I recently purchased a 2013 Kia Sorento from the DARCARS Ford Kia Dealership in Lanham, MD. There are Kia dealerships that are closer to my home, but based... on various recommendations from friends, I decided to check out DARCARS in Lanham. I certainly am glad that I did. This was a great car buying experience! The team at DARCARS is excellent...very knowledgeable and helpful, friendly and professional....probably one of the best sales teams I have come in contact with. Mike in sales is fantastic. He took his time to explain all of the features in my new Sorento and truly made this an enjoyable experience, which is not always the case at other dealerships. My Kia is great...absolutely love the car and so happy I made the decision to buy a Kia. Very well made car, great features and the warranty is definitely an added bonus.

My initial good impression has evaporated since my purchase. I just wanted my tag, not asking for much. As the expiration date for the temporary tag approached,... I started calling them. Hard to reach anyone there, and when I did I would get a promise (“we’ll overnight you another temporary tag”,”we’ll email you one”, “we’ll investigate it”, etc.) but no action and never even a call back. I talked to my salesman, his assistant, two different people in Finance Dept. Half a dozen fruitless calls, my tag is now expired, and I don’t know when I’m getting a tag or even if one has been ordered. Total frustration.
Darcars did and excellent ensure my car got back on the road after it shut down.. customer service was excellent and every one treated me great
I brought our used car in to be serviced in November 2017, they said it needed a new clutch and synchro rings. They replaced those parts with a 2 year... warranty. Now 4 months later the same 2 parts are failing. I bring the car back and they tell me it is due to aggressive driving and they aren't going to cover those same parts they replaced. I spoke with all the supervisors and the GM and they all have a different story, they want me to pay $1500 to pick up an UNFIXED car - that is just the price to look at it and put it back together. The Supervisors are nasty people, they wont even compromise a penny on that price. I wouldn't have them replace the parts again since they did it once and they failed and now will not cover it. Are you kidding me- they are crooks and liars. One tells me $700, then it went to $900 and now its at $1500. DO NOT go to DAR CARS in Lanham. They sound nice on the phone and try to make it that they want happy customers but then text me nasty things, which I have the texts. Alex the GM has no time to deal with this, Kevin The director is just stern and a liar and Jason the assistant service supervisor who was very nice and wasn't going to charge me to put the car back together turned out to be a liar. I am sure Kevin told him not to speak to me after I gave him words. This will not stop until I receive some compensation for what I paid for NOTHING.
Fantastic experience, great people, fast and easy buying a vehicle at this dealer. I will recommend to anyone to come and buy from this dealer.
