Buyer BEWARE!

This dealer presents the facade of selling quality autos that are inspected and safety certified. As per my experience, that is NOTHING short of a lie. My 2001 SAAB 9-5SE looked great and drove well, however when I started looking closer, it was a nightmare, a $2800 in repairs nightmare. And yes it came with a warranty, but why would I have them fix it after the shotty condition it was in??? The oil was below the minimum line, very dirty requiring a flush. It had the wrong drain plug on it. There is a leak in the washer fluid bottle. It was missing a lugnut. One of the turn signal lights was burned out. It had a leaking transmission line. There was oil in two of the spark plug wells. The air & cabin filters were very dirty! Now I'm not sure what was inspected, but all of that should have been caught. Don't sell me the line of being in the business 30 years either. Although the buying process was great, the end result was crap. I even paid in cash to save them the fees on a credit card transaction. If you buy anything from this dealer, BRING YOUR MECHANIC!!!!! I would never buy from or recommend this dealer to anyone, even people I don't like!

I received your letter saying you had a first class buying experience. I understand you had some issues with the vehicle, and I would like to have a chance to remedy these issues. But, you told me not to contact you. The reason that I have been in business for 30 years is because I do not walk away from my customers after the sale. Please give me a chance to help you. I am more than willing to help you with your pre-owned vehicle if given the chance.
