Excellent Service!!!! I took my car in for service and I was told 3 hours as they were super busy. I was called and informed that my service was going... to be free , as they were going to be longer than the anticipated hours.
My drivers side wiper was not working due to ice falling onto it. I could not see out of the drivers side windshield. I called Gresham Ford to see if... they could look at it and the service dept said bring it in. Then when I got there the person at the counter said they couldn't even lift the hood to see if the wiper arm was broke. Said" they just started back to work after the bad storm and I would have to schedule an appt and leave it for two days and tear a part the cover to be able to see if it needed and motor. He was really not respectful and this is not the first time. I have been bringing my two Ford vehicles for years and No more to Gresham Ford. Note: I called another Ford Dealership and got it fixed in 30 minutes and was only that the wiper had been knocked out of sink when the ice slid down my windshield. I was without power and heat, phone, and wifi for 5 days so my ability to cope with his attidude was past its limit. I have spent thousands of dollars and purchased my car new there so I'm done. They use to be really nice but now that my car in older not so very pleasant to work with.
We found the used car via cars.com that we wanted to see/test drive so called and made arrangements with Steve Renner(the internet/fleet manager to meet.... No hard sell and still honored price even though it was no longer listed on the internet. The buying process was easy with Captain John the finance guy. They stayed open late for us but we still needed to get the phone synced with the car so brought it back the next day and got that done plus they made an extra key at no extra charge. Nice folks to do business with.
I have a friend who was having trouble with her older Ford Explorer overheating. She was laid-off due to COVID-19 and is a single mom raising 2 boys. I... called Gresham Ford and told them what what going on with her vehicle. The Service Manager that I spoke to was very polite, understanding and accommodating. I was able to make an appointment for her to drop it off the next morning. I talked to my friend and she said dropping off her car went very smoothly. She said often times she has felt disrespected by staff at car repair shops. But, she said her experience at Gresham Ford was very different. She said they were caring, helpful and very respectful. My friend said Gresham Ford went above and beyond in communicating with her and helping her to understand what needed to be done to her car. They also were much more affordable than she thought a dealership would be. Thank you Gresham Ford for taking such good care of my friend and her car!
Such a nice staff, friendly, helpful and attentive!
DON'T GO HERE for repair or service work. Had them do a multipoint inspection before a big roadtrip. Car broke down a week later. Here is what they missed:... - Master break cylinder leaking badly, caused BREAK FAILURE in mountains! - Front control arms ball-joints visibly damaged, risking steering failure - Transmission fluid way too low, causing transmission failure - Break fluid long overdue for a change, causing further break problems - Engine idler to loose, risking engine overheating Am yet waiting to find an agreement with this place to get compensation and an explanation as to why they endangered our lives (e.g. break failure). After two weeks still no luck getting an appointment.
August 2018 On July 11, 2018 I brought my 1999 Mustang GT to Gresham Ford to have the air conditioning looked at and the key fob replaced. They brought... my car out and said the AC works and the put die in the Freon line to detect future leaks. The total cost was $202.64 with $55.71 going to the key fob and $146.93 going to the air conditioner. A week later the AC stopped working and I returned the car to Gresham Ford on July 26, 2018. I wanted to replace two dash light bulbs and have the left rear window motor repaired and of course have the AC analyzed. They brought the car out and said, "Both rear windows were inoperable and Ford no longer makes rear window motors for 1999 Mustangs." To be fair, when I got in the Mustang back, both rear windows worked. Only the passenger side window worked when I brought it in. But, they told me neither window worked. and were surprised when I told them that both windows now work. It's hard to give them credit for fixing the the drivers side rear window when they said it did not work and no parts were available. He obviously shook some wires in the driver door panel which made a connection unknown to them. They offered to replace ten more dash light bulbs at $11.50 each which would have been an additional $115.00 for parts, I am not sure what the additional cost for labor would have been because I declined. They also stated, "The AC pump had a leak and repair cost would be $1168.00." I declined this repair also. I went across the street to Advanced Auto Parts and bought the AC pump for $140.00. I jacked the car up and proceeded to analyze the AC pump situation before swapping it out. I realized the Freon pressure valve was finger tight. I immediately tightened the pressure valve to the closed position. I then bought Freon and pressurized the system myself. And my AC has been working excellent since. I went back to Gresham Ford and requested $100.00 of the initial $143.93 to be refunded me for their mistake and my cost to fix the AC. A women general manager refused to give me a refund of any kind. The bottom line is two trip to Gresham Ford for a total of $424.64 amounted to two dash light bulbs and key fob. Either way you look at it Gresham Ford is negligent. Either this mechanic did not have sense enough to close a valve before adding Freon or the AC pressure valve was purposely put finger tight so the Freon would slowly bleed off and they could sell me a new AC pump for $1160.00. Are you going to pour water in you radiator with the drain plug open? This is what Gresham Ford did with my AC pump. This was supposed to be a professional certified Ford mechanic and he is putting costly Freon in a pressurized system with the pressure valve not tight. You be the judge. I have their service papers here and can show you the car. If you would like to contact me do so at email@example.com. Dissatisfied, Lonny
This was my first time to Gresham Ford and I will be back! Friendly customer service and the lowest priced tires around! Amazing!
This was my first experience after hearing wonderful things about Gresham Ford and I was not disappointed! Friendly service and excellent prices. I will... be back!
Amazing staff and service! Highly recommend for anyone in the Portland area looking for a car. They have high standards of quality and intergrity, which... is hard to find in car dealerships. I've purchased several cars here and so has my family. Whenever we have them serviced, they go the extra mile and never overcharge us on stuff we don't need. Awesome experiences every time!!!
