A Car Buying Experience as Good as It Gets!

I recently purchased my first Audi, a 2018 Audi A5 Cabriolet, through IJ Feinman with Audi San Diego. My entire car buying experience without question was the most exceptional I have ever had in purchasing a vehicle. IJ Feinman at Audi San Diego with his high integrity and care for his customers is how all salespeople in the car industry should be. Unfortunately, most of the time its not. His high level of professionalism and knowledge of cars, not just Audi products, but many other types of cars, is what made me purchase the Audi A5. He owns and drives two Audi’s himself! Having never purchased an Audi product, I had a million questions. IJ was able to patiently answer all of my questions, in an easy to understand manner. Once when I had a question on whether to pay additional money for an added feature on the car that IJ did not have any personal experience operating, he called the dealership general manager. The general manager was using the feature I was considering in his own Audi vehicle. The general manager was also very knowledgeable and friendly. Rather than tell me how great the system was, as most car salespeople would to get you to purchase it, he shared that he thought the system was something that I didn't need to purchase! IJ was truly more concerned that I find the right vehicle, with the packages and systems I was looking for, even if it meant a long delay in making a sale. I had such a great experience in the purchase of my first Audi, and working with IJ Feinman and Audi San Diego, that I decided to trade in another vehicle I have, and purchase an Audi Q7 from Audi San Diego and IJ Feinman, although I wasn't planning on doing so for another year. Customer loyalty and trust are both earned through deeds not good salesmanship alone. I feel confident that if I am ever in need again to purchase a vehicle, I would only buy an Audi and do it through Audi San Diego and IJ Feinman. Most sincerely, Bradford Bates

Delighted!

Hats off to Randall for the most enjoyable car-shopping experience ever! From his friendly introduction on the dealership website to my first phone call to the test drive and all the rest, Randall made the experience of looking for a new vehicle FUN. I would recommend him to anyone, including my own mother. I had never before driven an Audi, but after seeing what I liked online, I decided to look for an Audi dealership. Audi San Diego checked all the boxes: high ratings, good location, and good selection of new vehicles – including one I had my eye on. Spoiler alert: I’m sitting in it right now. But don’t worry, the car isn’t even turned on. It’s a Q5 and I love it! After settling on a dealership, next step was to go online and find a salesman who had excellent ratings. It wasn’t long before I found a reviewer who seemed to share my demographics and recommended Randall highly. It’s rare and wonderful when somebody exceeds your expectations in person, but Randall did. After reviewing his profile on the dealership website, I made a mental note to call him the next morning. He had provided his cell phone number for this purpose. I called and he picked up right away. Very friendly, very good first vibe. I liked that I did not have to go through a switchboard. Next thing you know, I’m showing up for an appointment to meet Randall in person and look at various models. There was only one problem – I could not for the life of me find the key fob for my rental. Which means I could not lock the car. God bless him, Randall stayed with me and helped me dig around until we found it. I figured if we could laugh through that, we would probably get along while actually looking at cars/SUVs. After a few minutes of exploring, I asked if I could test drive one I had seen online. I did. The more I checked it out, the more I liked it. It is smart and sophisticated, and much easier to maneuver than other midsized SUVs I’ve experienced. Good mix of practicality and gee-whiz factor. I ended up going for a lease with an option to buy. On my way home from the dealership in my new ride, I thought “This is the best car I’ve ever had!” And though I’ve worked with some fine salesmen, Randall is truly a standout. Relatable, helpful, competent and trustworthy. If he didn’t know something, he readily said so and followed up to find out. Rosalina in finance was also friendly, professional, relatable, and efficient. Both she and Randall went out of their way to create a positive customer experience. When the keys were handed over, Randall let me know I could call him with any questions. I should also note that I went back a couple of days later to get an offer from the dealership on my old car. Randall arranged for me to get a good price, and I love that the dealership made themselves exceptionally easy to work with. I left the dealership happy and relieved. If I could give them, especially Randall, seven out of five stars, I would!

Exceptional service. Ask for Donald Bragg. He is very knowledgeable about Audi cars and always goes the extra mile to keep his clients happy and to make the deal work.

Don Bragg provides stellar service yet again!

This is my third Audi I’ve purchase through Don at Audi San Diego. Don has provided nothing but great service time and time again. His attention to details and perseverance to get me the best value are top notch. Thanks Again Don! I love my new Q5!!!

Killin' it

Got a call from Randall 2 minutes after I booked a test drive. He was able to meet with me the next day. As my first time going through a dealer, I was a little wary. Randall wasn't pushy or anything, he walked me through each step (seriously, think I had him break a record on his step tracker). Left the dealership super happy. They were able to even bump me up with the financing department where Heike continued to give me the best experience. She was awesome, helped me with getting a warrenty.

A great car-buying experience from start to finish

From the moment I contacted Randall Blaum I felt I was in good hands. His initial email response was prompt and clear and that continued through all subsequent emails, calls, and face-to-face visits. He and Fadi were welcoming, knowledgeable, and great fun to talk with. When it came time to locate my vehicle Randall worked hard to find one and get it to the dealership as quickly as possible. All this was achieved with care and the highest professional standards. The actual pick-up of a new car is always a drawn-out process due to the forms, etc but everyone at Audi San Diego did their best to make it as smooth and painless as possible. I would recommend anyone looking for an Audi to drop by this location.

Very Knowledgeable

I had a lot of questions about the Audi brand in comparison with other higher end vehicles. Randall is very knowledgeable about not only Audis but other similar cars. Even though I am not ready to make a purchase, Randall took his time with me explaining differences in the cars I am interested in. I didn't feel pressured into making a decision right but totally feel comfortable coming back again and working with Randall.

As easy and stress free a purchase as I could hope for.

I had done my homework and shopping before I entered SD Audi. I.J. realized this very quickly and this made striking the right deal for a late model A4 relatively easy.

WOW! Randall is THE MAN!!

I used to hate buying cars until I found Randall Blaum. And now I'm a raving fan and here's why: he's honest, upbeat, tells it like it is with FACTS and PROOF to back it all up and shows it to me right in front of my face, he takes his time, there's no rush (but he's fast, too), I don't feel pressured, I forgot how frustrated and stressed I was about the whole car-cuying experience (some dealerships just suck, you know?), he LISTENED to me and I felt he was being totally genuine in all his responses, he took care of us, he didn't waste my time, he was efficient, friendly, hassle-free, and I ended up getting a great deal on a car that I love... and I can honestly say that Randall changed my mind about the car-buying experience. There ARE good people out there who sell cars, and Randall is one of the best, if not THE best. Thanks Randall. I'll be back!
