Initially a good experience. The truck I wanted and a good price. Did not receive warrant information or "Loyalty" documentations. After 45 days, phone calls not returned, promises not kept... Something so easy to provide - instead an unhappy customer.

Awesome to deal with
I’ve bought many vehicles over the years from sulphur springs dodge. The crew over there has always treated me fair. They are more than willing to help and the best you can ask for on customer service. Thanks for all the help over the years guys!

We traveled across country to see our grandson who is in the military and became stranded in Sulpher Spring, Texas when our old 1999 Ford refused to run any longer. After many attempts to revive the Ford failed, we were introduced by a very nice man to a salesman at Sulpher Springs Dodge. We had high hopes as this salesman seemed honest and above board so we took the huge step on a fixed income and bought a used vehicle from them. The vehicle was a 2008 GMC and was sold as is without any warranty and we understood that from the beginning. We were told that they would help us out if there were any immediate problems. Later we discovered that the service they supposedly completed on the vehicle was not completed!! (this was the documentation that they said prevented them from lowering the sale price because they had put a lot of money into servicing the vehicle). It was not cleaned at all except rinsed with a water hose on outside, the hose and clamp they replaced was on halfway and leaked until we brought it back. no inside cleaning was done at all. still had greasy handprints and stains which my husband cleaned off. We had to bring the truck back after driving 8 hours for check engine light, overheating and making a weird noise. they ended up saying the turbo had to be replaced. We negotiated price and timeline. the timeline went 6 days late and we kept getting different stories..1st - the turbo had to be ordered to come in on Monday they would not let us get a OEM turbo on Friday but had to order the aftermarket turbo themselves in order for the manufacture warranty to apply. they would not install one that we bought separately. 2nd - when the truck was supposed to be ready, they called and said there were gaskets missing and they had to overnight the parts in. The next day at close of business we found out the parts were not overnighted but someone from the dealership went to pick them up and wouldnt get back in time to work on the truck that day. So another 2 days go by and we find it is not ready because of damage to wires and fuel line when they pulled the bode to put the turbo in. then it is supposed to be ready at noon and is not ready until they are walking out the shop for us to test drive. We had numerous extra expenses for lodging, rental vehicle and even had to buy 5 days of 7 medications for my health issues. Because our 11 day trip turned into 18 day trip and I only had 14 days of medication with me. So finally we pay a Service repair bill of $3100.00 in addition to another $1400.00 for living expenses during the week delay (not counting food.), we leave to drive back across country. we have to keep the rental all the way because the truck overheats, runs out of transmission fluid and has some weird noises again. PRAY it is not the turbo~! we have to stop frequently to baby the truck home. Yes we like the color, style and towing ability of the truck but PRETTY IS AS PRETTY DOES> Now we are looking at another $3000.00 repair because the truck also must have ball joints, shocks, engine particulate filter/work, etc etc etc. I'm just saying - DONT BUY a USED vehicle from these folks!!! I would not feel confident that they had serviced it properly OR that they would tell you the whole story behind the vehicle. We met some very nice people and people who did help us navigate these trials --PRaise the Lord for them. BUT the salesman NOR the service manager/communicator were among those and did not have our back or try to give us the bottom line. We felt that they were stringing us along and not prioritizing the service work in spite of the fact that we were 1300 miles from home and stranded. I really think the plan was to unload the truck with minimum effort!! as it is a very particular body style and would not be an easy one to sell. So we bought a $22,000 truck from these folks, paid $4000 cash down and $3100 cash for the repair as well as the extra living expense cost delays.

AMAZING!!!!
I cant say enough positive things about my experience with Paul and the team at Sulphur Springs Dodge. Having been in the automotive business for 20 years I have a real dislike for car dealers. From the very get go finding the truck I wanted on Cars.com, to the first phone call to the dealership, all the way through pulling off the lot the entire experience was refreshing. The truck was accurately described, in perfect working order, detailed well, and the no hassle purchase was smooth and delightful. I flew 2k miles to buy a truck unseen based on the pictures and description given online, the finance department went the extra mile to get me a better rate then I had in place already, I was given a fair price, and everything was in place with no surprises when I arrived to take delivery. I then drive the truck 2k miles home with a smile on my face and absolutely zero regret that I had bought from such an amazing dealership. Scott made a direct point of walking in and introducing himself and thanking me for my business as did Shawn, they treated us like family not just someone who came to buy a truck that they may never see again. Paul was straight forward, honest, and a pleasurer to work with. If you are local or coming from a distance rest assured you can be confident that your buying experience will be amazing.

They will scam you
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS CAR LOT! THEY WILL SCAM YOU! THEY SALE DAMAGED CARS! Would you believe the car I bought was another General manager that works for Jeep wife’s car! Disgusting! The worlds most unprofessional experience I have ever had. I purchased a Jeep Cherokee 2015 from this dealership and was promised the car would be delivered to me free of charge. I live 1hr 30 mins away, I was told two days later the car couldn’t be delivered. How did I find that out you may ask? I had to call and ask multiple times and was advise it would be $120 delivery fee. But wait theres more. I had to wait a week to get my car, within 1 and a half days of me getting the car the antenna had a major leak and drenched my interior roof and back car seat. They told me to bring the car in. I turned it in and at this point they took the car and advised they would fix it for free ( let’s pray to God they aren’t using my warranty) in which I appreciate that to the fullest. BUT, From that date I have not had my car for two full weeks. So now I have not had my car for 3 weeks and am having to pay for it... I want out. I called today and respectfully requested out of the contract because I returned the car within the 48 hour mark of me having the car and Jeff Shelton the general manager refused “sweet heart it doesn’t work like that” 1. Sweet heart - belittling, I don’t know you. 2. The ultimate discrimination because I am a woman and apparently we are easy to run all over. 3. I turned the car in within the two day mark and still have not received it. The car has not been in my possession. 4. Jeff Shelton is now refusing to abide by the 48 hour rule. 5. Your reputable company is willing to sell damaged cars. The branch gives Jeep a bad name and a even worse taste in my mouth. I am extremely unsatisfied with the whole ordeal, they are not compromising, reliable, trust worthy and pure snakes if you ask me. Please beware

Easiest deal I ever msde
I talk with them for about a week before we went up there. When we got there they had the car I was asking about pulled up and ready to go. We didn't like that car so Bonner helped us find another one. They had given me a quote of what my trade in was worth over the phone and they did really good at meeting my price. Their finance department found me a loan 2% lower than my credit union what can I say the are the greatest place to get a car, call Bonner he will do what you need to get in to a car.

Great Experience - Glad we did business with them
We traded in a 2005 Dodge Ram Pickup for a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan. We worked with Tammy Bain, and the Manager, Jeff Shelton. Both Tammy and Jeff, and all of the other staff we came into contact with, were courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. We received a fair trade value for our vehicle, and the asking price for the minivan was very reasonable. The paperwork process went smoothly. We have already driven our new minivan over 1000 miles for our ministry work, and we are very pleased with it so far. Given our experience with Sulphur Springs Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM so far, we can definitely recommend them.

Thank you so much for choosing us as your dealer for your purchase. It was really great to meet you all. We are very happy you had a good experience and thank you so much for taking the time to give us a great review..
Amazed
I live in Shreveport and the two hour drive to Sulpher Springs was worth every second of the amazing experience I had working with Bonner Lovern! I saw my now truck on auto trader and called the dealership and got all the details and got an amazing deal on an even more amazing truck. Most of my experience was over the phone and I was never left in the dark on anything that was going on. Arriving at the dealership to sign all the paper work was by far the best part pulling in and seeing my future truck front and center sitting pretty and clearly freshly detailed. I've never seen a truck shine so bright. Bonner Lovern was such a great guy to work with and someone I would recommend to any and every car buyer out there!! The best car buying experience I've ever had no doubt about it!

Great experience!
Our sales person, Tammy Bain, was very helpful in our shopping for a jeep. Process of buying didn't take all day like most dealerships. Would highly recommend!

Dealership
It's a dealership always listen and read when dealing with them, extra charges that they can't explain doesn't make any sense to your pocket, never again.
