My name is Wency Tagaro, my husband called to schedule our Toyota Tundra, but I was the one who drove to Kendall Toyota to have our Tundra serviced that day. I had a pleasant experienced with the people that day. The service advisor Justin explained to me what needs to be done and why, I was well updated and was well satisfied of their service.

Awesome Kendall
It was awesome experience. We were helped by staff Aaron Nuevo, in finding the right car that we really wanted. He was there from the beginning until we signed the paper works. And he even called us to follow up on how the car was doing.

Mediocre at best
Spent two hours picking out a tundra. Being late in the eve salesman suggested we start the financial process online from home. He sent us the wrong link which wasn’t corrected until middle of the next day. Sent info in online as soon as correct link received. I followed up again with sales manager but had to leave a message. Did not hear from Kendall salesperson until next day when he reported the truck we had selected was sold to someone else that morning. We have only one Toyota dealer in Alaska so we have no choice but if we did I would say try brand X first as Kendall seems to have little need to be concerned for their customers. We are returning Toyota owners and mostly hope that Honda decides to provide compatible truck and van options in the near future. After having owned four New Honda vehicles from 3 different dealers, Honda wins the quality and customer service game hands down.

Totally inept
My past two visits to their service department have been an absoulte disaster. I brought my 4Runner in for a winter tire changeover and they just left my winter tires in the truck and rotated my summer tires instead (but still charged me for the full changeover). When I asked what happened they blamed it on a new tech from Florida and said they didn't have time to do the changeover and I had to bring the vehicle back another day to get the work done. Next visit I scheduled service to get four items fixed. I was very explicit about what needed to be done and what parts were necessary. The scheduler said no problem and that everything would be ready. They had my truck all day before they started working on it despite promising it back to me before 3:00PM . They didn't fix three of the four items I brought it in for and then lied about waiting until the end of day to start working on it until I told them my alarm system was transmitting GPS and engine status to me all day and I knew they hadn't touched it. Then they claimed they had a bunch of unscheduled drop-offs and they got too busy to work on my 4Runner. Furthermore, they forgot to order the part for one of my repairs so they couldn't do the work. Then they charged me a diagnostic fee because they didn't do the repair I had scheduled. My service rep was clear that they either had to do the repair or charge a diagnostic fee and that it didn't matter that they forgot to order the part. I spoke to the service manager and he was a complete jerk and refused to remove the fee. When I told him that they would lose a good customer for life over a simple diagnostic fee for a repair I scheduled for them to do he stated "he could care less" and that it's "not his problem". If I wanted my truck back I had to pay the fee. These guys are liars and crooks. Get your service done elswhere.

Good service by sales rep and the car was shown to me by another employee, otherwise I would have gone to another car dealer. The person eho showed me the first should take the credit, his name is Chris Evon an employee at Anchorage Toyota.

I came in knowing exactly what I wanted...2018 Prius 2 Eco. The salesperson, Kassi was great and so friendly. As usual, there was a mention of possible dealer add-ons, but no pressure to purchase them. This my 6th vehicle from Kendall Toyota over the years and my first place to look on any vehicle.
