Profits over customer every time

I has it set up to order a Raptor Ranger the day the order banks opened it was set in motion as soon as I heard they would be available. I was told I was first in line to place the order only to be told at the last minute that they were jacking the price by 15K on a second sticker for more profit. They could have been honest from the start and I would not have gotten my hopes up of owning one. This is purely for their profit and complete lack of care for the customer. This has lost them a customer poor choice Sunset poor choice. They have a great team in service just over shadowed by the greed of the ownership.

Shout out to Todd. He listened to our needs and found us the perfect Ford 4×4 truck. And thanks to the whole staff. Plus Todd got a ding fixed for us in one day. Everything was done so we didn't stress about buying.


Custom order for a Maverick.

Custom order for a Maverick. When it came in the manager was adamant about ADMs.. (after dealer markups) that at the time of order I specifically asked about and was informed from the sales associate that there would not be any. Then when I come to pickup my vehicle it turns out there are a number of extra charges they claim they place on every vehicle which I was told at the time of order were not going to have. Then I was pretty much told that I would pay them or have to walk away from my order then allowing them to jack up the price a ton more and make even more money off of others. One of the ADMs that are applied to every vehicle is "pulse braking". The top brake light flashes a few times before going on solid for $600. Unfortunately the dealership is not aware that both in Washington and Federal Law.... illegal. Both dealership installed on a new vehicle and added on a used vehicle by dealership...are illegal. (unless it is an emergency vehicle, of which my personal vehicle would not be) If the links dont work.. "No person may have for sale, sell, or offer for sale for use upon or as a part of the equipment of a motor vehicle, [...] or use upon any such vehicle any [...] rear lamp, [...], or parts of any of the foregoing which tend to change the original design or performance...." So I highly recommend that this shady dealership stop their bull after dealer markup scams and sell just the vehicle the way people ordered them. I am going to file a complaint against them and get reimbursed back by the dealership in court for fraud.


I can’t even say enough about what a great and positive

I can’t even say enough about what a great and positive experience we had at Sunset Ford! We’ve been looking for the perfect car for our family and had our requirements, with no rush getting out of our current car. Steve and Chris were amazing from the first time we walked in!! We went to test drive and told them right away we were not purchasing that day. They were both patient, respectful and did not push! We came back two more times and each time they were awesome!! They paid MORE for my trade in than I owed and gave us a screaming deal on our dream car! The process and interactions were seamless, not pushy, respectful and positive!! I’ve never had a process so smooth, 10/10 recommend Chris and Steve! Thank you!!


Can't get the price of their advertised vehicles

This dealership does not post prices for their cars. They require you to provide your contact info, so they can contact YOU, presumably as often as they like. I left three requests for the price of a vehicle I was very interested in, providing my name and email address. But got no. I stated in a chat with the dealership that I just wanted to know if the vehicle was in my price range and preferred NOT to leave my phone number as well. I finally gave up on getting a price and decided these aren't the kind of folks I really want to deal with. Good luck if you try to do business with them.


Don't do business with sunset ford

The finance guy there is a complete xxxxxxx, he will distract you and cover up key items in the paperwork to benefit the dealer and deprive you of what you deserve as a customer


Well not the end of the world, but came in and looked at

Well not the end of the world, but came in and looked at a white bronco for my wife today. The salesmen didn’t know the price so he pulled out his phone and called his sales manager and placed him on speaker phone to get us a price. The sales manager seemed upset about this and then the salesman proceeded to tell him “ just sell the mother xxxxxx thing” but he used the F word. My wife and I both were taken back by this tactic and decided to say no thanks and left. Just a lovely experience

My salesman showed me the paper they turn and push in front of you with my trade in values, my rtr was $41,000 my Mach 1 said $25,000 but the paper I signed has a total trade in value of $62,000, yep they screwed me out of $5,000, my salesman was very good st distracting me when it came time to sign the paper, that's only the beginning of how they will screw you over, everything you have heard bad about car dealers will come true at sunset ford home of smoke and mirror show
