Didn't want honor my coupon, finally honored it. Called 30 min later and my nuts were seized on a brake job. Gave me only the worst case scenario 1200, couldnt tell me what it was for. Just told me that it could cost that much which is a lie. You can replace the wheel stud and nut with out replacing the entire wheel hub set on a break job. Didn't ask me if there was any noise or rattling which would indicate bad hub. Obviously, stud and nut is only 70.00. Left the place and had another mechanic tell me this. Tried to tell them this the next day and they still could not say anything about replacing nut and bulk. 743.33 for a wheel hub and 299 for brakes. That is all they indicated. Got my new mechanic to fix for 500. I been a life long customer since my purchase with honda and even got free oil for life. Not sure if I even want to continue. tactics are boarder line deceiving and extremely unethical. In the middle of all this advisor claimed she didnt know my number and kept writing down the wrong number. I didnt even get a confirmation text like iv gotten every other time. Maybe new ownership because they use to be good. My advice, do your homework before hand, walk away if your gut says something ain't right, and try not to take it personally. I couldnt work at a dealership like that, im to honest. Hopefully they get honest with everyone else.

Roger and Khalil provided exceptional customer service — they were friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making sure we had the best experience possible. They were completely transparent about all the lease and financing options, answering every question clearly and honestly. No surprises, no pressure — just honest, straightforward guidance and a great deal on a fantastic car. My son absolutely loves his new Civic, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything went. Went in for an oil change and tire rotation.
Went in for an oil change and tire rotation. They overcharged me close to $30. When I asked for a refund they said they could only put a credit on my account. I said I wanted a refund and the sales manager said he would have a $30 check sent to me withing 3 weeks. It has now been 7 weeks and nothing. I have emailed him three times over the past 3 weeks and he has not responded. Needless to say, I am out $30 and they are out a customer.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience at Hackettstown Honda, especially thanks to Service Advisor Mike Hoffmann and Technician Tyler Zehnbauer. I came in unexpectedly, completely panicked, with twin toddlers in the back seat and nails stuck in my tire. Mike immediately saw the urgency of the situation and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. From the moment I walked in, he was calm, professional, and incredibly attentive—not just to my car, but to me and my kids, too. He reassured me they’d do everything possible to get us back on the road quickly, and he delivered on that promise. He kept me informed throughout the entire process, and Tyler worked efficiently and skillfully to get the repair done. It was clear that both of them truly cared—not just about the car, but about helping a mom in a stressful situation. Thanks to Mike and Tyler, what could’ve been a nightmare experience turned into a smooth fix. Their kindness, professionalism, and urgency meant the world to me. I’m so grateful!

After paying $ 207.91 for diagnostics and given a $ 9,981.54 estimate to replace the transmission, I rented a U-Trailer $ 166.47 and towed the car to my mechanic in South Jersey who repaired the car by replacing the Intermediate shaft speed sensor for a cost of $ 427.47. Car now runs great. Thanks for nothing Honda Of Hackettstown !
