If you want a good experience buying a car, Donny is the one to go to. He greeted us in the showroom with little wait time. Had a smile the entire time. Was knowledgeable on the vehicles we were looking at. Most people dread doing paperwork but Donny was quick to prepare and sign which was a pleasant experience.

Sean even went as far as to go personally find a new antenna for my truck the day after purchase. He was even willing to come to my work to bring it to me himself! Prime time service right there!

The worst car buying experience of my life. Just miserable. I will never go back. I thought Magnum Motors was the worst….nope…these guys are. Dishonest and disrespectful.

The dealer I work with is not cooperative. First of all, he keep car for so long because he doesn’t want to let go about $1000 which a lot of dealers think is not a big deal.

I think rating Payless car sales “poor” would be a huge compliment. These guys are total xxxx. If I could rate less I would. Sold me a truck, under the condition they take care of the vibaration at hwy speeds. When I brought it back to them with a list of concerns including check engine light, raw fuel smell in cab, vibration in front end, O2 sensor code, they assured me there were no problems with the truck. Fast forward a couple weeks, the second time putting it into four wheel drive, front end ate itself. When I called about it their response was that they were really busy but If I bring it to another mechanic for an estimate they will cut me a “break” on labor and get it done cheaper... I had pretty much had it with them as they refused to acknowledge problems with the vehicle and basically wanted to brush it under the rug. The truck sat all winter, as soon as snow thawed and 4x4 wasn’t needed, first time taking the truck out the engine seized. #8 cylinder had 0 compression. This is a truck I paid $24,000 for... come to find out Payless put a stock exhaust manifold on a supercharged pickup. The engine couldn’t breathe, was unbalanced and that is what caused its demise. Raw fuel in cab, 02 sensor code.. check engine light... all these things they looked at when I returned the truck to them “nah man it’s all fine” I have had to take it to multiple mechanics, all of them said the same thing. Basically they’ve seen this more than once from Payless and that they are criminals. Payless even wasted my time having me tow the truck to their shop (as if they were going to try an help/accept responsibility) their recommendation was A TIMING JOB BUT “great news it’ll only cost you $3000” and if that doesn’t fix it we can go from there... why would you do a timing job on a blown engine???? I am the sole provider for my family of 4, Payless auto sales has put my family in a financial bind... me new engine and front end work already total over $12,000... and my mechanic let me know the transmission was leaking too... thank you Payless for the $40,000 10 year old half ton pick up truck. That 2000 miles my family put on it was well worth the years of financial hardship and stress.
