I received excellent service from Kaleb.

I received excellent service from Kaleb. He went out of his way to accommodate my warranty expiring. The only issue I had was the technician ordered the wrong part initially and had to reorder it but since Kaleb had gotten me a loaner, it wasn’t to harmful for us. And the manager Nate, did his best to accommodate us as well. Thank you.

Tread carefully when buying a used car from this

Tread carefully when buying a used car from this AutoNation location. They advertise a simple, transparent buying experience, but mine was anything but. I came in ready to purchase a used plug-in hybrid with my own financing, only to have the finance manager, Austin, aggressively push their high interest loan without clearly presenting my own financing option. It took multiple conversations with different managers before I was finally able to see the correct contract. Once the paperwork was done, the car wasn’t even ready for pickup. The A/C wasn’t blowing cold, and there was a noticeable squeaking sound when driving. My salesperson, Roger, said parts would be ordered, but he'd update me on its completion. It took two full weeks before I could finally pick up the car and asking for a rental in the meantime felt like a major inconvenience for them. Because I live an hour away, I requested reimbursement for the Lyft ride back to the dealership, something the sales manager, Arthur, said he’d “take care of.” Another two weeks and several follow ups later, I still haven’t received a thing. It has officially been more than 3 months and I'm still reaching out to get the reimbursement. On top of that, they only provided one license plate even though California requires two, then told me I’d have to handle getting the second one myself. To make matters worse, within three weeks of owning the car, new issues started showing up: the steering pulls while driving, there’s a squeaking near the front tires, and a clunking sound coming from the trunk area. In short, the experience has been frustrating from start to finish. I expected better from a certified AutoNation dealership. Be cautious and double check everything before signing. No “deal” is worth the hassle I’ve been through.

Brought my car in for a coolant leak, $800 repair and

Brought my car in for a coolant leak, $800 repair and they didn't have a loaner, so I had to get a rental, took them 4 weeks to fix it. A week later, it is leaking again, and they asked for additional $2,200 with $1,500 of that being 4 hours of labor to fix the leak, again. They have had my car for another 4 weeks, I still don't have it or they haven't mentioned when it will be ready. I purchased this CPO car in late January this year, I asked them if they would buy it since they have had it for 2 months out of the 8 months that I have owned it, and their sales manager offered me $22,000 less than what I paid for it 9 months ago with no accidents and 5k miles put on it! Overall, terrible experience.

Great experience buying a used vehicle from Land Rover

Great experience buying a used vehicle from Land Rover South Bay. A few difficulties with online communication in the beginning, but all questions were answered once I was able to talk to dealership staff. Price was exceptional for the vehicle purchased, being several thousand dollars cheaper than any dealer in Northern California. I ended up flying down and driving the car 400 trouble-free miles back home. Thanks to RD, Alex, and everyone else that helped make the deal happen.

We booked a service appointment for an oil and filter

We booked a service appointment for an oil and filter change, but the experience was extremely disappointing. No one greeted us upon arrival, the staff showed no courtesy, and the waiting area was dirty — tables unclean, the coffee machine constantly occupied by employees, and the coffee itself was terrible. The vehicle inspection was not performed properly — we were only told about “some oil leak” without any explanation or report. The manager scratched our car key while handling it, and they failed to set up the official Range Rover app. After this visit, we have no trust in this service center anymore.

I can't stress enough what an incredible experience I had

I can't stress enough what an incredible experience I had yesterday selling my LR4 to Land Rover South Bay. Matt Lennon was incredibly professional and accommodating from the minute I walked in the door to the time he handed me my check. I felt taken care of and in trustworthy hands from my initial email and conversation via phone with Puria, to the final details with Matt. I have had Land Rover vehicles (LR3, LR4 and now a Range Rover) and this experience has solidified my commitment to the brand and to Land Rover South Bay. This was one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had.

Sales is a very poor experience at this dealership and I could not recommend them if you value your time. Shawn (salesman) and Chet (manager) have no regard for people's time when I simply needed to know how to pay. I inquired on a vehicle at 10:54am and 2 hours later I was still waiting to see if I can buy the car. In the past, I have purchased multiple vehicles from out of state and even another from a Range Rover dealer. This dealer instead it seems is trying to use me as a negotiating tool to leverage other buyers instead of just selling me a car for my wife. They gave me multiple stipulations of why they couldn't sell me this vehicle, but yet none of these were actual issues and instead were stalling tactics.
