesn't just sell cars, but brings people peace of mind and makes dreams come true! Bob, thank you for your massive heart! From now on, we are your customers for life!

Very disappointed. My wife had an appointment this morning at 8:00 a.m. to have her oil changed. Right now it's 10:00 a.m., 2 hours have passed, and she still doesn't know when they're going to change her oil. They tried to sell her a tire rotation, air filter replacement and some other items for about $250 and we declined. Not sure if this has anything to do with the punishing waste of time she is encountering 2 hours after she declined the extra service. When booking an appointment, I suggest you confirm that you will be serviced within a reasonable time as compared to your appointment time.

Gunther Mazda is a HORRIBLE Place. I have a Mazda CX-9 Signature Ed 2022. The dealer would NOT honor the brakes they put on my car that we Faulty, and in turn they ruined my rotors. After 3 months they were making noise and I brought it back and they stated "I MUST BE an aggressive driver" They kept it in the shop for over a week because they didn't want to cover the cost of replacement, the reason it took so long is they were waiting for Mazda to cover the Cost. They are a Contractor ,TO PROVIDE the service and they DO NOT make any MONEY from "Warranty Maintenance" so they don't want to honor it. I was SO upset, they provided me a loaner car that I was not familiar with, and I had an accident going to a funeral ! When I returned the car they didn't even ask if I was hurt, all they wanted was money. The manager Mike was so indifferent. Horrible experience. Then when you call Mazda customer service all they do is say oh here's a credit voucher to go back and get taken advantage of again....This was my experience with Gunther Mazda

Gunther Mazda redeemed this vehicle purchase experience for me and I’m so grateful for both Nelly and Oliver! First, I dealt with Nelly over the phone and I was so pleasantly surprised at how nice she was and even nicer in person. She gave me an out the door price with no hassle via email before she even knew how serious I was. She is the reason why I felt so comfortable coming in. Then once I came in, Oliver took over and was a smiling face throughout the experience! I immediately felt better being there than the other dealership I visited. He answered my questions and was very straightforward in the most pleasant way even when dealing with the numbers of the sale. I was celebrating a special occasion for myself with this purchase and he absolutely made it all the more significant and memorable for me and I don’t think I’ll forget it for a long time coming. I will be recommending Gunther Mazda, specifically Nelly R. and Oliver A. to friends, family, and anyone else in the market.
