SERVICE NIGHTMARE

I took my El Cajon NISSAN truck in to Andy Fisher as I needed a vehicle speed sensor as it malfunction during a Smog Check. Andy said no problem he could replace it. $150 estimate. Andy calls me said he needs car till Aug 8 and it would cost $685.10—AND then said his tech noted speedometer needed rebuilding and reinstalled. NOW ANDY FISHER SAID $1200 and everything would work great. Well today Feb 2020 my truck has been into El Cajon 4 times To get Speedometer to work ALL. THE TIME NOT rarely works. I have video and a passenger watching that the speedometer rare works. $1200 I’m paid them but they can’t fix it. I offered to split the cost which is wrong but they keep saying bringing it in will get it done. My speedometer is not getting fixed by a Nissan mechanic they have been sending it out to someone else. I have every Government agency trying to help but Andy and his boss Elijah said no on any agreement. Finally I talk to The Ref great government agency -nothing but support.The Ref tells me the part they need is discontinued.

We are sorry to hear that you are disappointed in your experience with us. We have done everything that we can, we diagnosed your vehicle and let you know what issues we found. You opted for us to replace the speed sensor and because the part is not available for the speedometer you approved to have it sent to the manufacturer of that part to have it repaired by them. Which is why a Nissan mechanic is not working on it, we are having it handled by the proper party responsible for that part. We understand it must have been frustrating to have to bring the vehicle back immediately because there was a problem shortly after your vehicle was returned to you. We did resolve that concern for you and you let us know everything was working for months. Then you brought it back to us 4 months after the initial repair stating it was working intermittently. We warrantied the speed sensor for you, had the work inspected on your speedometer and were unable to duplicate the problem of it not working. Since then you have reported that it is not working intermittently and we have requested the opportunity to inspect our work and have the repaired part inspected again to see if there are any problems with the work that we have done for you. There is nothing further that we can do at this time without the opportunity to check the work.

I recommend this dealership!

I had a very nice experience at the Mossy Nissan El Cajon dealership yesterday. Marcos was the ideal salesman. He was knowledgeable, attentive, but not pushy. I also appreciate both Vince and Travis working hard to get me the best deal. I am thoroughly pleased. Would buy from here again.

2nd Platinum Maxima

As a 2009 Maxima owner with a platinum package, I was looking for a used 2018-2109 Maxima with a specific interior left with a New 2020 car with better everything. Staff was super friendly from the moment I got there to the moment I left. They went looking for the vehicle I wanted and went over above and beyond to make me happy. Great atmosphere overall.

Don't just depend on what they tell you because they won't tell you all the important information you need to know.

Great experience at Mossy Nissan

Went in and bought a 2019 Nissan Frontier SV 2wd at this location. I already had a loan through my bank but even if I didn't I feel all around the experience and time I had would have gone just as smoothly as it did when I was there. Derek and Manny were very friendly, proffessional, considerate, straight forward, and helpful during the entire process. If and when I buy another vehicle (which most likely won't happen for a very long time considering what I bought) I will go back to the same spot. Couldn't have asked for a better car buying experience.
