Grubbs stand behind their deals even with problems

I recently purchased a used 2007 FJ Cruiser from Grubbs and Chris Stiles. We did the deal completely over the phone. Chris was a professional and we struck a fair price. After delivery I noticed an issue that Chris had not seen. I brought it to his attention and even though the deal was done and delivery (they brought it to me) was made Chris and Grubbs made it right for me. I have bought well over 50 cars in my life and I know a class dealership when I see it...Grubbs and Chris are a class act.

My search for the past two months has been for a dependable pre-owned SUV, I had visited many vehicle site via the internet when I came across Grubbs Infiniti. I goggled pre-owned suv's and four popped up one which I had great interest in. It was a 2007 GMC Yukon Denali. I emailed the dealership and asked was the above vehicle available, and was the price negotiable. I immediately received a response from Mr. Schwartz with an email letter thanking me for showing interest in a vehicle at their dealership, signed by Mr. George Grubbs III. Shortly after that I received a call from Mr. Aaron Schwartz introducing himself to. He displayed a very pleasant professional attitude. He stated it is a very nice one owner vehicle and it was available and he love for me to see the vehicle. He offered to bring the vehicle to my location to see and test drive it, however I stated I would come to his location to see the vehicle. Prior to coming to Grubbs Dealership I went online and read everything available about the family business to include the video. I was impressed with the business from it's existence to present, that gave me a positive reassurance that buying a vehicle at Grubbs would be a good experience whether new or pre-owned. I arrived at the dealership on or about 07/11/2013 and met Mr. Schwartz, he was very pleasant not a pressure consultant. The vehicle detailed and cleaned very nicely.I test drove the Yukon and was very pleased with it's performance, a minor issue was rectified an Aaron kept me updated on the progress. When completed I responded and drove the vehicle again and was satisfied, and the rest is history. I purchased the vehicle, the entire process was very gracious. I appreciate dealing with Aaron, it was very professional and relaxing. I will Recommend Grubbs Infiniti and Aaron Schwartz every chance I get. It was a pleasure Ladies and Gents. Sincerely James A. Brooks Desoto Texas.

I have never felt the need to write these type of correspondence before, so the fact that I am actually taking time out of my day speaks volumes about Richard. My case is slightly different to most car buyers due to my visa status in the country, being an ex-pat and trying to finance a car with a nonexistent credit score and limited visa term, had proved impossible for the first 12 months on my stay in the US. I had been to all my favourite car suppliers & branches BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, Audi etc and been promptly refused a loan. Even though for the last 25 years I have purchased and driven innumerable types of cars offered by these manufacturers, work for a very large organisation and have a monthly salary that is reasonable. While buying a house my estate agent suggested that I contact Richard and Grubbs... a Japanese car, umm, that's a first and the thought of prostrating myself in-front of another sales guy... From the very first visit Richard told me he could get me in a car... I can write platitudes about being customer focused and always paying attention to details etc, all of which are true, but for me personally Richard is a man of his word, you can trust him to do business on a handshake. In my opinion the statement speaks for itself. What more can I say. As for the Infiniti, I'm not sure I'd drive anything else. Great fun to be in, very well equipped and easy to live with. I gave pricing a 4, my lease is expensive, but that's due in part to the financing from Nissan on account of my visa status. Next time will be a different. I don't want to leave on a down note, so well done done to Richard, Grubbs, (& his boss).

Pressure free!

It was the best car purchasing experience ever! Julie met me at my car as I drove up and we started laughing and joking. She is natural, never made me feel pressures, never pushed, was totally honest and i would highly recommend her.

I guess a dealer is only as good as the person who represents them. I'm in North Carolina, looking for a used FX37 and found a couple at Grubbs - so I email them, talk with Sam over the course of a week and narrow down one of the vehicles. He sends me pictures, there are scratches - but tells me they can easily buff out - outside of these scratches, the car is in great shape. I tell him I'm going to send someone over to inspect the car- we agree on a price for the car (as long as I close the deal by the end of the month, which is 3 days) - I say no problem. I tell him, before I send the guy over to inspect the car please make sure all the scratches are buffed out (or taken care of) - OK he says. He tells me via email the car has been cleaned up (on a Thursday) and sends me more pics. I tell him, "I'm confused by these pics, looks like the scratches are still there"- he says "they are cleaning up the car now, I'll get you more pics" - sends over more pics. So I arrange for the inspection (the coming Saturday AM) - and send him and email on Friday telling him they are coming over in the AM and tell him "make sure everything is in order and all fixes are done because he's going over this car like a surgeon" - he says "all done, I'm confident he has no issues." I get the report Saturday afternoon, scratches on the hood, left front bumper, left door, mirror, rear lift gate and best of all - the right door has scratches and the door jam is all messed up because, as he put it "clearly someone had to get into the car- I wouldn't be surprised if this was a repo". The fact that there are scratches throughout the car isn't my issue- my issue is Sam, and the fact that, despite me telling him how important it was for him to be honest with me, he couldn't do that - instead he played the "used car salesman" role to a T. So, because this guy couldn't be up front he (IMO) ruins the reputation of the dealership. Perhaps your experience will be different, but mine was very bad. BTW, the vehicle was a black FX37 with wheat interior - VIN # JN8CS1MU0DM140918
