I have purchased 2 cars from Fremont Mazda and was delighted before, so I am not angry at them for not keeping their word in this instance. Still, after... communicating back and forth with my sales associate on a formally documented written price quote prior to coming in to the dealership during COVID-19, the quote was not honored when my wife and I went in to pick up the car. I even sent the formal quote to the head of sales to confirm price before coming to the dealership, to make sure everything was lined up in advance since we are in COVID shelter in place. As soon as I completed all of the paperwork in person for the CX-5, another person from the sales leadership team came out and said they could not honor the price stated in their written quote but would sell the car for $1900 more than the quote. I think that is poorly done by the dealership who blamed a computer error that several people had experienced. If that was the case, they should have informed me in advance, particularly given our multiple instances of phone and email communication prior to the sale. Very disappointed since I had planned to buy two more cars from them when my two college seniors graduate next June. Yes, we have been a happy Mazda family. Rethinking Mazda and my dealership.
Terrible customer service. They were only nice up to the point of you signing a contract with them. After that, all the promises made before were broken.... They even had me make a payment on their behalf and did not keep to their promise of reimbursing me afterwards. When I tried following up with them on the reimbursement, all they did was avoiding me. So, if you do not want to get conned, avoid this dealership at all costs.

Beware of purchasing from this location. I traded in my vehicle and was told I would get a certain value for it. Instead, Fremont Mazda sneakily made my... trade in value basically worthless on paper and said I received that value for a special promotion. Fast forward to returning my vehicle, and Fremont Mazda will not give me back the value of my trade-in because they incorrectly listed it as a promotion. In this case, it appears that Fremont Mazda gets to pocket the money from my trade-in value and also keep the promotion money from Mazda. Great for them, but expensive for me to lose out on all of this money. I’ve tried several times to have Fremont Mazda correct their mistake and they refuse to correct the situation. This feels slimy and dishonest and I would never purchase a vehicle from them again. Future customers should be aware of Fremont Mazda’s cunning behavior and transaction deceptions. Further, it was promised that Apple Car play would be installed for free later in my purchase year, only to find out later that they were charging $349 for the installation. Overall, terrible experience with this dealership. Take your business elsewhere!

I purchased a new Mazda 3 about 2.5 years ago and the sale manager sold me a service contract for $1725. He assured me that service contract included... all major scheduled services excluding wear and tear. I figure it is acceptable. I found out today while I took my car in for a 37,000 miles service, it didn't even include an air replacement. As it turned out, for that amount of money, it only cover basic oil change and tire rotation. It is a total ripe off.
My sales person ( Athena ) was extremely pleasant and helpful to deal with. Her professionalism at Fremont Mazda is an asset to your dealership! I will... come back in the future when I need to purchase another vehicle....

I am furious at my car dealership experience. I am 7 month pregnant and already of two kids. My husband and I decided to buy a bigger car. We went to... Fremont Mazda about month ago to buy a used car. At the signaling they only had one key fob. The dealer agreed to order a 2nd key fob. Salesman 1: Getting a 2nd key fob is easy. I'll send an order to the parts and service department. It'll take a week. My husband comes in 5 days later to drop off new Loan papers. Husband: So when is the key fob coming? Salesman 1: O, sorry the Part and Service department did not get the order. I'll take another week. 3 days later I call in Me: Did you get the order in? Is there a tracking # on the order? I just want a time line. Salesman 1: I have to talk to my manager. I'll call you back tonight. 2 days later I call in Salesman 1: Please talk to our used car saleswoman. Me: Did you get the key fob? Saleswoman: Yes, the key fob is here. You can come in any Wednesday 1 to 3pm. The key guy will be here. I am also working every Wednesday. Come straight to me. The coming Wednesday I come in at 1:10pm Saleswoman get paged twice. I wait for 10min. She was not there. The Parts and Service department directs me to salesman 2. Salesman 2: Yes, the key guys here. I'll go talk to him. 10min later Salesman 2: Sorry the guy does not have the key fob or the software to install the key. Me: Saleswoman said key fob is here. You also do not need software to install the key. My husband saw it in the manual. Salesman 2: Sorry, we do not have the key. I will call around myself and get the order. I'll can you tonight. 2 days later I call in to talk to Salesman 2 Me: Did you get the key fob ordered? Salesman 2: Parts and service did not get back to me. I'll talk to them and call you back tonight I promise. Me: My husband can install it. Just get us the key fob or a check for $200 so we can buy it ourselves. Mad, sad, and frustrated None of the salespeople call me back. How hard is it to get a 2nd key
