This is my first Toyota purchase and the "car buying" experience was excellent. We dealt directly with a sales manager on the pricing rather than waiting for the sales person to run back and forth during the negotiation process (which has been my experience with Honda). Our sales person was Ricky Arora who brings customer service to a new level. Ricky was very professional, polite, patient and knowledgeable of the Toyota products. The sales manager, Lewis, was very reasonable to work with. In addition, Lewis was also very professional, polite, patient and knowledgeable. I told Lewis throughout the process that they had earned a customer for life based on how well the overall process went. We also purchased a new car for my wife because she was so pleased with the available options in the Toyota products and Ricky was very helpful in her decision making process. Finally, Melissa was the business/finance manager we dealt with who was fantastic. I would highly recommend IRA Toyota in Danvers on route 114.

The staff was very friendly and knowledgable. Even on a Scion purchase, which most people don't know is a "No Hassle" sale (meaning everyone pays the same price), they worked with the maker of my Trade to get me the best price for my trade in. I feel like I got the best deal I could get anywhere and I love the car.

Staff knew their stuff and helped made the trade-in as smooth as possible. They were able to get my monthly payments on my new Scion tc to a lower level unlike another dealership I visited prior to coming to Ira. I appreciated how honest the staff was and how clean and comfortable the place was.

I got to IRA Toyota via an excellent, Claifornia-based car buying service called Carsala. So my rating does not include any experience with the price-negotiation phase of the process. Ricky Arora picked up completion of the sale after that and raised the bar for me forever for what I should expect from a car dealer. He was responsive, timely, efficient, hardworking, and could teach master classes in customer service. His attention to detail, concern for how we were experiencing the buying process was remarkable. Even when things at the dealership got very busy and he had to attend to other customers he went out of his way to tell us what we were waiting for, why, and for how long. No longer will I believe that the structure of the car industry "forces" car dealers to be the way the are typically viewed. Ricky proves that even within the difficult business model most car dealers work under, one can still be a caring, customer focused human being who acts with integrity. The reason for my "4" rating" on overall experience had nothing to do with the salesperson, but with the final stage of the process with the business manager. He was also great personally--friendly, respectful, interested--but I didn't appreciate the way that phase of the process is structured--where huge quantities of complex and expensive options are presented, with financing rates tied to what options, if any, are chosen. This is NOT a criticism of the business manager, but of an industry-wide business model that puts pressure to consider and buy complex options right at the tail end of the process when what one really wants to do is get the keys and go! (Next time I'll know to research the price of options from other dealers and sources before going to closing.) I would absolutely recommend Ira Toyota to friends and colleagues--and hope that Ricky could go to work running customer service standards and training for the industry!

If you want to be treated as a new car buyer, if you want to be cared, go straight to this dealership and ask for Ricky. Believe me guys I visited so many dealerships before walking into IRA Toyota, but I found no one as professional as Ricky. My experience with other dealers: I am a first time shopper for new car trying to trade in my old car.Everyone wants to sell you their car but they show no respect to your interests or the concerns. Even they try to bully you in case if you walk out without closing any deal. You will be one guy facing 4 sales people who plays aggressive sales tactics, and they don't let you go easily. I stopped thinking of new car after spending all my weekend visiting dealerships. My experience with IRA Toyota, Danvers: I gave my last shot with this dealership. I wouldn't say this dealership is so special then any but I can assure you that Ricky makes all that difference. He is exceptionally customer service oriented. All the time I am dealing with only one person (Ricky), not like the other dealerships where the sales guy brings his manager and again he brings couple of more people. I would surely recommend this dealership and Ricky to everyone. If it is not Ricky I dealt with on my last chance, I would still be driving my old car because of the amount of headache I had with all other dealers. Thanks to Ricky.

Right from the beginning, Chris Okafor had been very friendly. And any question I had about the dealer and/or the car I was looking for, Chris was very quick in getting the answers that I need. Michael was also friendly and professional in his role. He did explain all the options that I could have.

OUTSTANDING!!! The overall climate of the dealership was friendly and the salespeople and managers seemed to genuinely like each other. I've been to other dealerships and they act like they're doing you a favor just talking to you. Ricky listened to me and responded to my needs like no other salesman I've ever worked with. No pressure, he behaved as though I was the only customer in the dealership. I came back several times before I made a decision and they were always pleasant and worked with me diligently in order to arrive at a deal that worked for all of us. I will definitely use this dealership and Ricky specifically the next time I'm in the market for a new car and will recommend him to all of my friends.

When I went looking to buy a car, the first person to approach me was Luis Hernadez. He made me feel very comfortable and was willing to work with me on the price of the car and the trade in of my cadillac. I was also very pleased with Louis Rylant he was also a great help.
