This is the 2nd VW I purchased from Minuteman, so obviously my first experience was good (still driving the Jetta). Tim, Shawn and John were great to work with: no pressure, provided a lot of information, clear on timing and meeting their commitments. I purchased the new electric ID4. I would recommend them if you are looking for a new vehicle

Very pleased with my experience purchasing a vehicle from Minuteman VW, Sales person Tim Bishop was very engaging and helpful from the time I met him. He answered each of my questions and involved other Minuteman personnel when needed. He worked to insure that I would have the car prior to the Thanksgiving weekend. I have no difficulty recommending Miniuteman and Mr. Bishop.

Minuteman has been my dealership for about 15 years. I needed a car in a hurry and was driving it 24 hours later. Staff was businesslike but cordial and worked to get me in the car I wanted/needed.

Eric was very helpful in assisting me with my new Atlas.
Eric was very helpful in assisting me with my new Atlas. Everything worked perfect except a tiny mistake, but Eric and Shawn solved the problem quickly so I could get my car without too long delay. And the business manager John is great too. Overall, I was very satisfied with the service and highly recommend Minuteman Volkswagen and Eric!

Lacking honesty
Unfortunately had a terrible experience trying to purchase a gti from this dealer. On the initial appointment we agreed to terms for the car including the trade in of my leased vehicle. The dealer even had us make a 1000 deposit to hold the car till my wife could get free to sign the final paperwork and later ran our credit via their request via text. When we came on the second visit to finalize the paperwork my wife and I had to bring our two young children along. The sales person came to meet us and the deal paperwork showed a monthly payment figure that was $45 higher than agreed upon. When I asked why the figures were so off he claimed that the initial calculation included a sales tax credit that they mistakenly added to my initial agreed upon offer. I find it hard to believe that an honest dealership (where the salesman also called audi financial right in front of me to receive the buyout amount on my lease on the first appointment) would make such an error. It was apparent at the second appointment that they just tried to get me to pay a higher monthly amount on the vehicle and tried to convince me that adding more down payment would get me to our originally agreed upon price. When negotiating a car purchase I am upfront and honest. I do not try to "beat" the dealer. I just want a deal that both sides can be happy with and move on with my life. I just wish the dealer would have reciprocated the same respect rather than wasting hours of my family's time.
