Took my car in for routine oil change and the mechanic...

Took my car in for routine oil change and the mechanic checked my transmission and never put the seal back on . We were on the highway and my car just shut down, we were lucky not to be killed. Majestic would not own up to the negligence of the mechanics mistakes. Honda nor the dealership would help me out. The service manger blamed me , a 58 year old woman, he said I touched the transmission. Needless to say my daughter wrote a review and that was the only way they called me back . The service manager asked me to take the review off. He replied to the review that they were helping me resolve the problem with Honda. No they did absolutely NOTHING to help me and I had to pay $4500 dollars out of my pocket to fix my transmission. DO NOT LET MAJESTIC HONDA DO WORK TO YOUR VEHICLE!!!!! Now they are Belise Honda .

I took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation....

I took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. Drove the car home about 15 miles and when I went to do an errand, oil light came on and the car died in an intersection. Had to tow car back to the dealer. TWO weeks later and 30 hours worth of labor and I was told they got plastic in my engine. Yes they fixed it but they had my car for 2 weeks and I got nothing but attitude when my husband for I wanted to check and see what happened. I understand that mistakes happen but it is how you handle them. I was so upset about the whole ordeal and now knowing what was going on with my perfectly running car when I brought it in it made me sick. The arrogance of the service manager regarding accountability is laughable. Your people made a mistake!!!!

Kristen

I was looking to trade in an older Pontiac and get into a newer vehicle. Brian and Kylie were a lot of fun and made the experience easy.

Lease trade in

Barbara and Katrina were amazing. Helped us from start to finish in choosing the best new car for me. Super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They were also great with our toddler since he was there for the process. Will definitely be back for future needs.

Bait and switch

Spent two days by e-mail with Katrina finding a car and agreeing to a price. Told her I'd be down Monday to pay for it, she never asked for a deposit over the phone and when l got there they said that somehow it had been sold the day before. The salesperson also scoffed at the price offered and said that manager who offered such a price wasn't here right now and that they shouldn't have offered me that price to begin with. Then the other manager Joe came out, said there was nothing he could do but offer me the lesser EX-L model for $2000 more than our agreed upon price or the Elite for over $4000 more. They also said that this car l was supposed to buy wasn't even on this lot and that it was at their Warwick location. If that's true and you knew l was coming down why let me waste a trip to Lincoln? So either Joe and Katrina are completely incompetent or it was a classic bait and switch. The worst part is the next day l see the same car still listed for sale on their website and l e-mailed again to someone else and they confirmed that it was still available. Despicable tactics at this place. I ended up driving to a competitor of theirs and they not only made good on the price, but l got an Elite instead of a Touring. So it worked out eventually after this place wasted my morning. Buyer beware here.

Classic bait and switch. Horrible customer service.

This dealership lives up to every bad car dealer stereotype you can imagine. I had been back and forth e-mailing Katrina for 3 days about what 2019 Passports were available, and time was a factor because I wanted to take advantage of the Honda loyalty $1000 incentive that expired today, January 6th. We agreed to a price for a Touring model and I told her I would be in Monday to complete the transaction. She never asked for a deposit or anything and said it would all be ready to go. I drove 45 minutes to the dealership this morning, sat down with a salesperson and Katrina came over to greet me. The salesperson told me that they had sold the exact car that I was there to buy the day before (Sunday) and that they didn't have any others available. The manager Joe came over and offered no apology, just said, "it's gone there's nothing we can do." His version of customer service was to offer me a lesser model EX-L for over $2000 more than what we had agreed upon the day before. Or I could get an Elite for over $4000 more. Nothing was done or offered to make it right. Meanwhile the exact car that allegedly sold on Sunday is still available for sale on their website. Absolutely despicable tactics. All I got was a half-hearted, "Sorry we didn't have your car. Have a great day," e-mail from Katrina an hour after we left. I ended up getting a fully loaded Elite in the color I wanted from Lundgren Honda in Auburn for only $500 more than they wanted me to pay for the much lower end EX-L. I am not a huge fan of Lundgren Honda from a previous experience there, but they made up for it this time. Unforgivable business practices here at Majestic. Buyer beware!

Used car purchase

Mike D. was our salesperson and was very easy to deal with. We received a fair price on both the used vehicle purchased as well as the trade-in. We continue to purchase from Majestic (this is the fifth car we've bought there) due to our past experiences of pricing and customer service.

Completely misrepresented repair

Went in to have a couple system alerts checked out on my Odyssey. Was told that I needed to have the spark plugs replaced (which is what I was figuring would be the case) and that it was $400. I asked why it was so high, and he said that the spark plugs were $40 each. I had never heard of ANY plugs costing that much, so I asked if there were other options. He said he ones I was getting were platinum plugs, and if I used iridium plugs I was going to notice a substantial decrease in performance. I decided to let them go ahead and do the repair, which went fine. However, later in the day I looked up the plugs that they gave me, and they were iridium! I emailed the service manager, and all I got was "I'm not sure why he told you they were platinum plugs." His claim of a "deal" is that they didn't charge me the diagnostic fee, which I have a feeling they wouldn't have charged me for anyway assuming they completed the service. Anyway, I called around to other Honda dealers later, and the highest price for the same plugs I got was $28. Absolute joke and ripoff. Don't get your car serviced here if you want to pay an ungodly amount for parts, and not get told exactly what they are using.
