My Truck Purchase

I purchased an 06 Dodge truck in Dec. I was informed that the truck had been inspected thoroughly by in house mechanics. Upon having the truck and returning to Montana, I immediately had to have my mechanic replace front 4 wheel drive hubs and other extensive front end work to the tune of $3,000.00, the air, both heat and a/c shuts off for periods of time, not good if one lives in Montana, evidently a sensor issue. Mechanics mentioned that any apprentice who would plug this into a computer to check would have noticed an issue, $1500.00. Also water pump issues, evidently from a previous wreck, oh yeah, I was told that the truck had NOT been wrecked. I own a business myself, might I suggest one of two problems here, ONE, that someone in authority, sit down with said mechanics and have a serious heart to heart, to resolve whatever issues that there are there or TWO, you have sales people that LIE. It would have to be one or the other. I have to purchase two more trucks this summer, I realize that my business will not make or break you folks, with that in mind, realize that i will NOT support your enterprise. Sincerely, Sean Thorne

Bad service bad cars

1: Do not believe thier extended warranty pitch it does not cover EVERYTHING as they told me nor can you go to any mechanic as they stated 2: Watch out for fender flares they are usually covering up a rust issue 3: Horrible and dishonest communication...I know nearly everyones name there because I've had to make so many phone calls trying to get all the issues with my truck fixed...its been in the shop multiple times now...I thought I was getting a truck reliable to get around but now its been even more difficult with dealing with rentals and rides to get my truck stuck in traffic each time wasting 2 hours of my life driving to get it. 4: Had to get whole exhaust system rebuilt as rust corroded it to the point it broke off, multiple electricle issues, oil dipstick cracked, power window switch failure, wiper gear box issue, ignition lock needed replaced, and now I have it in the shop again after recieving it back being told it was fixed 5: tire pressure light Was on when I test drove, was told air was low no problem....nope the tires have no sensors in them and of course its not covered under warranty its a $500 fix btw 6: Was originally told truck would be $16,000 after all the paper work was done ended up being 23,000 as price of just truck 7: At sale was told I could trade in anytime if I didnt end up liking the vehicle, tried trading in to same place after all the issues and a baby on the way i wanted nothing to do with the truck. Was told after weeks of trying to get into another vehicle that everyday my trade in value decreases and I was " at the bottom of the totem poll" to get my paperwork done since it was just a trade in...after my credit score going down through all this I gave up on trading in the truck because it was too much stress trying to get ahold of anyone 8: Beware they will walk you in circles to tell you anything to make you content in the moment but there is hardly any follow through 8: Do not rely on leaving a message with someone I had to call back multiples times after not getting phone calls back...theyd tell me 20 minutes and itd be 4 hours if I even did get a call back. 9: As much of a pain in the butt it is get the warranty if you purchase a vehicle from here or you will end up paying in the end but remember not to believe what they sale pitch you about the warranty, instead call AUL or read thier contract 1st DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND JUST DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! YOU WILL REGRET IF YOU DO

very pleased!

Let me first begin by saying that Sammy the finance manager there is a real class act. He treated us with nothing but respect the entire time we were there. I came in not knowing what I wanted and Sammy and his crew took their time with me and I honestly probably looked at 20 different vehicles. it was refreshing not to get pressured to buy and it was nice of them to take time to show every since vehicle. I was very happy with their service. what was even crazier was that my credit wasn't the best but they got me an exceptional rate and through a credit union too!! What made me even happier about the whole process is that they even followed up a couple days after to ask me how my car was and how I liked it which really surprised me cause I know most dealerships don't do that. I was very happy. To be honest I hate doing reviews but I really think carz planet deserves an A in not only the quality of their vehicles but their service as well. If the owner of their company is reading this I just want to let you know that your employees exceeded my expectations and I am beyond happy with my purchase and that I would recommend them to all my friends and family. Make sure if you go in there you either talk to Sammy or Will cause they will truly take their time and make it the best buying car experience ever. Thank you again and I love my new car!!!!!

Absolute garbage

Just to keep this short to save you time money and stress! DO NOT BUY ANY VEHICLE HERE. These are the con artists that we all hear about on used car lots. Shady salesman selling polished turds at top dollar. Plenty of other dealers to shop from this lot needs to be shut down for fraudulent scams to banks and customer's.

Worst Car Buying Experience Ever

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE GUYS. Not everyone has perfect credit and lots of people go through hard times. I am one of those people. I needed to find a dealership that would work with y unique circumstances. I had called in and spoke with Greg who assured me that they would be able to finance a car for me after I explained my situation. I believed him to be empathetic and understanding at the time. I drove over an hour out to the dealership and the day was fraught with red flags. First, let me say... they did get me approved for a car, but event that was messy how they handled it. Here's a quick synopsis of my experience.... 1. I had completed an online application and they didn't pull it even after I expressed that I completed one online. It felt like a brush off and disrespectful of my time. 2. I hated the first car I qualified for and James, the manager, went to bat for me and got me into a car that I liked and worked for what I needed. (this is why they get one star) James rocked. Greg tried to get me to be happy with the first car instead of recognizing it was not what I wanted. He had no gumption to provide good customer service. 3. Greg was a lame xxx excuse for a sales person. He could do absolutely nothing. Every time I asked a question, he acted dumb and had to go find a manager to answer my questions. He was ill informed and indifferent. I felt like he only cared about the deal closing for his own benefit. I would have preferred to work with James or the finance manager directly instead. 4. When I took possession of the car, I didn't realize that I had an empty tank of gas. I was disappointed as I have never bought a car that was on empty. I've bought both used and new cars and I have always received a full tank of gas before I drove off the lot. ALWAYS! Greg promised that when he received his next paycheck that he would be "willing to get me gas, Cause I appreciate your business" per his text message to me. 40 days later, I reached out since it's been more than a month since his promise. His response to my text asking if he was going to fulfill his promise was offensive. Here's his direct quote. "People are so funny these day, The New Meliniam Generation is Dam Lazy it's Pathetic. When I bought a car, No one gave me gas for my car. I feel bad for your Mother. I think it's time for you to get a real job and be responsible. Have a Nice Day... Thanks" #1 I am NOT a millenial #2 I have a job and get paid well #3 You do not bring anyone's mother into anything #4 This is an inappropriate response with or without the original promise in place. 5. My income situation at the time of purchase was unique and the week after the deal was closed I received a call from the Underwriter tell me that they needed income documentation. I was confused as I provided all of my income documentation at the time of purchase and was under the impression that my loan approval was based on what I provided. I found out that the dealership did not submit any of my income paperwork. What I find funny is that they left the funding of their loan in the hands of their customer, rather than making sure it was handled for all parties involved. 6. They set up car insurance for me. Fine. No big deal, you would think, but they did not provide any information to me about my policy at all. I thought it was in my paperwork when I drove off the lot. It was not. I had to call back in for proof of coverage. Once I called the Insurance Carrier, I learned they did not set up my policy correctly either. They never asked me for my limits that I wanted. They also put all of their dealership information in as the contact information. If I had not called and sought out the details, I would never have received my insurance details. 7. Follow up... There has been zero follow up from the dealership on the purchase of my vehicle. This has been the worst customer service experience to date and I have purchased at least a dozen vehicles in the past. I

Don't bother if you are not local!

Don't even bother trying to work with them if you are not local! It took me a week just to get a price! Then, while I was trying to work with them to get an independent dealer to check the car, they just sold it. I get that it is easier to work with a local buyer. But I wish they had communicated with me better what they needed and their timing.

very respectful dealership!!

Incredible experience with this dealership. I rarely ever do reviews for any company but I truly believe this company went out of their way to make my experience 10x better. I was interested in a vehicle that I found online and as soon as I inquired about it they provided answers to every single one of my questions and even took the time to do a walk around video on the vehicle and show any flaws if any on the vehicle. I spent probably about 3 hours on the phone with the sales guy and he patiently guided me through the whole process. even after I came to the dealership they treated me with the most respect I have ever seen. I rarely buy cars since I always keep my vehicle till the wheels fall off but I am telling you this, because of this dealership and the experience I received I will change my style of buying cars and buy a car more frequently. I recommend this dealership if you want to be treated with respect and not just like a normal customer but instead they treat you like you guys have been friends for a while or you could even say like family.
