Worst experience, worst sales staff. Dragged on without response, then said can’t do the deal because we posted wrong price. No apology, no regard! The most unprofessional dealership I have ever dealt with. Please avoid this dealership.


Good service

Barely made into Oceanside from AZ with engine problems, spoke with Kal Chatham in Service and he did an excellent job of getting my truck in, diagnosed and informed of the problem. Fixed in one day, picked up the morning afterward and made the return to AZ with family aboard. Thanks Kal


Horrible Service - Buyer Beware

This has been the worst experience I have ever had with a dealership. We went into purchase a GT Mustang on Dec. 26th, 2019. We worked with Twee and advised her that we would be doing a trade in for a 2017 Honda Accord for which we owed less than it was worth. She advised us complete an online credit application. After everything checked out, she said we were approved and to come down to the dealership to do the trade in, that it would be no problem. We drove from Temecula to Carlsbad with our 3 children at around 6pm. Twee assured us we would be completing the paperwork to finalize the deal very shortly and that everything was ready prior to our arrival. Twee then handed us off to another salesman named Eddie. We sat and waited 2 hours for finance to call us back and they did not call us back until after I told them I needed to leave to feed my children since we were under the assumption that we would be in and out, we had not eaten. Once, the paperwork was completed by the very disorganized finance department (who had everyone's paperwork spread out and discussed sensitive financial information about other customers with salesman right in front of me). We were finally free to go. After about 7 business days, I called the finance department because I saw that the trade-in Honda had still not been paid. Since they were still under 10 business days for the payoff per our signed agreement, I asked for an expected date as to when it would be paid. I was told that it would surely be paid by Jan. 8th. I have called this dealership every single week for the last 4 weeks and IT HAS STILL NOT BEEN PAID!!! They took possession of my trade in 29 days ago as of today and have not paid it. I have not been able to get a hold of anyone at this point. Now, I have late fees accessed on my account (which have now had to pay) and another payment is about to come due. These people are about to be in for a lawsuit!!! Horrible service, unprofessional salesman who only care about a sale.


2007 GT500

I live in San Diego drove up to KG CUSTOMS to have some work done to my Shelby . These guys are great and very honest . I want to thank JC Barajas and Ruben Pina and the mechanic ,sorry I didn't get his name but thanks to all.


Best Experience I've had

I came in to look at a vehicle I'd seen online. I drove about an hour (I live in Temecula) and expected to be given a song and dance and a huge hassle. I'd communicated with Kevin online prior to coming down. When I arrived they'd had the vehicle sitting in front of the dealership waiting for me. Took it for a drive and loved it. Then expected to have to go back and forth etc. None of the typical haggling that I've come to expect. Had a couple issues with the car right after purchase - they took care of it without any problems. I've been so happy with my purchase that when my son comes home on leave he's told me he wants a new vehicle and I'm directing him to come down here.



Stopped in today to look at a certified used 2015 Edge Sport (6500 miles) I had been eyeing for a week or so. Was greeted in the lot and taken to the far back of the lot where the car was hidden (should have been my first clue). The car was buried behind others which the salesperson had to get moved in order to get this one out. I preceded to look the car over as the salesperson arranged the musical cars. The car was a 2015 but only had 6500 miles on it. By the way it looked, though, I'm pretty sure someone dialed back the miles on it. 3 of the 4 rims had been curbed and there were various scratches on the doors. The car was filthy by the way (inside and out) and this was all that was visible without being cleaned. The salesperson promised they would clean it up and claimed they could even repair the rims. I wasn't aware deep scratches on painted rims could be repaired but anyway. Then I jumped in and was somewhat taken back that they were advertising this for sale when it didn't appear ready yet. Anyway, we took it for a ride and I could immediately feel a little shake to the steering. I asked if the tires were original or new as I interrupted the salesperson texting or checking his emails. He said he would have to check. Then I felt the car pulling to the right. He said that would be fixed as well. The the car only had 6500 miles on I said I expected more, the salesperson said it's used, what do you expect. I said it only has 6500 miles, I'd expect something mint. He said its 2 years old. He then claimed it was a great deal ($32,000). It was far from mint and was teatering on junk, in my opinion. It was a stripped down Sport as well with no options. It was way overpriced for the shape it was in. I'm pretty sure this will end up at the auction and was shocked to see it was considered used-certified. I guess certified can mean certified junk as well but typically you'd expect something in excellent condition. In the end I told the salesperson the car didn't meet my expectations and he seemed put off and argumentative. He claimed it was mint even though I pointed out all of the scratches, the steering wobble, the pulling to the right, and the high amount of carbon build up around the exhaust. He said they would put it all on a to do list and fix it all. Shouldn't it already be fixed and in saleable condition if it's being advertised? All in all, I had. A very bad experience with the salesperson and the advertised auto. I drove a long way to get to the dealership, only to have found I wasted my time. If the dealership is a reflection of the salesperson and the auto, I would also question their service department , and also the dealership as a whole.

Got Car I wanted Even w/ Bad Credit

I came here not expecting much or to purchase a car. They were hospitable and very friendly. Also, they were not pressuring me on the sale. The salesman was very professional and worked with me and got me the car I wanted. My history credit was not as good, but they helped me get the car I wanted. Thanks to Isaac, Ian, and Ramy for a job well done.


Kevin is Outstanding

Kevin was outstanding. I was dealing with a leg problem at the time and had difficulty getting around. He was most accommodating, adjusting schedules when I needed to. He is an outstanding asset to Ken Grody Ford, and I have already recommended him to someone.


Fastest Quality Customer Service

The BEST , fastest quality customer service!!! I came home so satisfied I had to write a review . I was shopping around many car dealerships and no one came close to how helpful and professional these guys are. Fred Barile was absolutely wonderful and a man of his word from the get-go. He was fast and accurate and extreamly helpful in finding exactly what I wanted and doing everything it took for me to drive off in it! Toni Arceneaux in financing was also wonderful, friendly and professional. Both handled everything and took care of us, just like it should be. I am a first time buyer so it was a little tuff but they assured me they'd help me , and thats exactly what they did! Thank you! I will refer you guys always!
