Valvoline Oil had stripped out the bolt on my oil pan, so they agreed to have Herb Chambers replace it. When I got my quote they told me that I needed... to replace the gaskets on the oil filter and engine also. Ever since I drove into the service department the only issue I had was with the oil pan bolt being stripped. Now I'm having issues with the front end and the 2 gaskets. I which I never went to Valvoline and also never went to Herb Chambers to have it repared, because now the vehicle runs like xxxx and before all this it was running perfect.
Been servicing my car here for 5 years, and can not imagine going somewhere else for service. Simple fact that Matthew Krappe is there present makes me... feel very comfortable with all the services needed. Matt, the moment I see you behind the desk I know I'm in extra good hands. An absolute asset to the dealership. Your knowledge, professionalism, politeness, and desire to help others are the reason why I continue servicing my car with the BMW Herb Chambers. Came in for regular oil change and technician noticed oil pan problem due to previous oil change being torqued to tight . Service advisor Nick M asked... me when was the last time I got serviced and I explained it was the first and he asked where it was done and where I bought the car. He actually was familiar with the establishment where I purchased my vehicle and went above and beyond and called them to explain the situation where the company was able to pay for the service. Nick turned my day into a good day rather than a stressful day by going above and beyond.

I trust the expertise of the techs who work on my BMW. What needs to be repaired or replaced, what to watch for, etc. Keeping the car safe and well-serviced.is... what BMW techs have done for me.. William C. was thorough and the odd car behaviors/noises that I'd noticed but not told James Gibbons about were picked up on by William C. and dealt with. The car drives beautifully now. No shudder when I step on the brake hard, and even the tiny 'fan whine' has vanished. So, from major issues to minor ones, William C. ferreted them all out and fixed all of them. He knows BMWs. James Gibbons was pleasant and professional and kept me informed on the car's service requirements, progress, and quotes for the work. (Disappointed the loaner requested when I made the appt was not available when I brought the car in for service Monday morning. James Gibbons called Wed . and said a loaner had become available. However, by then I had made other arrangements and cancelled appts.)

My husband and I would like to recognize the following individuals for outstanding service: Abdou Merrheb who identified the vehicles suitable to our needs... and within our price range; Jasper Abreu who helped with financing and warranty information. My husband suffered a stroke 1 year into a 3 year lease and we lost a great deal of money due packages we purchased at the outset and by holding onto a vehicle that he could not drive for 1 yr of the 3 year lease. We approached the end of the lease unhappily for these reasons. In addition, our current financial circumstance is not what it was 3 years ago. However, my husband's aspirations for another BMW haven't changed. Due to Abdou's responsive, humanistic approach to customer service, we purchased a vehicle that my husband is proud to drive and that we can afford. Abdou was extremely supportive to us from the beginning to the end of the process and patient with my husband's language difficulties. With Jasper Abreu's help, we achieved an affordable monthly payment that provides adequate protection from unanticipated financial costs, whether mechanical or accident related. He also waited for us at the end of his shift one evening! The team effort between these two gentleman during the course of one week, along the efforts of Mark Lande at the conclusion, made the dreaded car purchase process one that I was happy with! Our experience left us with a good feeling about these men and, therefore, about the dealership!
As usual, I was very happy with the sales department. This is the "FIFTH" BMW that I got from Herb Chambers in Boston, MA. I always had a wonderful experience... with the service department and sales department. My only comment is that it is very sad that an organization who hires such a wonderful people in its sales and service departments, hires people in its finance department who are not professional and above all know nothing about the finance and treating the customers. My sophomore students know more about finance that they do. My experience in the past dozens of years dealing with Herb Chamber in Boston is that the quality of the people in the finance department has gone done exponentially. The reason might be the good economy that the high quality people all got better jobs.
