Terrible buying experience with this dealership.

Terrible buying experience with this dealership. After they misunderstood the deal I had from a competing dealer, they accused me of having a fake deal that would not be delivered by the other dealer. They wasted my time, were unprofessional and condescending. I took delivery on 2 cars later that week with a deal Scott was unwilling to match.

I had a mysterious issue with a loud noise every time I drove my car and it had it serviced by someone named (Shawn? Sean?) and he figured it out and was very honest and didn’t overcharge me- which is rare to find in the city. Fixed it with an affordable price and an extremely friendly attitude

I was ther on Friday 3-29-24 to look at a 2024 Volkswagon

I was ther on Friday 3-29-24 to look at a 2024 Volkswagon Atlas Cross Sport. I wanted the white one, and was told it was in transit. So they had a metallic silver. My salesperson was Dennis Holley. Both Dennis and the Business Manager James were excellent, they were honest and respectful and very professional. We were not able to do the deal on the purchase on 3-29. I did get frustrated the next morning and decided to wait until I saw the white Atlas which is due to be arriving in 3 weeks. They did call me on 3-30 morning to grant me what I had offered for the Silver Metallic. I changed my mind mostly because of the color. I'm hoping to see the white Atlas when it arrives and hopefully we can make the same deal. Again I just wanted to thank James and Dennis for their customer service and professionalism. I highly reccomend Scott's Volkswagon.

We got received such incredible service here and were met with kindness, transparency and speed...not to mention a much lower cost than originally quoted. I am not one to write reviews, but I was really blown away by our experience here recently!

drove 1.5 hours to test drive a car I only for them to tell me it sold via online sale while I was on the test drive with cash in hand. Nothing was done to make things right. Was just told sorry no longer available. Horrible business practice from a horrible business with xxxx poor priorities.

HORRIBLE! THE OWNER KIM IS A LIAR! DON'T GO THERE!

Just an overall horrible experience. 3 months ago I got an oil change. I was told that my computer needed an update. My car was running perfectly! I even said that to the service guy. He said it doesn't matter. It shows that my door isn't working and I need the update to fix my door. I honestly had no idea what they were talking about. I had the update done. Since then car has been running like crap. All warning signs on my dash. I called up Scotts and had to make another appointment for another update to fix my door and fix the dash. Honestly I was so confused after all this. All I know is my car was running perfectly until I went for an oil change 3 months ago. Whatever they did my car screwed it up. So while my car is getting fixed again. ( I had to wait 3 months because I went away) I brought my car to hopefully finally get everything fixed. My car is a lease and I've been going to Scott Volkswagen for over 10 years. This is how they treat their loyal customers. They call me up and say my oil change battery was eaten by rodents and it's going to cost me 200 bucks to change the wire. You heard that correctly, 200 bucks to change one wire. On a lease mind you. On a car that was running perfectly fine until this update crap. They did this to my wire! I said no way am I paying 200 bucks to change one wire for a car that was running perfectly and it's a lease. I told the service guy I'm going to call Kim the owner and hopefully she'll straighten it out. Kim " the great" didn't want to hear it. She gives me this ridiculous story how Volkswagen uses a peanut butter oil based coating on their wires. Why in God's name with Volkswagen use a peanut butter oil that will attract rodents I have no idea. People this story is true. I'm not BS'ing. I told him if you guys don't fix my wire and I don't have to pay the 200 bucks. I'm going to go on every review platform and all the good reviews I made of you guys I'm taking them away and I'm going to make horrible reviews. Kim said and I quote, " I'm keeping your car." Then hung up on my face. I had to call back and speak to Tanya and threaten them that if Kim doesn't give me my car back I'm going to show up with the police to get my car back. Tanya went and talked to Kim and convince him that she's making a mistake to give me my car back. Kim has already lied responding to my Yelp review saying she never threatened to keep my car. She's a pathetic liar! She knows what she said. If you were the owner of a company and you knew you had a customer that didn't go to any other dealership and bought all your cars from you would you make them spend $200 to change an oil change wire? Especially on a lease and knowing that my car was running perfectly fine until they did this update. Kim is wrong and she knows it. I also like to add every good review you see is only because Scott's Volkswagen only gives you one free oil change if you show them that you gave them a good review. It's pretty much a bribe. Any other dealership if you have a lease you get your oil changed done for free while you have the lease. Not at Scott Volkswagen! People stay away from this dealership. Don't go through the nightmare that I went through.

AWESOME EXPERIENCE. CHOOSE SCOTT VW!!!!

I bought a 2022 Taos and I’m absolutely in love with it. This is my first SUV and I’m so happy I made the switch from my Jetta. The salesperson, Chris, was absolutely a delight to work with. He was extremely helpful, professional and polite. I almost went to a different dealer and I’m so glad I didn’t. The General Manager was extremely helpful as well. There were several customers when I went to get my plates and I told them I didn’t mind waiting until they were done, but the GM actually came out and put my plates on for me.

The owner Kim threatened that she's was going to keep my car and not give it back to me. Why? Because I told her I'm going to never go there again and I'm going to change all my reviews online to bad reviews. Why did this happen. Because my car is a lease. They wanted to charge me 200 bucks for an oil change wire. I've been going to Scotts Volkswagen for over 10 years. My car is a lease and yet their gonna charge me 200 bucks for an oil change wire. Here's the best part. My car was running fine until they told me while I was getting an oil change that I needed to update my computer. I should never have agreed to this. They tried to tell me that a rodent ate my wire. I don't have rodent problems at my house. I'm an exceptionally clean person. It was insulting for their service team to say that and Kim the owner. The best part is I'm a certified pesticide applicator. I know how to prevent a house from having rodents and mice. Kim threaten me when I told her I was going to go change all my good reviews and make them bad. That's when she told me she's keeping my car and she hung up on my face. I went totally nuts. I had to call them back and threaten them that if I don't get my car back I'm calling the cops and I'll be there with the cops and you guys will end up all over the news. What a joke this place is. To treat a loyal customer like this, is totally horrible. The owner Kim would rather charge me $200 for something that wasn't even my fault. I also want to add. Don't pay any attention to all their good reviews. What they leave out is the only way you will get one free oil change is if you leave them a good review. 99% of other car dealerships when you lease a car you get oil changes done for free during the time of your lease. Not at Scotts Volkswagen! Stay away from this dealership!
