Excellent sales and finance staff.

Excellent sales and finance staff. Chris Schwent was exceptional and knowledgeable.. The Finance person was excellent. the best service we’ve had in dealing with all dealerships. we are old and have purchased many cars.

AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS

No wonder why this dealership has a 2.1 rating. I called and spoke to the fleet dept and the gentleman was so rude and avoided the question I asked of how much premium he's charging for the car. Then I asked to speak with someone else because he was so rude and he wouldn't transfer me. Then I called back and he threatened me and said don't ever call this store again. Avoid this store at all costs!!!

Go give your money to another dealership

They claim that all cars in their inventory are in great shape or they wouldn’t be selling the cars. They lie. I bought a 2007 Nissan Murano from them and it has been SUCH a lemon!!! Please go ANYWHERE else. Their solution to the problem was “maybe it’s time for a new car!” After 3 months of purchasing it.

Go give your money to another dealership

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Horrible service and made me feel small. Would not honor warranties from another dealership. Be very aware when you shop there. PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE!!!

Don’t do it.

Liars. Simple as that. Honesty isn’t the best policy here. I would never even consider doing business with them again. Don’t waste your time, you’ll regret it as much as I do.

Shawn and Richard need to do a better job on communicating with customers . If someone says no it means no don’t force them into a deal they don’t want for your satisfaction. 0 stars for the whole dealership you’re not the only Lexus dealership in the region so improve your customer service or you won’t be getting many sales

This dealership lacks honesty and integrity.

This dealership lacks honesty and integrity. I was interested in a used car they had advertised for $18,489. I called to make sure the car was available to see, so I drove two hours to see it. When we looked at the car, there was another sticker next to the price tag with an added paint protection fee for $2495. So the price for the car was actually $20984. False advertising!!!. When I we spoke with the manager about the advertised price and the added paint protection fees, he said, "did you read the fine print". What a statement to say after we drove 2 hrs to look at a car that they advertised for $18,489, not $20984. He also said, "all the dealerships do this type of advertising". I have never come across a dealer that falsely advertises their cars. My recommendations for Shottenkirk Desert Lexus, DO NOT GO THERE.!!! If you do, do not deal with the man with tattoo's on his fingers. I was so disappointed that I did not read the reviews of this dealership before I drove out there. On Yelp, there were so many similar stories like mine. How would anyone want their name associated with these very unethical sales tactics! Needless to say, I found another car at Norm Reeves Toyota of San Diego, they stayed true to their advertised price.

Hi, This is a HORRIBLE, UNSCRUPULOUS Dealership to do

Hi, This is a HORRIBLE, UNSCRUPULOUS Dealership to do business with. I have been lied to numerous times by the two Finance/ Managers. Eddie Escobar and Ari Angulo kept saying it's the other one that is handling this or is at fault. I way overpaid (my fault) as they like to price gouge their client's. I bought a 2022 Lexus LX600 Premium because I wanted White and it was in stock. I had been dealing with the salesman since July and was excited when he told me about the 2002 LX600 that was available and in stock on 11-23-2022. I had to work for almost a week with him and his manager Eddie to get the price down to what I paid. He turned me over to Ari and I gave them a $1,000 deposit on 11-29-2022. Ari let me know he was going to email me a link so I could E-sign most of the paperwork, which I received and signed. I then was told by Ari that he was overnighting the few forms that had to have original signatures. I said no problem and that I would sign them and overnight them back with their return envelope. It took two days to get to me on 12-01-2022. I overnighted it back and they received it on 12-02-2022. I told Ari that the cashier's check that I had let the salesman, Eddie and Ari know was coming out of a FL business account I had spoken to​ both of them and the salesperson​ about a week earlier and ​it ​was being overnighted on 11-30-2022. Ari then asked for a copy of the check, so they could get the deal on the LX600 counted into Novembers deals. It must or may have helped their numbers​ that ​they report to Lexus Corporate. I let Ari know that it would not be a problem and I emailed a copy of the check to Ari on 11-30-2022. They received the check on 12-01-2022 and have proof of delivery through UPS as with the other deliveries from FedEx. Ari tried telling me on 12-01-2022 that the check was no good and that he had spoken with some bank teller and even had his GSM in the room for one of the phone calls. I said that's impossible and had the bank manager call him on 12-01-2022 to verify funds. He never tried reaching out to me, I had to keep calling to finally reach him. When I did speak with Ari on 12-01-2022 after he spoke with the branch manager at the bank, he said everything was ok. I said if there was a problem overnight the check back and would have it wired back to him on 12-02-2022. He said no that would not be necessary and he would be having the check deposited on 12-02-2022. I even sent a picture of the bank account showing that the check was out of the account and that there was more than enough to cover a few checks worth what was sent to them. Then everyone went silent. I called, emailed and texted for days and days. The only response I received a few times until 4 days ago was that the check hadn't cleared​ yet.​ That's after I sent information close to a week ago showing as they obviously know that Cashiers checks clear the same day or next day after they are deposited. I called and spoke to Eddie on 12-08-2022 from a different number, so he would answer. He did and was very rude on the phone but did say that my Lexus LX600 as well as another 2022 LX600 were both still at the dealership. I then emailed Ari and another sales manager and he called within half an hour after vanishing for a week. He then told me that someone wired in money for both of the 2022 Lexus LX600's. I said how is that possible as you have deposited the cashiers check a week ago along with all the paperwork signed by me and him. He said it was not up to him but now it was up to someone above him. The co​mp​troller, GM, it's just another way to pass the buck. He told me he would overnight the check and I said you have had the money for a week and to wire it back. He said he would after he got the wire instructions which he got later that day 12-08-2022. He and everyone has vanished again. The money has not been wired or a cashiers check overnight​ed back​. There is no money back into the account the cashiers check came from.
