Great Used Car Buying Experience With Rich Swanson

We recently had a great experience purchasing a used car at Ira Toyota in Danvers. Our salesperson was Rich Swanson and he was fantastic. He was very professional and knowledgeable and walked us through the used car purchase from beginning to end. He was open and honest and there was no stress or added pressure to purchase the vehicle which was greatly appreciated. He promptly answered and returned all phone calls and texts. Rich even came in on his day off that make sure there were no issues with the final sales documents and that some minor repairs were completed to our satisfaction. He also had no problem personally delivering the car to our home which was about 1.5 hours away as we had run into scheduling problems picking the car up. Rich was first class all the way and we highly respect and admire him. Thank you Rich for all of your help with the purchase of our car and thank you for your prior years of service in the military! It was a pleasure meeting you and doing business with Ira Toyota in Danvers!

Terrible experience!

Terrible experience!😡👎🏾 So I booked an appointment with Toyota in December right before Xmas to get my door handle fixed. I showed up & this guy (Rojas he knows who he is) was so rude & disrespectful.😡😡 Mind you I was with my wife and my one year old. The guy took the car for about 3 hours & never gave us an update so I went back to the service area and asked what’s going on? & when I finally got a response from Rojas he said it would cost me over 600 $ btw I got it fixed for about 300bucks! That guy was clearly trying to up sell me on everything he sent me like whole list of things I needed to get done. So when I told him it’s ok can I have my car back? He was so mad & didn’t want to talk to me after that. So he made us wait for another hour & a half just to get the car back. Mind you we have a baby that’s crying & had to pick up my 3 year old daughter from daycare by 6. we’ve been there since 1 pm & didn’t leave until 5 something close to 6. and Immediately I got in the car the car felt different it wasn’t driving like it usually does. Fast forward to a week later my heat stop working! My car is over heat. Now my car won’t even start had to get it towed cause it stopped right in the middle of the highway. Mind you there was nothing wrong with the car prior to that just had an oil changed there not too long ago when they were trying to sell me tires and bunch of other crap I didn’t need. All they do is trying to hustle you. It’s definitely a turn off & bad for business. I used to be happy bringing my car there but after my last experience, I’M SO DONE. & I’m getting the impression that customer service and car service Quality has decreased. I def plan to go somewhere else where they treat people a little better & better car services and for a better price. I suggest that others do the same, the service there is not what it used to be. Thanks Toyota for ruining my car!! & thanks Rojas this one is on you!!! NEVER GOING BACK! & I Have receipt for proof ROJAS!! Ps. I did have one good experience when I went there the 1st time ( with Tyler Simmons) I did post a good review but had to take it down because I haven’t had any good experience after that! & David Rojas was my last straw! ✌🏾👎🏾

Thanks for getting back to me & I’m sorry I had to post a bad review about your business, but the way we were treated was totally unacceptable.I had an appointment at 2:00 we showed up at 1 something just to make sure there’d be no issues, they took the car around 1:30 ish didn’t get an update until 3:53, mr Rojas never came to check on us or anything!!! I had to go look for him for an update and when I saw the amount he was charging I said I’m all set & his tone suddenly changed. When I asked him for the car back he said the car is far away in another building ( his exact word) it’s going to take some time… are you kidding me??? Meanwhile I have a 14 month old baby fussing & crying because we’ve been there for hours for nothing!!! & another kid to pick up from daycare that’s 40 minutes away. Which I told him but didn’t seem to care at all. Now a week later my engine seized!!! when I had no issues with the car, What a coincidence!!! btw you have cameras check you’ll see how long we were there FOR NOTHING!! & when he gave me the keys he just said here you go!! Free of charge !!! What a joke!! *******************************************I’ve been there before and the guys were super nice & professional! I left you guys a 5 star review but had to take it down because of this!!! Mind you I live 40 minutes away I still come to your place so if my first experience was bad I wouldn’t have come again. I’m sorry but your employee needs better training instead of trying to make excuses for him! Peace!!!

Great Service - Secured a 2022 Corolla Quick!

When my older car finally had repair needs worth more than the car itself this past September, I was in desperate need for a car as soon as possible. I reached out to Toyota of Danvers and immediately received a response. Their communication was quick and excellent, and I was able to schedule an appointment to view their availability within a couple of days. I can't thank Abdou enough for his outstanding service in helping me find and secure a new car within just a week. He understood that I was looking for a new car and did not try to sell me used car. His dedication to finding the perfect vehicle for me was truly exceptional, and he worked tirelessly to make sure all the details were taken care of quickly. He was always professional, knowledgeable, and patient, and I really appreciated his honest and straightforward approach. I will definitely be recommending Abdou to anyone looking for a new car for his hard work and excellent service. I also had a great experience working with Jesus on my car purchase. He was very friendly and helpful from start to finish, and made the process of signing the contract quick and efficient. Excellent Service Department

Excellent service hours , very clear explanation of service required and recommended, and great explanation of service completed. The service waiting room and bathrooms are extremely clean, and the internet provided allows computer work without interruption. Very pleased with the service department

We have been loyal Ira Toyota customers for over 25 years

We have been loyal Ira Toyota customers for over 25 years and about 15 vehicles.went in about 3 months ago bought a new Camry and set a deal to lease another RAV4 / car was not in stock and the car we were turning in had less than 12,000 miles on it . Had a deal on paper we would get the new vehicle plus $3,500 with payments of about $380/ car came in we showed up yesterday and they pulled the deal off the table we could take the $3500 check but the monthly payments would be $485 over 3 years that’s comes to just about $3500 / we ended up taking no money and payments of $374 ! Very disappointed and let Carl the salesman and Mike the manager we will no longer be doing business with Ira Toyota again! The funny thing was during the 4 months we waited for the vehicle Toyota did not have or we would have had the deal completed 4 months ago they removed our loyalty points !so much for 25 years and 15 vehicles! I have consulted a lawyer to take a look.This is the only negative experience We have had but we’re humiliated and disrespected / rating has always been 5 star but 1 star after our final visit
