They agreed to detail the used car I bought. They provided great service and did a great job on my car! It looked brand new! the scratches were hardly visible and the inside was spotless.

Unprofessional and sloppy transaction
My transaction was completed by email and phone and not in person. Although the pricing was competitive and the dealer meant well, the overall transaction experience was extremely unorganized and sloppy. I was told that my car would be delivered on a Tuesday and then closer to Tuesday I was told it would be delivered on Wednesday. I then get a voicemail Tuesday morning saying delivery would occur on Tuesday. The dealership goes ahead and sends the car out for delivery with no confirmation that I can be available even with the very last minute changes. In addition, the dealership said that a finance manager would go over the terms of my contract (including final pricing). This never happened and I was asked to provide payment about 20 minutes before the scheduled delivery on tuesday. Cory the finance manager left me one vm on a Saturday and I left vms for him on Sunday and Monday with no response until after the car was already delivered. When I questioned Chris about how they could move forward with the delivery of the car without even going over the contract with me, they said they ‘prayed’ they made the right decision in sending the car. ??

I can’t recall service person’s name. Bill, Dave or Jim? But he was very knowledgeable and guided me to what I needed. I’d go back to him again.

Friendly, comfortable, pleasant.
From the moment we entered the dealership everyone was helpful but not pushy. I didn’t feel pressured at all. The car was a good deal. The salesman that did our paperwork even went outside and removed the license plate holder from my trade in as it was special to me. I really liked the sales people and the manager. Very nice experience. Highly recommended.

So ... call me maybe?
I've been a loyal Manly customer since 2001. Much has changed in that time. A recent visit to their service department left me shaking my head. I had a couple maintenance issues to resolve, so I phoned for an appointment. My service adviser Mr. Jose Rocha wanted to check the availability of parts and promised to phone back that day. He didn't get back to me. A week later, I phoned again to follow up, and Mr. Rocha apologized for not getting back to me promptly. At 2 pm on the day of my appointment, Mr. Rocha sent me a text saying my car would be finished by 4 pm. I made the mistake of going to the dealership without confirming. After fighting heavy traffic, I arrived after 5 pm. My car was not ready. Apologetic, Mr. Rocha simply told me "we ran out of time". I was told later that there were difficulties with the repair---these things happen. But in such circumstances, I expect the service adviser to text, phone, or e-mail me as soon as it becomes apparent that the promised time won't be met. He didn't do that. Mr. Rocha substantially discounted the repair cost to match his original estimate, even though the job turned out to be considerably more work than expected. (To charge any more would've been problematic, since I hadn't been informed about the extra work, nor was I provided with a revised estimate.) The day after I picked up my car, I received an e-mail from the Manly service manager Mr. Nicholas Hatch, urging me to contact him "If we have not earned a 5-star or excellent service rating". I phoned Mr. Hatch on Sunday and left a voicemail. It's now 5 pm on Tuesday, and he has not returned my call. I realize nobody enjoys delivering bad news, but that is one of the duties of a service adviser. Nobody enjoys listening to negative feedback, but that is one of the duties of a service manager. Over the years, I've come to trust the service advisers at Manly, including Bill Robertson. I hope this organization can pull itself together and earn my trust again.

Great deal on an Accord EX-L, very friendly service
Javier was absolutely wonderful to deal with. I cannot recommend him highly enough. After bad experiences at 4 dealerships in the South Bay, Manly Honda really shone through.
