I bought a vehicle from melloy Dodge in Albuquerque.

I bought a vehicle from melloy Dodge in Albuquerque. I signed all the paperwork and did everything I needed to. They called me back to sign a paper and I showed up the next day to sign that paper. My wife and I went out of town and all the sudden I was blown ur by their financing guy telling me I needed to send my social security card to them or I would have to return the truck in 24 hours. He said the “IRS “ is back logged for over 2 weeks. I told him I don’t not feel comfortable sending that type of info through any thing due to identity theft. He told me to send it to his email (which is encrypted) I sent it multiple times and “he did not receive it”. He proceeded to try and get me to send it over text. Blowing up my phone on my drive home. I got home early AM and I work nights so I had to sleep for work… he proceeded to continue blowing me up about it. I told him on my days off I will come and drop the truck off since it was a 24 hour deal to return it. I asked about my down payment and trade in and he decided not to respond about that at all. Just about how it’s not their fault and they need it. Then I asked him how everything was going the next day to see if I needed to indeed bring the truck in that next morning after work and he advised me they were closed On Sunday… so I couldn’t do anything and that he believes Friday that they “funded” the deal. I told him I will call the bank first thing Monday to verify this. Sure enough I called and talked with multiple representatives ( I called multiple times) and all representatives told me that it was not funded and they would stop the funding. He had me talk to a stellantis representative that represents Melloy Dodge and I told her as well. She ended up hanging up on me. I called again to a regular representative they told me again it will not get funded. We ended up taking the truck in like we promised and they denied the truck and told me they would have it towed on my expense. He told me it was funded so I called in his office and sure enough it was funded 40 mins before we got there…. All while knowing we were returning this truck and it should not be funded. On top of that they refuse to send me the verification of my SSN which I am entitled to. To me this means they pushed it through without verifying my identity…. That’s how identity theft happens…. And clearly that is fraud. Anyway I brought the truck home and I’m still fighting with them. Please help. I have texts, recorded conversations, witnesses, etc. thank you

Another bad review for this dealership.

Another bad review for this dealership. It gets a lot of them, and I see why. I am out of state, and was very interested in a used Nissan Titan they had. We did agree on a price quickly, but from there it was absolutely horrible trying to get any further. I told them what my SD vehicle excise tax was (as I was going to register it in SD). I bought 8 vehicles that I registered in SD over my past 17 years, so I know our excise tax amount. They insisted on gouging me for an additional 2.25 %, and used the excuse that I lived in a “certain town” in SD and it was 2.25 % more. Even after I verified with my local treasurer’s office on what I would owe to SD, they continued to use an extra $937 on what they would charge me for my excise tax on settlement. And they had $550 on my registration cost, and I informed them it would be just $150-$175. (They day before, I just paid for two SUVs and a car’s registration in SD and paid a total cost of $343 for the three registrations). $550 was just another gouging that they did not change, even after I told them what it would be. And lastly, upon me filling my credit info for them, they said they’d get me a rate of 6.44 %. But even after knowing the vehicle price, down payment, interest rate and term, they used 7.99 % on the rate to figure the payment amount. They had it down to the cent on my payment, and it was $21/month higher than the multiple auto loan calculators figured. They tried gouging me for an extra $1,260. Total dollars attempted to take me on was over $2,500…when we had all the knowns that should have easily closed a deal. Nope…they were insistent on trying to take a customer’s hard-earned money. Don’t do business with these guys. Save yourself from a horrible experience. I’d have given them zero stars if I could have.

Beat car buying experience I've had in years.

Beat car buying experience I've had in years. Elijah Montoya and Chris New were both exceptional. They made the sales process easy and most of all enjoyable. I would highly recommend both these guys, as well as the Melloy Dodge dealership.

Service assistant John Vigil is a bad representative for

Service assistant John Vigil is a bad representative for Melloy. He was extremely rude to me when I brought my truck back. I brought it back because they forgot to put all the lug nuts on my rear wheel during a warranty repair. xxxxxxx John Vigil tried to yell me down because I was mad that they had done such a slipshod job by not properly or safely installing the rear wheel of my Ram pickup. xxxxxxx John Vigil should be fired. Their service manager apologized but it wasn't enough to smooth over the fact that xxxxxxx John Vigil turned into a rude disrespectful jerk. I am sixty-six years old and have never been shown such extreme disrespect to my face than what xxxxxxx John Vigil pulled. He should be removed from any position that has contact with customers.
