Great service department and waiting room
Trish in the service department is why I keep coming back to Gerald Subaru of Naperville. Trish is knowledgeable and wonderful to deal with. I also love your waiting room. Great refreshments and it is comfortable.

The entire staff was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We worked with Leo Lopez and thought he was wonderful. The service department also went above and beyond to help take care of a oil change we needed while we purchased a new car.

I didn’t appreciate waiting 19 minutes to be asked inside when I had an 11:30 appointment. The receipt showed a check in of 11:41 but that was not accurate. I arrived to the computer at about 11:49am. I understood having to wait close to half hour the first time I visited not having an appointment, but having to wait that long with an appointment means my time isn’t valued. I also don’t understand how an oil change with a cabin filter replacement is $200.00 after a $20 coupon is applied. The previous Subaru dealership never had me wait and I was out in half the time. It was an additional hour and 15 minutes once helped. The previous Subaru had such impeccable customer service that they filmed the entire experience so I could trust what they were doing to my vehicle. I unfortunately can’t visit Schomp Subaru anymore as I moved, but I know and have experienced better, and Boy do I miss it. I am not impressed with this location.

Megan was awesome! She had several cars lined up for me to test drive when I got to the dealership. She was super patient when I was being indecisive and she went above and beyond to make sure I got to take the car I chose home that night.

I have purchased several cars from Gerald. I would say this was one of the shortest processes, only 3.5 hours instead of the previous 5-6 hours. But it probably helped that I had already driven the vehicle and was only deciding on which color was still available.
