Purchased a new sienna from Smithfield Toyota

Smithfield of Toyota is the best place to buy car. we bought our sienna there last week. Elle is an excellent salesperson. she helped us through entire process. we highly recommend her to other friends.

Great customer service! Worked with me.

They worked with my budget and payment capabilities! Lots of services to offer for my used car, which surprised me. Transaction was very easy and I was very well informed of the entire process. Sales person (Ellianne) was very accommodating and super friendly. Very pleased!

Body moulding poor

1st had wrong color moulding had to reschedule. When they did apply moulding at 2nd appointment they did not do it to the factory specs. It was a Toyota Highlander. Disappointed.

Excellent selection and service

I showed up looking for a new Tacoma after hearing about them on the radio. (Previously I had my recalls fixed here also the service dept is great). Mike Essig helped me out from the get go, and although I wanted a different truck they had on the website, it was sold. But that didn’t deter Mike, without being pushy or fitting the typical car salesman idea, he found a truck that a) fit in my budget, b)was a better overall truck for my job(construction) c) made the overall process fun and enjoyable. I haven’t bought a car in over 8 years because I dreaded the process. But Mike made me so glad I came in. The financial aspect Sam made the process smooth and easy to understand. I used my own bank and they had no problem with that and still made the process smooth and easy.

Excellent experience

Mike our sales associate was excellent and I would recommend him to others. Through the entire process (initial interview, test drives, final purchase, and registration) he was Knowledgeable, thorough, and communicative. Mike listened to our feedback and delivered past our expectations without being pushy. I plan to buy my next car from Toyota Smithfield and Mike.

I purchased a 2016 Scion IM from this dealer in February...

I purchased a 2016 Scion IM from this dealer in February of 2020. I wasn't planning on it honestly. I saw an add for the car online, went for a drive debating with myself or rather or not to go to dealer. Especially the dealership was an hour drive away. I showed up to the dealer without an appointment and to make a long story short, with in a few hours between the test drive, talking with the finance department, I was out the door with my new car. The whole experience at this dealer was worth the drive. It was the most pleasant experience I ever had dealing with a car dealership. They gave the facts, told me my options and I drove away feeling confident about my purchase. James Forte is a good salesmen who didn't pressure me at all. My biggest issue with it comes to any dealer is the pressure they put you under when buying a car. They were some negotiating as to be expected with any big purchase but it wasn't to the point where it was bad or off putting. I'm beyond happy with my wonderful experience at this dealership. Jim McKenna whom is their sales manager; him and I had two phone calls about the experience and I had some questions that I forgot to ask the day I bought the car. He answered them pleasantly and made me feel welcomed with the whole conversation. I can't get over how great the overall experience was with this dealership and I recommend anyone to go here for their car buying needs. It's been almost a year since I've bought my car here and I get my car serviced at this dealership everytime. I drive all the way from Chatham (Cape Cod) which is nearly 1 hour and 45 minutes away and the drive is worth it everytime. The dealership and service department go above and beyond to take care of my car needs. And when it comes time to get a new car, this will be the only dealership I'll ever do business with. I can't say enough positive things about this dealership.

Incompetent

Toyota of Smithfield is INCOMPETENT in resolving the problems they create. Purchased a vehicle in December 2019. They submitted the incorrect VIN number so the title and registration are incorrect. The incorrect number was discovered upon servicing the vehicle in early November 2020. The registration expired on December 1st and was not renewed because the title was incorrect due to the wrong VIN number. We notified them of this situation on November 4th. Since then -2 months- we have made countless number of calls to them, Toyota Corporate, RIDMV, and Toyota Finance snd still no resolution. More than 5 weeks since we’ve be able to use the car because the registration was suspended. General Manager has never responded to a certified letter, staff have passed the buck and we still have no car to use. DO NOT EVER BUY A CAR FROM TOYOTA OF SMITHFIELD.

Nick is a very nice young man, knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. A good salesman, assertive but not pushy. He is an asset to Toyota of Smithfield.
