Bought a very low miles 2020 Honda Ridgeline RTL-E the

Bought a very low miles 2020 Honda Ridgeline RTL-E the beginning of Aug 2022. The vehicle only came with 1 key fob. The salesman (Terrance Bolden) said he would get me a second key. I explained I wanted a “key fob” not just a key. Keys can be cut to operate the door. Keyfobs are more expensive and need to be programmed by the dealership. He said “no problem”. I made them write it on the IOU form that is signed by the dealership and the customer. In this case the finance manager signed it. Well, as of the first week of Oct 2022…not a peep from the dealership on the keyfob. I called the Honda dealership right next door to them and inquired about buying and programming a second keyfob. They said they can have it the very next day and get it programmed for me for around $150. Also, within a week of purchasing the vehicle it began throwing multiple mx codes and the security system and horn started to randomly activate at all hours during the day and night. Being under warranty still I took it to the Honda dealership (same one that ordered my second keyfob) and they diagnosed a bad main body control module (computer) and replaced it free of charge (would’ve been about $1000). I’m sure Bachman Subaru was aware of the issues but failed to disclose or tried to cover it up. Bachman Subaru….bad sales people and poor customer service!! Never again! (Caveat Emptor)

I am sorry you have had a bad experience with Terrance. He is a new salesperson that just started. That is not an excuse and he should have followed up with you about the extra key fob. I'm glad the local Honda store was able to find the issue that you were having and make the repair under the original manufactures warranty. You bought a really nice low mile vehicle! If you email me a copy of receipt for the key fob I will make sure that you get reimbursed for that amount. I had to take my car in for service because the display

I had to take my car in for service because the display was blanking out and the sunglasses holder fell off (My car is a 2022 model). Plus the rear defrost stopped working. Robin was combative from the get-go telling me if I expected not to pay for anything I was wrong (hello....my car is LESS THAN A YEAR OLD and the issues should be covered under warranty) because they don't work for free. It's now been two days, and I have heard nothing back from them, other than a message that they had to order the part for the sunglasses holder. This is my first Subaru and quite frankly, I wish I would have stayed with Honda. The service department is seriously lacking CUSTOMER SERVICE. If I ever am able to get my car back, I promise I will NEVER bring it back to this place nor purchase another vehicle from this place.

I had a very disappointing visit to the Service Dept.

I had a very disappointing visit to the Service Dept. this morning. We had an appointment at 11:00 this morning for service , scheduled several weeks ago . We were told they had no record of this appointment but did have us down for a detailing the following Monday. Both appointments were made at the same time.I understand that the service dept was very busy but we did have an appointment. This is not the customer service I expected from Bachmann. We cancelled the detailing appointment ( at least, I hope they understood me) and rescheduled our regular service for the same time. we'll see what happens.

Our family was in a pickle.

Our family was in a pickle. We broke down on the side of the freeway while towing our camper about 30 miles North of Bachman Subaru. We were towed there, but they were already closed. First thing in the morning my husband went to the service center and told them our plight. They looked at the car and were able to squeeze us in. It turned out that a totally different company unaffiliated with Subaru who had installed a transmission cooler on our vehicle hadn't screwed on a hose to the turbo very well. It eventually loosened all the way and popped off. They got the car fixed that day for a great price. Almost 100 miles away from the dealership we realize that my husband had left some luggage in the waiting area. We called them and offered to pay for shipping to our house, but they had a guy coming to do Subaru training about 20 minutes from our town so they just put our luggage in the trunk and we were able to get it that night! I love these guys and the next Subaru we buy might be at Bachman, not our town, even though it's 3.5 hours away, just because they are awesome!

I found them to be helpful and knowledgeable. Because of conditions not in Bachhman’s control I was Frequently contacted by Ken Sutton With updates for the four months I waited for the car. I would recommend Ken Do anyone looking for a new car especially a Subaru. It was a great experience buying a new car

Exceded Expectations

My experience exceeded my expectations. I had no problems and was able to work through time and distance restraints. I would recommend Bachman for potential car shoppers.

Tries to Take Advantage of People

EASILY the worst experience I've ever had attempting to buy a car. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I had a feeling it would be a mistake to try to do business with them, but I decided to give them another try against my better judgment. I ordered a new Crosstrek from the factory back in March with estimated delivery in June. My current lease with a different auto maker was up in July and was told I'd need to purchase it from them in order to be able to trade it in on the Crosstrek. That's fine, no big deal. Went in to the other dealer a couple weeks ago and got everything taken care of to have it switched from lease to own. The Crosstrek came in a month early, and I haven't received the title yet on my trade. Here's where the problems start: First of all, they tried to lowball me on my trade to the tune of almost $5,000, even after I had a TrueCash offer obtained from THEIR website. (If you're not going to honor those quotes, then maybe you shouldn't affiliate yourself with TrueCar. It's not my fault used car prices are so high right now. YOUR inability to make a fat profit off my trade is not MY problem or concern!) Next, I'd obtained pre-approval financing via my credit union in case the Subaru in-house financing came back with a higher rate. Sure enough, my credit union financing came back 1.2% lower than the in-house pricing. I was then told because I hadn't gotten the title yet, I was REQUIRED to go with the higher rate in-house financing. I was then told I would have to give them a decision THAT DAY (today) if I wanted to have the car held for me. At that point I was done and requested a refund of my initial deposit. I highly recommend staying FAR, FAR AWAY from this dealer unless you just like being hugely taken advantage of. They, nor any other Bachman dealership, will EVER get another chance to earn my business again!
