Borman Autoplex

I am a loyal Cars.com shopper. I have purchased more than one vehicle through this avenue. I was looking for a certain vehicle and fond one listed at Boreman Autoplex of Las Cruces, NM. I went to their website and found the vehicle listed there. It even stated special financing available, $229.00/ Month zero down! I went to the dealership to look at it, right off the beginning I knew these guys were shady when I asked to look at the vehicle and he pretty much ignored my request and said come on in and have a seat. He went to a guy behind a counter and came back saying it had been sold A FEW DAYS ago!?!?! A FEW days!!! Said he wanted to show me other vehicles! I told him that was wrong of them to falsely advertise a vehicle just to get people in the door and sucker them into something they don't want! A FEW days??!! That vehicle was too good to be true and who knows how long it really was available for. All I know is as for myself and my friends and family, we will not do business with a dealer like BOREMAN!

Boss of salesman tried to force us into buying vehicle in color and option package we did NOT want. (More expensive of course.) Never offered to try to find what we wanted at another regional dealership, a customer service tactic we found out later they could do. Felt sorry for our salesman as he was in trouble with his boss because we would not buy that day. Later did my own looking online of regional inventory and found model and options we wanted in Artesia, and that dealership worked with us via email and phone to negotiate price. Then they met us at a location 2 hours from Artesia, making us drive only one hour from home to where we were doing our financing anyway.

What a great experience! Top notch, friendly salesman, and no games! They gave me a great price, and now I know where I will always go for my next car!

When they say one price the Borman AutoPlex really means it. We go their best price first. Saved us a lot tme! We've been getting our service work done at Borman for years. We are very happy to recomend them to our friends.

Changed owners, went to "one price". Service center told me an expensive oil leak to fix, about $1000. My trusted mechanic of 10 years told me there was none. "One price" is pretty subject to what they want to add on after you fill out papers for an hour or so. All in all, can get a good price there, but SLEEZY as in old time sleezy car salesmen.

Horrible place to but a car. Choose another dealer. The salesmen are not allowed to tell you what price the vehicles are, so you cant know what is in your budget. The price is based off your credit. If your credit score is not so hot the price increases by thousands. The process to buy the car takes sooooo long i was there for over 7 hours, trying to negotiate a price because I had researched the car that I wanted online and was aware of the price range. Finally we agreed upon a price. A week later I was told the financing did not go thru. I had to either return the car or agree to a higher price at a higher intererst rate and the payments had increased by a lot. I had already added the car to my insurance. They are crooks and liars. choose another dealership.

I had been shopping for a used car. I found one that I liked at Borman, the salesman was very courteous but was not allowed to tell me the prices on any of the cars. I could not tell which cars were within my budget. Everything was a negotiation and the price was based off of credit score. After being there for over 7 hours trying to negotiate a price. I left with a car. I was called back a week later stating the financing had not gone thru. The amount agreed upon was changed as well as the interest rate and payments. Everything was increased after we had signed the papers and completed the transaction, or so I thought. They told me I could either agree to the huge increase in interest, payments and amount or bring the car back. It is and was a nightmare. choose another dealership Borman are crooks and liars.

I went in to buy a car today and left an extremely satisfied customer. Not only did I not feel forced into a random car, but he took his time with me and never seemed rushed. He was straight forward about costs. I had gone to borman last weekend and felt attacked by every sales person there so it was a nice change.

A truly pleasant experience. I left with my new car feeling I got the best deal and trade-in. Borman will surely be my first choice for my next car.

I have read about some unfortunately bad experiences with Borman, and I just one to say I am THE one in four that apparently has a good experience. My sales rep was outstanding, he showed me a quality car at a good price, entertained my haggling attempt and ended up getting the price 12% below their asking and 38% below Blue Book. It's a great car and I can't get over it. Just so you know, they're not all bad.
