Lied to about price
We bought a brand new truck at this dealer. Confirmed with the salesman the price of the truck. When we got home and looked at the paperwork he had added $2000 to the actual ticketed price! I contacted him and he tried to say it was our finance charge and warranty charge. I then emailed him pictures of the sticker price and what he charged us. He claims he gave us a great deal on our trade in and that is why we paid more on our truck. xxx?! Tried to speak to a manager but they NEVER returned my call. So unprofessional and sneaky. And car salesmen wonder why they have a bad reputation.

Toyota of Smithfield is where I buy all my cars. The only salesman I use is Mike Essig whom I highly recommend. I have been with him since my first ever new vehicle purchase. Excellent dealership. The process was excellent from start to finish!! This was my 5th car from Toyota Of Smithfield in 8 years and Mike has been my salesmen each and every time. They truly do follow though and respect/appreciate the loyal customers. Medhi in financing was also excellent to work with and made the financial process just as easy and smooth as Mike did in the car selling process. Excellent dealership that I would recommend to anyone and I would DEFINITELY by again from this dealership. Thank you!!

Excellent Buying Experience - Would Do it Again!
My wife and I were in the market for a used, late model Toyota Highlander Hybrid. After writing off several offering at dealers relatively close to us (we're on Cape Cod), we decided to look farther afield, and reached out to Toyota of Smithfield, two hours away and in another state. We were so impressed by the informative responses Amanda and Nadine provided to our question about current inventories, and purchasing a car out of state that we took the plunge and drove the two hours to check out ToS's offerings. We're glad we did. Nadine hooked us up with Ari Brooks, who proved to be exceptionally knowledgeable about the Highlander line, and personable as well. Ari reviewed several available upgrade options without ever being pushy, and got us the price we wanted on our trade-in to complete the deal. Mehdi in Finance was the model of efficiency preparing the paper work and walking us through how ToS assists customers with out of state purchases. Taylor was likewise quick to handle the arrangements with our insurance company. My wife is eyeing a Rav 4 as her next car, and I have no doubt we will be darkening ToS's doorstep in the near future.

Awful customer service!
The customer service of this dealership and service department is abysmal. Recall work took 2 weeks longer than what was originally said and then they went completely back on their word to return truck to my father and pick up the loaner from his house. The loaner ( a 2020 model) wouldn't start over the weekend, and we were unable to contact anyone at the dealership to address it! Basically had a tough crap attitude about it. Just awful!

Sale Pending
I just bought a used 08 Trailblazer from them a few days ago. I did my research on this dealership and was hesitant to buy due to all the bad reviews voicing the same concerns/complaints. Overall I have had a good experience so far. Ronnie was the salesman I've been dealing with and so far I have no complaints at all, in fact I think he did a pretty killer job. I was told the vehicle would probably be ready tomorrow and I will update and finish this review once I get my vehicle. Stay tuned for more

First Time Buying a Car
I had a great experience buying a used car. The sales consultant, Juan Dominguez, helped me with a test drive of the vehicle. When I came back the following day to purchase the car, he ended up staying at the dealership till 10pm to help me! Overall, I am very happy with the purchase and look forward to interacting with them in the future.

Bought brand new Rav4 and now have mice
I have purchased a new Camery 2 years ago and just traded it in for a new Rav4. The sales people never helped turn on gps program on car(1st problem)...Wanted a trailer hitch and they told me they would call me by the end of the day to set up appointment (never called...3 days later I called them and they knew nothing---problem 2) Problem 3 was the day of the hitch being on, they sent me to a counter to get help and no one was there. They told me to wait and the woman was coming. A half hour later I went to another person and found out that the woman was not even in. Someone else took me but never called when work was done. Then gas light went off in suv saying the gas was low but after filling it up the gadget started saying it was low and that my back hatchback was not shut. Shut back several times till light went off. Gas light still stayed on and blinked low gas (even with gas filled) called the service and told them what happened...closes day of repair was a week ...someone was supposed to call me about driving Rav but never did. Never called me about service on SUV...called and left a message a 5 pm....called me back at 5:30 saying they where still working on it. Called me at 6:15-6:30 to tell me a mouse ate threw wires and that the damage was my fault and I needed to take this up with my insurance......I HAD FOR 4 WEEKS and one week it was in my garage waiting to be fixed. I would never go to Smithfield again.
