I recently purchased a 2013 Kia Sorento from the DARCARS Ford Kia Dealership in Lanham, MD. There are Kia dealerships that are closer to my home, but based... on various recommendations from friends, I decided to check out DARCARS in Lanham. I certainly am glad that I did. This was a great car buying experience! The team at DARCARS is excellent...very knowledgeable and helpful, friendly and professional....probably one of the best sales teams I have come in contact with. Mike in sales is fantastic. He took his time to explain all of the features in my new Sorento and truly made this an enjoyable experience, which is not always the case at other dealerships. My Kia is great...absolutely love the car and so happy I made the decision to buy a Kia. Very well made car, great features and the warranty is definitely an added bonus.

Confusing location. The last time I used this facility the service department was under construction and they had a trailor in the parking lot for you... to check in and out. The actual servicing garage was were it had always been. Today upon pulling into the garage for service for my 2012 Kia I was told that I needed to go to the other side. There is a smaller garage which has a SERVICE sign on the top but nothing at eye level to direct you and nothing to direct you to exit or circle the building to get to the other side. DIsappointed at best. I received a confirmation for my appointment time, added it to my email/text/calendar so I would get a reminder notice although it was hard to forget that I made the appointment due to intermittent lights. I also checked my email and received a notice that my appointment was cancelled even though I never cancelled it. Eventually Otis wrote up a service ticket and asked a tech to speak with me as he felt the issues were beyond his expertise. No explanation given except that the tech who does the diagnostics doesn't work on Sat. If I had known that when I scheduled the appointment on Thursday I would have made arrangements for Saturday/Monday drop off and rental car pick up. I have had the rental car for two unnecessary days and the appointment for Saturday caused issues in my marriage. I don't understand having a corporate website and a local ownership and nothing being shared between the two entities.
Keep up the good customer service and good values. Will be shopping for a new vehicle soon. Your company is very helpful. I recommend your business.

My initial good impression has evaporated since my purchase. I just wanted my tag, not asking for much. As the expiration date for the temporary tag approached,... I started calling them. Hard to reach anyone there, and when I did I would get a promise (“we’ll overnight you another temporary tag”,”we’ll email you one”, “we’ll investigate it”, etc.) but no action and never even a call back. I talked to my salesman, his assistant, two different people in Finance Dept. Half a dozen fruitless calls, my tag is now expired, and I don’t know when I’m getting a tag or even if one has been ordered. Total frustration.
Darcars did and excellent ensure my car got back on the road after it shut down.. customer service was excellent and every one treated me great
