I have a Certified Pre-Owned 2015 C300 that I bought from EuroMotorcars of Germantown in January 2018, and it is still under factory warranty plus a CPO... extension. I brought it in to this dealer, being a 5-minute walk from where I work, because the amplifier failed in my car. My car was scanned and got confirmed that it needed a new amplifier. The part had to be back-ordered from Germany, so it would take a week to arrive. Fast-forward to then and my car is opened up to take the old part out and have it replaced. I get told by a service rep that the mechanic found some water damage in the amplifier due to some "third-party bodywork" where they left off a cap that would have protected the part from this type of damage, voiding the warranty and triggering a charge of $980 not including labor to replace it. Somebody who previously worked on the car must have made this error, taking the word of the mechanic. I have not had any bodywork done on the vehicle whatsoever during the time I've owned it, and the original owner had a clean CarFax, on top of the Germantown dealer certifying the car. Not to mention that this car had its 30k service last year and its 40k service a month ago. The rep stands by the "mechanic's" word and says any work not covered by insurance won't get on the CarFax, plus the mechanic "just knows what he's talking about." I direct her and her manager to contact EuroMotorcars (the selling dealer) and advise what I should do. The next day, I get told by the service manager that I should go back to EuroMotorcars in Germantown for them to take a look at it if I don't want to pay, who also believes this water damage story and repeats it to me being as vague as possible. EuroMotorcars looked at my car the next day and said that they didn't find a single problem with my amplifier and are going to replace it free of charge under warranty. They had no clue what this dealership was talking about. No water damage. No fake missing part. No BS. On top of that, they are getting the part from their warehouse (I thought these things were rare and needed backordering) and my car will be all ready to go the next day. I have no clue who is not doing their job at this dealership, but it is absolutely ridiculous that they tried to scheme me out of my warranty for $1000. Getting lied to about the condition of my car to make a sale is abhorrent. Actually, it’s not even a sale—it’s just service! This dealer may be a short walk from my office, but my car will never be coming back here. I will be driving many miles more over to Arlington, Bethesda, or Germantown just to go to a different dealership. Very much worth it. Avoid this place.

I went to this dealership to view a GLC that was listed on the website with low miles and in "excellent condition". The car was significantly... lower than others, which made us think that there had to be a reason. We looked it up on Carfax prior to going in and saw that the car had been in an accident. So, when we arrived, we were met by Elissio, who proceeded to do the following: 1) When i asked what was the story behind the car and why it was so cheap, i was told that it was just something they do...the car had been leased and it was just lower (no disclosure about the accident); 2) we found lots of scratches and cosmetic damages to the car (which were not pointed out). At the time, i was told that was normal wear and tear; 3) at his desk, i asked him to pull up carfax, where he proceeded to direct my attention anywhere EXCEPT the filed accident. He still did not highlight it. I had to do it. He then told me it was not really an accident, it was just cosmetic damage; 4) over the course of the discussion, he told me that the customer actually traded it in and that they were reselling it as-is. 5) on my trade in, the MBUSA Black book value is between 13500-16500 for the trade in value. My car which is significantly under mileage was given a trade-in of 13000, which i was told was because it had a small rock crack in the windshield and the entire windshield would need to be replaced. The "crack" was less than a dime shape and i had my insurance do it for free (i hadn't even noticed until then). Net - this dealership demonstrated some very shady tactics that should be beneath Mercedes-Benz. I would tread carefully when trying to buy a car here.

I purchased a used car less than two weeks ago. Imagine my surprise, after I purchased my car, when I found out the car only had one key! Really, did I... have to ask that questions? The one key did not come with a key chain, which was promised to be sen to me the next day. Almost two weeks later - no key chain. I bought a Mercedes and couldn't even get a key chain! The door on the passenger had been hit and My sales person Miriam assured me it had been repaired. It looked 90 percent better. But in the light of day I can clearly see the poor work on fixing the dent in the door and matching the paint. I have shared my disappointment with my sales person via text. She responded initially and now is radio silent. I was really excited about my purchase - but my sale person, Miriam, has certainly done little to debunk the myth of the used car sales person. My advice, don't purchase anything in the evening when any repairs can be difficult to inspect. Even after purchasing you Mercedes, don't expect a key chain or for them to mail it to you. After all, based on my experience with my sales person, Miriam, their words mean nothing and after you purchase the car - your dead to them. I can't even get a response to my text and I now have to find a place that will truly fix the dents in my door. I love my car, I hate the fact that the work on my door was subpar and I can't stand people that don't keep their word (Miriam). I appreciate the lesson learned and I will steer all friends to a dealer where integrity is important.

I dropped off my car the night before. Nobody called me for the whole day until I called them. The sales didn't pick up the phone and sent an email... later to tell me I need $5,000 repairs to my car which include replace the whole set of tires I just replaced less than a year and the car is for daily work commute from home to work (10 miles one way). I asked how long will take if I can get a loaner car but no response until another day passed without answering my questions. Since i need to fix the windshield wiper and a turn light. I told them just get these two things done and give back my car. I plan to trade in and buy a new car but I am changing mind to get a different brand. Very disappointing for their services.
