To whom this may concern, I would like to voice my views on Paragon Acura's representatives specifically at the 56-02 Northern blvd store located in Woodside, NY 11377. Shortly after my purchase of the 2013 RDX there was a recall for the brake shift interlock issue which I was quite disappointed about. After several failed attempts to have a courtesy car set up for me, I was forced to bring in my vehicle for recall at my inconvenience on 5/16/2013. After dropping my car off at the dealership, I was told the car will be ready in about 4hours and ill be contacted for pickup. Of course, I received no call. After 6hours, I took the initiative to call in. I waited patiently upon arrival at the dealership for the car to be driven over from the warehouse. Thirty minutes later, representative Kevin Cunningham informed me that my car received a parking violation due to Acura attendant's failure to pay the meter. I was reassured the ticket will be taken care of and I had nothing to be concerned about. I took Mr. Cunningham's word for it. On 6/7/2013, I received a letter from NYC Finance in regards to "pre-paid notice of unpaid violation" with an additional penalty added if not received by 6/15/2013. I immediately contacted Acura dealership on the 7th. The representative told me Kevin is occupied at the moment and will call me right back. I received no call and when I reached out again, they said the department is closed and I need to call back again tomorrow. I called in on the 8th, the representative said "the service associates are all off because its a Sunday, please call back tomorrow." I called in on the 9th, the representative said "Kevin Cunningham is off today, he's the one that submitted your payment, you will need to call back tomorrow" I called in today, 10th, of course Mr. Cunningham is not in. I asked to speak to a manager. The manager so happens to be on the phone. This representative took my message and said the manager will call me back later today. I received no call therefore I call in again at 7pm to follow up. Of course, Acura's representative told me to call in tomorrow. I need this to be filed as a formal complaint with Paragon Acura's customer service. Acura's employees do not take ownership of clients issue and brushes service problems all off once the sale is made. I wonder if this is what Acura really represents. I want a response from a regional manager in reference to this Woodside Acura team. An Out of State Transaction Went Well
I bought a car out of state, sight unseen from Paragon Acura with Peter as the salesman. A transaction of this nature can be difficult and nerve racking. You must have complete trust in both salesperson and dealer. I went into the process on faith and ended up with complete trust in both. Peter kept in touch with me throughout realizing that communication is so important. Any slight defects he noticed were taken care of in the body shop. He sent a lot of pictures giving me a good understanding of the condition of the car. He helped arrange the paper work process with my credit union. The car arrived in Colorado in great condition. It turned out to be a smooth excellent purchase for me and my family.

I cannot begin to express how great my experience was...
I cannot begin to express how great my experience was with Paragon Acura. This was the 2nd time I've dealt with this dealer. I dealt with Melvin Salcedo, and he was extremely professional and not your typical pushy salesman. I expressed my need to trade in my car (which I purchased from them 4 yrs ago) and get into a newer leased vehicle. He was very patient and never made me feel pressured. I can totally appreciate his professionalism. He listened to my needs and together we came up with a price I was comfortable trading the car for and and a payment I felt comfortable with. Its been 5 days since acquiring my new vehicle and I've spoken to Melvin to follow up and a sales manager who called to check in and see if I had any questions. i have wonderful experience here, steve, the sale person was really patient and explained very detailed. peter pazmino, the manager of the sales department, consulting and helping me through all the process, made me feel really satisfied. i will definity do more business with them in the future, i also like to introduce more friends to purchase with them.

I recieved a letter from the dealership about them purchasing my lease car.When i got there i was greeted by JOEL D.He was very pleasant and helpful,nnot pushy.It's hard to believe he only have 5 months on the job.If he didn't know the answers to my questions,He got them.then in walks Camilo right by his side,to answer any and everything i needed to know.He was on point ,he know his job,very patience.Joel and Camiloare like Batman& Robin,you can't go wrong with to guys.I can't forget about Big Mike in finance. He's a sweetheart'. He remember me when i lease my first car.I was going to purchase my TSX 2010, BUT talking to mike.I ended up leasing a new 2013 TSX SPECIAL EDITION.I LOVE IT.HE also brought me and my family lunch while we waited for everything to be final.How many dealships you can go to and one of the staff member buy youn lunch. Well where do I start. I first started dealing with Joel and Camilo on Sunday. They treated my sister and her husband as well as me with the upmost respect. They worked very hard to find the vehicle my brother in law wanted. Once he found the vehicle, Joel explained everything about the vehicle while still maintaining a professional but at the same time family type environment. Camilo treated all of us the same way. If we were thirsty, they would offer us a drink. At the end of that day, my brother in law left with an Acura MDX. They knew that I was going to go the next day and work on my deal. The following morning, Joel and Camilo greeted me with a very calm manner. They both tag teamed trying to get me in an Acura. I will say Joel worked his rear end off. I dont think he sat for more than 2 mins at a time. He was always on the go, trying to get everything as accurate as can be so that I could get a deal. Once all the paperwork was completed, they took me over to see Michael the finance guy, and he was as courteous as Joel and Camilo. Never did I feel obligated to purchase anything, but at the end I did. He showed me every option of purchase I could do, from leasing to financing. When a Nissan dealership told me that they would need to hold a security deposit until they received my title to my old vehicle, so that they know I would come back with the title and then they would return the security deposit back, Paragon asked me to fill out some papers and that they would take care of the title issue and I could leave with my brand new car. I also had a representative, explain every feature that my vehicle had. Never at any time were they disrespectful or made me feel uncomfortable. They honestly took care of me. Being retired from the military, I could honestly say they made me feel as I was an important part of the family, not a person who was going to give them money. Both Paragon buildings were clean and very well organized. Will I recommend Paragon to family and friends? Most definitely. I can honestly say, they worked so hard for me and I left feeling overjoyed with my brand new 2013 Acura ILX. They are a dealership that I will definitely come to for my business. I wish all the dealerships were like this one. Nissan could definitely learn from these guys about respect, and that a person is something more than money in their pocket. If you treat them well, they will always come back to you and will refer all the people they know to that dealership. But if you treat them like they dont mean anything, as Nissan did to me, basically saying that there was no demand for my car that I was turning in because it was a sports car and that they could sell 15 rogues in a month, and that they really couldn't make much off of my sale because I was military and I would be getting employee discount. So I was not a Nissan family member, I was just a sale in their eyes. But that is ok, because I am a proud family member of the Acura family. Paragon is definitely military friendly!!!
