Do yourselves a favor and chose any other BMW dealership

Do yourselves a favor and chose any other BMW dealership than this. Buying a luxury car should be a pleasurable experience. Not in my case. My husband and I ordered a BMW X5 in November which was supposed to be ready in January. We were not sure about trading in my Volvo but were quoted a trade-in value that the sale person said they will keep until we finalized the financial side of the deal. They lied, later on they offered $2000 less. Instead of January, I was asked to close the deal in December. They explained it was beneficial for me because there was a new promotional interest rate on the car loan and good for them too because they can get the commission at the end of the year and not wait till January. I drove by myself to close in December and that's when they offered me less for my trade-in. That changed everything for me. I had made my calculations of my down payment and trade in and I could estimate my new monthly payment. The less trade-in price changed everything. I had to recalculate. I needed my husband as an advisor (he was at work) and I told them that I will leave and come back to close the deal in January like initially planned . They got all pissed. I was asked to speak to the General manager who was supposed to help me and find a solution. He actually threatened me that if I leave the dealership, and the car arrives in December, he can sell to anyone. He said I can't hold it for you, I can't guarantee you anything. I said, but I made $5000 deposit, and we have a contract. Doesn't that mean anything? He discarded that and said I will give you your deposit back. At that point I am shaking uncontrollably, this was the least expected outcome of buying a $80K vehicle. I meant NOTHING to this people. 0 customer service!!! In the general manager's office were few other men from BMW and me. I should've walked away and ordered the car some place else. But I didn't have the luxury to wait another 2-3 months. I kept my old car (refused to trade it in) and had to completely rearrange my finances (new check for downpayment etc). The problems continued when later on they send the title to a wrong address. It tool 4 months to get the title signed. I had to drive with 2 temporary license plates and additional extensions. Complete mess. Let my review be a warning sign to everyone who walks into this evil place. You will be meeting with the most brutal salespeople. The beautiful SUV makes up for some of this bitter experience. But no one deserves such a bad experience. Find another BMW dealership;))

A BMW is a BMW

The people are great but don’t have to get your car serviced. I took my car to see why the engine oil warning message keep coming on when I had recently had it changed. They guy told me I would have to leave my car…. For a week! Because they are the only BMW dealer close to me I did. I called them maybe 5 days later because I didn’t hear anything and was told my car hadn’t been looked yet and that it would be another week! I asked about a loaner, the guy said where did you get your car- really sir. I said Florida, I was living in Florida when I purchased it. He said oh we can’t loan cars to people who didn’t purchase their car from Brian Harris! That was the dumbest answer and why does that matter a BMW is a BMW! long story short they had my car for 3 weeks for something so simple I had to get a rental car. Next time I will be going to Kenner

Good dealership and helpful service advisors

Service advisors do a good job helping customers. However, the long lead times to get simple services such as oil changes are unacceptable. My service advisor, Rick Townley was very helpful to cut the red tape and get my oil change done in less than 2 weeks.

Waste of Time!!!!!

I waited 2weeks for a service appointment. They kept my car 24 hours and never touched it. They lied about loners. Two customers were getting a loaner when I dropped my car off. I was told they did not carry loners anymore because of decrease inventory. Just pure lies. I will never bring my car back!!!!!!!!!. I was told they may have to keep it a week, but they never even put in on the machine to get it diagnosis it sat there for 1day. Why tell me to bring it in then if nobody will touch and it will just sit. This is so unfortunate. All money spends it doesn't matter the race, color, gender, or nationality of the person who's spending it. Just a disgrace.

Lt Marvin

Hey I'm new just bought a used BMW. Overall the staff is very helpful so far so good, but I was told by a independent mechanic that my spark plugs needed changeing 5 days after purchase.I called the service department and the guy told me 700 dollars to change. Noticed car burning a lot of gas after filling up I called service manager and he said car is not use to my driveing style.Im a disabled veteran and can't afford to fix those problems right away.

Love Brian Harris!!

Had a wonderful buying experience with Neil, super nice guy and very informative, was not pushy at all! Would buy again with him in a heartbeat. Neil showed us several different models and made sure we were completely satisfied.

My sales lady was great!

The lady who sold me my suv not only knew everything about the vehicle but made me very comfortable when I was in her office. Joshalyn was awesome

Service managers and technicians are very professional. I really like the video inspection done by the technician. All repairs are thoroughly explained. The service area and waiting area are awesome.
