This dealership has some of the shadiest salesman out of all the dealerships I’ve been to in the last month. They are deceptive and their customer service is the worst. The salesman Devin knew that we were interested in a specific vehicle, knew we took the vehicle to a different bias shop to have a PPI completed at our expense, and knew that we were finishing our due diligence, and knew that we had completed the credit application, and knew we were in the process of putting a down payment on the vehicle, and yet he allowed the vehicle that was or should have been pending sale, to be sold while we were in the middle of the due diligence. He already had set up a time for us to close on his next day back from being off and we agreed to hold off until then so he could get the sale. The Subaru manager Jeff knew this as well. Then later they relisted the vehicle for $996 less than what they were selling it initially for even though they told us the vehicle sold. When we had asked if they could clean up the engine oil before we picked the car up, poor Jeff said no because he had a whopping $300 already in the vehicle and they allegedly don’t detail engines on used vehicles. I asked if they could at least just get some shop towels and clean up the engine oil they blamed on their “sloppy mechanics” who changed the oil but the shop towels were too costly for Jeff also. A bunch of deceitful and dishonest clowns.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I apologize for the frustration and misunderstanding surrounding the vehicle you were interested in. Our dealership policy requires a deposit in order to hold a vehicle, and it is my understanding that this option was offered during your conversations with our team. Since a deposit was not left, the vehicle remained available for purchase. Regarding the pricing concern, the sales manager was unaware that our Used Vehicle Manager had adjusted the vehicle's price that afternoon. Unfortunately, that change created confusion during your shopping process, and I understand how that added to your disappointment. We always strive to be transparent and provide our customers with accurate information. While we regret that your experience did not meet your expectations, we appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve our communication and processes moving forward. We wish you the best in your vehicle search and thank you for considering our dealership. Jeff Harmon, General Sales Manager @ Bachman Subaru.
⭐ 1 STAR — BUYER BEWARE This was easily one of the worst car-buying experiences I have ever had. I wasted nearly a week trying to purchase a Subaru Forester from this dealership, only to have them REFUSE TO SELL ME THE CAR after taking my deposit and running my credit. My first interaction was with a salesperson named Jim, whom I found extremely pushy and condescending. I told the dealership I was not comfortable working with him. Manager Jeff Williams then reached out, offered me a good deal, and assigned me to another salesperson, Walker. I test drove the Forester and put down a deposit on Tuesday. I was waiting for an insurance settlement to arrive, which came in Friday. Walker was out Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and specifically asked me to wait until Monday to complete the purchase. I agreed. On Monday, I communicated with Walker throughout the day trying to arrange a time to finalize the sale. I completed their online credit application and was approved for the promotional financing. I had already insured the Forester, had my down payment ready, and had made it very clear that I did not want GAP coverage, warranties, or other add-on products. I repeatedly explained that I wanted as much paperwork as possible prepared ahead of time so I could come in, sign, pay, and leave. I initially asked about coming in at 3:00. I was told they had other vehicle pickups and to come at 6:00 instead. Then, at approximately 4:30, Walker called and told me that if I came in that evening there would be AT LEAST a two-hour wait just to finalize my paperwork. At that point, I asked a very reasonable question: When can I make an appointment to purchase the car with minimal waiting? Their response was essentially that they don't make appointments for this. Instead of giving me a time when they could complete a transaction THEY HAD KNOWN ABOUT FOR DAYS, they refunded my deposit and told me they were no longer going to sell me the Forester. Seriously. I wasn't negotiating the price. I wasn't backing out. I wasn't asking them to hold the vehicle indefinitely. I was an approved buyer with a deposit on the vehicle, insurance already obtained, a down payment ready, and financing approved. I was literally asking them to give me an appointment to come PAY FOR THE CAR. Now, after wasting nearly a week, I have no Forester and I have a hard inquiry on my credit report from financing a vehicle this dealership ultimately refused to sell me. The entire experience was incredibly unprofessional. I found the sales staff rude and the way this transaction was handled completely unacceptable. If you're considering buying a vehicle here, BUYER BEWARE. Get absolutely everything in writing before allowing them to run your credit or taking a deposit. Based on my experience, I would never attempt to purchase a vehicle from this dealership again.

I apologize that your experience did not meet your expectations. After reviewing the situation, it appears there was a miscommunication regarding the timing of your delivery. Walker was attempting to accommodate your request to minimize your time at the dealership and proactively called when our schedule became busier than expected. His goal was to be transparent about potential delays, not to create frustration. I understand why you were disappointed after investing time in the process, and I sincerely apologize that we were unable to complete your purchase. Thank you for your feedback. Jeff Harmon, General Sales Manager @ Bachman Subaru.
Bachman Subaru is the best. Everyone is so helpful. Walker our sales associate takes time to explain everything in the process to buy a car and takes time to explain all the features of the car.

Express service is NOT express. On second visit, because couldn't get me in on first, resulted in a 6±hr wait after arriving at 8 am. Highly recommend establishing an appointment or going elsewhere for oil change or tire rotation. Express customers are pushed to back of line after people with appointments. That's fine/understandable but don't pretend to offer express service.

Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the extended wait you experienced during your visit. Our Express Service operates on a first-come, first-served basis, and while we strive to accommodate everyone promptly, customers with scheduled appointments do receive priority. Some days are significantly busier than others, and unfortunately, that can lead to longer wait times for walk-in services. We understand how frustrating that can be, and we don’t take it lightly. It’s a challenge we face as a facility known for providing exceptional service in the area—a reputation we’re proud of but also one that brings high demand. We appreciate your honesty and want you to know that your feedback is taken seriously. Our team is continually exploring ways to reduce wait times and enhance the overall customer experience. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts, and we hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future.
I was able to have several issues taken care of in one visit. Staff was very nice.

BEWARE! Don’t be deceived by Bachman Auto Group like I feel I was. Purchased many used cars in my life and know what an As Is sale is. However, when dealer just cleared all the maintenance lights/codes and changed the oil I have an issue with considering that vehicle as being sold as it really is. About 50 miles after purchase it lit up like a Christmas tree. Feels similar to a roll back the odometer situation. Contacted the CEO who passed it off and to date no remedy. Hopefully they’ll do the right thing.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with your recent purchase. We understand your frustration and regret that the vehicle did not meet your expectations. We want to clarify that vehicles from our Bachman Bargain Lot are sold with specific criteria and disclaimers. These vehicles are typically a minimum of 10 model years old or have 125,000 miles or more. As such, they are not inspected and may have mechanical defects, which is why they are priced accordingly. This information is clearly posted on all our Bargain Lot vehicles and is acknowledged multiple times by customers during the purchase process. We always encourage potential buyers to have these vehicles inspected at their own expense prior to purchase to ensure they are fully aware of the vehicle's condition. These vehicles are sold AS-IS with no dealer warranty. It appears that the vehicle you purchased was 29 years old and had over 450,000 miles on it. We apologize if our policies and procedures were not adequately communicated at the time of your purchase. We strive to be transparent with all our customers and regret any misunderstanding that may have occurred.
Interaction with salesperson was excellent and deal was easy but…. When it came to financing and closing the deal I felt like I was in a twilight zone. The communication amongst the finance people seemed to be nonexistent. Three different finance people were involved and I had to provide the same information multiple times. I made an appointment to close the deal with the second finance person I dealt with but it wasn’t honored. In fact that person wasn’t in the dealership the day of the appointment. A third finance person met us and seemed to have very little knowledge of our situation. Had to give him the same information that I had given earlier, he said it wasn’t in the system. After providing the information the finance office ran a credit check which showed up on my phone. It was almost an hour of waiting before we signed the papers without any explanation of the delay. Never once did the finance people asked about the trade-in, seems they were clueless. I removed my license plate and left the keys at the counter in the front lobby. Salesman- great Finance- serious communication issues

Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughtful feedback. We're truly grateful for your patience during your recent visit and for recognizing the efforts of your salesperson—it means a lot to our team. We sincerely apologize for the timing of your visit coinciding with the absence of the two employees you were working with, as well as the delays caused by a backed-up finance department due to other scheduled deliveries. We understand how this may have impacted your experience, and we appreciate your understanding. Your feedback is incredibly valuable to us. We're actively using it to improve our internal processes and communication so that we can provide a smoother, more seamless experience for all our customers moving forward. We hope to have the opportunity to serve you again in the future and earn your business once more. If we’re lucky enough to do so, we’re committed to making your next visit as efficient and enjoyable as possible.
