My AC was not working very good as the system was low on freon. I returned to Hoehn Honda in Carlsbad and they charged me $163 for the service of recharging freon and chaning a $25 relay. This was in July 2016. Fast forward June 2018 when I returned for the same issue, they charged me $434. When confronted, the manager told me that you have agreed over the phone, that was the price. Tremendous price inflation or blatant rip off, you decide, that was my last visit in this garage.

Not trustworthy
I have brought my car in for service for over 1 year complaining of the same thing. They could never “hear the problem or replicate the problem “ until my warranty expired... then they heard the problem right away and tried to charge full price. After finally fixing it, I get my car back home to only discover a bunch of new problems that never existed before.... that all stem from the same area they previously did work on!!!! Very unprofessional, not friendly and do not care about their customers at all!!!

Not meeting commitment
I got my driver side mirror broken and went to Hoehn Honda and the technician informed that if they buy the part from them they will fix it without any charge and spoke to his manager and confirmed it.He also informed fixing it will take only 10min.Next day when I went to Hoehn they simply told that he is not authorized to tell that to me and charged the service fee and made me wait for 1:30min.

Not meeting commitment
I went to Hoehn Honda to buy and replace driver side mirror kit.The technician from Hoehn Honda informed that if they buy the part from them they will replace it with no additional charge and they will do it in 10min.I agreed and he spoke to his manager and have given me quote.I took the quote from him and paid the amount.Next day when the part arrived I was asked to pay additional amount for service again and have to wait for 2hrs for getting it fixed.When I have informed them what was told to me they just told that he has no authority on price and he didn?t talk to his manager.I spoke service manager and told them that he was a Hoehn representative that has given me the quote and details,he paid no interest to at least hear me out and reiterated that he was wrong and he has no authority to take that decision.I was not concerned about the additional amount I paid but for a few dollars they lost a regular customer for service and I had plans of buying new car and considering them but not anymore

Exceeds expectations
My wife and I needed to purchase another car for our growing family. We contacted Lindsey Brown online and based on our needs she referred us to meet up with Bob Johnson and Jim "Fish" Fisher. We told them what we wanted and what we could afford and they fully understood our needs and NEVER once did they "push or hassle" us into anything. Buying a car can be scary and overwhelming for many people however their commitment to finding us the right deal to fit our budget was on point! The whole team was loyal and in the car business that's rare. Super respectful, honest, kind and courteous is how I would describe our experience at Hoehn Honda. Ultimately we purchased a beautiful car and my wife and I are very pleased. Thank you Lindsay Bob and Jim for your commitment to the customer.

Worst Customer Service
I was a Toyota Corolla owner for six years prior to this experience, thus I am writing this review keeping in mind the superior customer service I’ve had, from Toyota corporate and the Auto Repair Shop in Carlsbad. Palan was my car salesman that worked with myself and parents who accompanied me; he was very informative, yet rushed and pressured me from the very beginning. Nonetheless, I purchased a 2017 Honda Civic and I trusted that I left the dealership with all of the accessories that were advertised when the car was displayed to me. Thus, when I arrived home, the cargo liner that was in the trunk was taken out, and to top it off, when I approached Palan about this issue, he said it was not included with the car. I questioned if he falsely advertised the car, and he agreed, “Yes.” I was very disappointed with the fact that this HOEHN HONDA salesman was not honest, and should have negotiated including this item. Secondly, about 5 weeks after I bought the car, the foam in the driver’s seat turned out to be DEFECTIVE. The entire left side COLLAPSED and it has not been fixed by either Hoehn Honda nor has HONDA Corporate resolved this issue. Service at Hoehn Honda is very poor and unprofessional, dreadful service. Esteban was my service advisor, and he has failed to call me back to try and fix the problem after it being fixed only ONCE. Not only am I being inconvenienced by driving with a deformed seat, but I have wasted time and effort to try to speak to Skip (Manager)- he never responds to e-mails, voicemails nor phone calls. Corporate Honda is the SAME. They tried to send me over to Escondido Honda, but have not received a call yet after over a week passed. I recommend you save your time, money, and energy. Do not buy from HOEHN HONDA, and consider how much trouble you will have to go through with Corporate Honda to simply get a small part like this fixed.

Happy with my new CRV !
We have been in so many dealerships in town and finally we found the right place , Hoenh / Honda Carlsbad . Staffs were wonderful and kind with special mention to Angelina "Geline" and her co staff Nelson . They were very approachable and warm . They make sure all our questions are answered clearly and diligently. They explained to us alll the details of the car that we are looking for. They made us feel as a familly. They assured us that we will be happy and satisfied with our new car and they are there to help if any concerns or problems come out .

Bought pre-owned Honda
Sales rep, Dante, was very helpful and answered all of my questions. I found a great pre-owned 2014 Honda Insight which I'm very happy with. It's a professional dealership and everyone I encountered was very friendly and service oriented. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that I found this car online and so I didn't really go through the whole in-person shopping experience so I can't comment on that. But they have a lot of inventory and only high quality vehicles so I expect you'll find what you need through their dealership if you want to shop and compare different models.
