Salesman was great but didn’t care for the man signing
Salesman was great but didn’t care for the man signing the papers with. He was in too big of a hurry, didn’t go over things he should have and spent too much time trying to sell me things I told him I didn’t want. When I say I don’t want it, I don’t want it. I almost walked out.

This was my second purchase.
This was my second purchase. I traded in the first vehicle I bought there. I would’ve gotten more had I sold it privately, but believe I got a decent price. I needed to buy a vehicle that day and they made that happen. I had some questions afterwards for sales (pre-owned), and have not received a response, but will follow up in person asap. I’m not a numbers person and it was after closing, but I’m still unclear as to some of the aspects of the financing. Will follow up there too. Service was great (thanks Brandon!) when a sensor failed before I left the lot that night. I got a great rental (thanks to you too Juan!) and had my “new to me” vehicle back a few days later since it was a holiday weekend. I’m pretty sure I’ll be purchasing from Leif Johnson again, hopefully at a more leisurely pace next time. 😉 I appreciate the respect that went both ways.

Pretty good other than signing a contract for 2.
Pretty good other than signing a contract for 2.9% interest and being contacted 4 days later being told that 2.9% wasn’t available in Texas…. What made the experience not so favorable was the fact the “sales Manager” and finance guy could not explain the arbitrary provisions. The sales manager had to explain what it actually meant. All the sales Manager could come up with was they would need the vehicle back if I didn’t sign the arbitrary provisions. I had to return to the dealership multiple time because the first contract was screwed up when I was given the 2.9% interest rate

Drew is the best car salesperson I have ever worked with!
Drew is the best car salesperson I have ever worked with! I never felt like he was trying to sell me anything but rather helping me find the right match for me. He was friendly and knowledgeable, patiently answered all of my questions, and gave me frequent updates throughout the entire process. He made me feel like his most important customer, which of course wasn’t the case, but very nice to feel that way! Thomas was also super helpful in getting me set up with a test drive appointment right away and tracking down specifically what I was looking for. The entire Leif Johnson team made the entire process so easy for me, and I had a great experience!

4/22/2025 To Whom It May Concern: MY EXPERIENCE PURCHASEING A VEHICLE WITH LEIF JOHNSON FORD HAS BEEN HORRIBLE!!!! On 3/24/2025 I met with Daryl Quintanilla look at a 2020 Chevy Colorado (vin# 1GCGTDEN5L1196436). After driving the 2020 Chevy Colorado I decided to purchase that vehicle and in turn trade in my 2012 Lincoln MKX (vin# 2LMDJ6JKXCBL11018) and a 2005 Chevy Colorado (1GCDS136458132978) and put down additional $5,075.00 cash. Mr. Quintanilla (salesman) was pleasant to deal with during this transaction. I then met with Jerry Bustamante (finance officer) and signed the paper work and he was also pleasant to deal with. I did not elect to purchase the extended warranty that was offered during this transaction, since it was my intention to purchase my own warranty separately and pay it in full each year since I did not want to have it combined with the vehicle interest payments. After Mr. Quintanilla had the vehicle washed and detailed, I left the dealership and approximately 30-35 miles down the road the transmission and/or torque converter started slipping and the whole truck was shaking. I had to slow down to approximately 45 mph just to keep the vehicle from shaking and jumping. Since the dealership was now closed at this time, I had no other option but to continue to my home, which was another 30 miles. The first thing the next morning (3/25/2025) I contacted Mr. Quintanilla and informed him what was going on. He agreed to come and pick-up the vehicle and take it be checked and repaired. When he picked up this vehicle, he also took the 2005 Chevy Colorado thus leaving me with no personal transportation. His comment was that Leif Johnson has rentals, but offered no other help. I have been fortunate enough to borrow a vehicle from my son-in-law for my daily transportation. As you can see it is now going into 5 weeks and I still do not have a vehicle, nor do I know if/or when the vehicle I purchased will be returned to me. Did Leif Johnson sell me a LEMON ? At this time I would like some answers. What are going to be my options if this is a recurring problem with this vehicle? 2. Also the first payment to Austin Telco Federal Credit Union is due 5/8/2025. Am I going to be stuck making payments on a vehicle I don’t even have possession of? We were misled and deceived with what we believe were
We were misled and deceived with what we believe were fraudulent photos of the interior of a vehicle, which we were led to believe we would be purchasing! There were multiple misrepresentations made by the dealership's representatives, including the failure to disclose, prior to purchase, that if we bought certain treatments, it would void their seven day return policy. Had we been notified by the finance manager when he was recommending we purchase the treatments, that they would void the return policy, we would not have purchased them. We were not provided the return policy disclosure for review and acknowledgement until after the treatments had been applied!
