Poor Communication

This was the worst car service experience I've ever had, and I'm not young. I have previously been to Hendrick Volvo of Charleston and had the best service ever, but not this visit. First, scheduling is nearly impossible & if you schedule online (recommended when you call), it's a 3-5 day drop off with no loaner car. Nowhere is this specified on the website for scheduling. I actually had to reschedule my first appointment due to not knowing this info ahead of time. While my car was at Volvo I received a text & email with video from the service tech with an overview of the service he/she completed (very very nice to receive!) & stating that my advisor would reach out to me shortly. Although, the video expressed that my service was complete, minus recommendations that I denied having done via email, I never received a call from Volvo. I had to message & leave voicemails to only get a call back from the advisor saying he was not sure if my car was ready for pickup & he would call me back in a few hours. The next day, I had to call a main line and beg to speak with someone. Finally a manager/supervisor returned my call stating my car was ready. Seems the hold up for keeping your car for days is due to the service advisors, not the service techs (mechanics). I trust that the actual service on my car was completed properly based on the service tech's video I received. The employees at the desk is where I had issue.

Fast service

Fast, thorough and efficient. Jennifer Rogers made my day! Everything was under warranty and it was an easy fix and I was in and out in much less time than I thought.

Great job as usual.

Always excellent service from the service department. Jennifer Rogers quickly found my profile and entered my car in the service lineup. She send multiple text, keeping me informed of my car’s progress. As I was going out of town, she texted when my service was completed and had me text with my ETA so my car would be out front and waiting. Good hob

Great customer service!!!

My advisor Jonathan as always is professional and very easy to work with. My tech that worked on my car was thorough and took care of all of my service repair needs.

Top notch!

Excellent communication, great service. I loved how the service tech sent me a video detailing what was done. Jennifer was on top of everything, keeping me updated. The drivers were both very polite and friendly - the gentleman who picked my car up was super patient, waiting for me to finish what I was doing when I got tied up at work. My car was even vacuumed when I got it back! I can’t say enough good things about Volvo in general, but the service we receive makes it that much better. Very happy!

Great service for my 40,000 mile check up

Service, Mr. Odegaard was attentive and helped take care of an issue under the car's warranty, no stress at all! They need a new TV in the waiting room!

Good experience

Car broke down while traveling, and I was still a long ways from home. Jonathan was able to get me in and back on the road in a timely manner.

Excellent!!!

Normally I don’t write a review however I decided to make an exception for Hendrick Volvo Cars Charleston. Their Service Department personnel always so friendly especially Jonathan & Matt. Each time I visited there they were very patient and explaining the work very clearly. In addition the waiting longe is always clean.
