Came in for an oil change and new key battery - they found a bunch of other problems related to a windshield replacement that ended up costing an extra $600. On the one hand, good to fix problems. On the other, $600??

They will rip you off so be careful.

Had an oil change and charged me $199 at Burien toyota.

Had an oil change and charged me $199 at Burien toyota. Renton Toyota said its only cost them $99. Both Toyota dealership and why their pricing are different. Even with costs of repairs, Renton Toyota is way lower. I also bought a brand new toyota for my daughter and I have to go to Renton Toyota as they are more easier to talk to.

I’m loving that (Floor) service manager came back to

I’m loving that (Floor) service manager came back to Burien Toyota! I make an appointment, drop off my vehicle and it’s completely done and ready in an hour or so depending on what I’m having done. Prices and quality of service is great!!!!

A year + ago dash computer warning “fix” was battery

A year + ago dash computer warning “fix” was battery replacement (which failed in a year, subsequently replaced by AAA), which did not fix computer problem that would not allow turning off the Prius engine which would not release the key fob. VERY expensive but ultimately solved by headache after 2nd visit and full week in shop. Rated 7/10 Most recent visit for R headlight out: less expense than expected and only delay in providing the fix was delay to next opening following the weekend: 10/10

I bought my truck here in 2021.

I bought my truck here in 2021. I bought what I thought was the factory’s extended warranty. I found out after I agreed that it was actually through a third party vendor, United Car Care. Well, fast forward to NOW… I need to use my warranty. United was awful and denied my claim even though the problem wasn’t excluded and should have been fixed. So what does Burien Toyota do? They don’t go to bat for the customer and try to get coverage. Their service people basically said oh well, told me it’d be a thousand bucks to fix it, and tried to charge me $200 just to look at the problem… I said, “you realize I bought this warranty HERE, right??? Can you really stand by these crooks at United??” - shrug in response. The service manager said a sales manager would call me about the warranty complaint as I wanted my money back after United showed who they are and how they treat people. I didn’t hear a word. So a while later, I call for the sales manager.. got put to his voice mail. Never got a call back. Bottom line: I wouldn’t buy an apple from these people, they peddle junk warranties and they know it … and their service people don’t care when the warranty claims come in. Go find another dealer and if you do, do NOT let their closer truck you into this bogus “warranty.” I’m about to take both of them to the WA Attorney General….
