Due to my local dealer marking up the Acura I wanted via required extras, I reached out to Pohanka Acura, even though they're over 2 hours away from me. Yong Kim helped me, by finding a car coming in that checked all my boxes, sending me a complete breakdown of the out the door price (NO markups or required extras), and reserving the car for me, all done via phone. Once my car came in, Yong contacted me and set up an appointment for me, and I drive up a couple days later. The in person dealership experience was great too. The whole process only took a little over an hour, and everybody was very friendly and helpful. Folks, this is the fourth Acura RDX I've leased from Pohanka over the last 10 years, and on each one of these vehicles, I've had the same sales person, Yong Kim. The best feeling you can leave a car dealership with is when you were able to get the vehicle you want without having the fight the dealership in order to do so. I can say that for my previous three RDX' and for this one as well, Yong Kim made the process easy, painless, and without the aggravation that is typical of a car buying experience. The experience not being obnoxious and obfuscated while it is working itself out is one of the main reasons this is now my fourth Acura. I absolutely loved each of my RDX, and I believe the dealership experience that Yong provides is about as high end as is possible. He's very upfront, clear with his messaging, accurate with his timeframes, and most importantly, doesn't lie or lead you to believe something then pull the rug out from under you. He seems like a legitimately decent human being as well as a terrific sales associate. I would very much recommend stopping by and dealing with him if you are in the market for an Acura.
