Called Mark Kia regarding the Kia Telluride we saw on
Called Mark Kia regarding the Kia Telluride we saw on line. Spoke with Bryan Kelly and said it was no longer available but he recommended two other Telluride's that were available on site. He graciously offered to have the vehicle ready for inspection in front of the dealership to avoid a lengthy search in the heat. Just as we were about to leave, Bryan called to inform me that one Telluride was in the process of being sold and the other had a minor dent. However, he wanted to consult with his manager and verify the information. Half an hour later, he called back to confirm that the original Telluride was still available. We arrived twenty minutes later, and the staff greeted us outside, offering cold water upon entering. We met with Bryan, who was very pleasant and professional. He provided a detailed overview of the Telluride and accompanied us on a test drive. Upon returning, we discussed financing options, and Bryan, along with his manager and finance manager James, addressed all our concerns. We highly recommend Mark Kia for their exceptional professionalism and seamless experience. Request to work with Bryan, and he and his team will ensure a smooth experience from start to finish.

🚨 Survivor Alert: Avoid Mark Kia in Scottsdale, AZ
🚨 Survivor Alert: Avoid Mark Kia in Scottsdale, AZ 🚨 We’re sharing this on behalf of a well-known survivor and advocate in our community who bravely gave us permission to speak out about her recent experience with Mark Kia, a car dealership in Scottsdale, Arizona. This survivor has overcome unimaginable trauma—she’s one of the few who escaped a notorious abuser and has since dedicated her life to helping others. She’s now a licensed counselor, business owner, and student of forensic psychology. She recently bought her first home and was looking to purchase a car to support her growing responsibilities. She found a vehicle she loved and began the process with Mark Kia. Despite disclosing her participation in a confidentiality program for her safety, the dealership insisted she change her address with the DMV—putting her at risk. After signing paperwork, she was told the car would arrive the next day. Then… silence. No follow-up. No communication. During this time, she was attacked by associates of her former abuser, likely due to her address being exposed. She had to flee her home for safety. When she finally received a response from the dealership, she was met with disrespect and ignorance. A sales manager accused her of having a fake ID (which is 100% valid), dismissed her concerns, and made discriminatory remarks about her name and background. This, despite her having multiple credit union approvals. This isn’t just bad customer service—it’s dangerous, discriminatory, and unacceptable. Businesses like this are why we maintain directories of survivor-safe organizations and why we train and certify businesses on how to work respectfully with survivors. Mark Kia has now earned a permanent spot on our “Do Not Support” list. We urge charities and community partners to avoid accepting donations or partnerships from businesses that treat survivors this way. Please share this to protect others. Silence enables abuse—awareness empowers survivors.

We're glad to hear our team was helpful with your appointments and car selection. Thanks for choosing Mark Kia.
It was a very painful process.
It was a very painful process. I purposely used an auto broker to avoid all the games at the dealership. Unfortunately, we ended up dealing with all the nonsense. From credit department to delivery, it was all handled very poorly. After I finally got the car, I wrote to Sales Manager with a couple of questions, which were never answered. The car itself is a beauty, but lacks the basic rear-view mirror with garage door opener - which, for the cost of the car, should be there. Now I have to put in an after-market product. I love the SX-Prestige technology, except for the time reading all the manuals and watching videos to learn how to use it. My advice, buy the Sportage, just not from here.

Negotiated a price based on what a competitor could
Negotiated a price based on what a competitor could offer. I brought the invoice in and asked if they could beat it and they were hard pressed but eventually caved and beat the offer by $500. I think the best way is to hit one dealership against another and see what they ultimately can sell the car for. However, when I pick up my car all the stickers on the seatbelts front of the car mirrors have not been taken off. Also, they forgot to install the Lojack that was part of the dealership package. So I had to return the car to have that placed. And at that point they still didn’t take any of the stickers off that I asked them to so they don’t really Adhere to detail.
