I've finally had enough with this dealership and am
I've finally had enough with this dealership and am forced to write a review. I bought a pre-owned Acura at another McGrath and have been going here for service. The positive is that I've had great service from Jeramy Perez, who has gone above and beyond for me when needed. I don't have a lot of positives to say after that. They've suggested the typical sort of "add ons" in repairs that were not needed to make a few dollars. They've failed to fill my wiper fluid during an oil change or change my dull wiper blades. They've given me roundabout conversations about my tire caps that won't come off because it's too cold and maybe force me into new tires. And they sent an inexperienced customer service rep to tell me absolutely nothing because he didn't understand it either. And when challenged by me, that CS rep then threw my service papers at me while I was in their waiting room and ran away. I didn't receive an apology or even a phone call when I complained to the dealership via email. This dealership will send out emails and phone calls telling you that they want to "buy" your car back from you, which is merely a tactic to get you in the door. They did not want my car; they wanted to low ball me and hoped I would fall for it. So I took my car there today and made it clear that I would not buy a car there, I am just going to sell it. I wanted to take my time and look around first before I decided. They gave me my appraisal obviously based on what they knew I owed on the car (even though my car is worth more) and then told me they were not negotiating since I'm not buying a car from them. I was livid because I completely wasted my time at a dealership that did not want my car at all. I was also handled in a way that showed me that they do not care about customer service nor keeping customers coming in long term. The fact is that I loved my Acura and I planned on buying one maybe a year from now. So I called and complained once I left the dealership because I was so livid about how I was treated. And then I received a phone call from the manager who sounded like he had to call me begrudgingly to get it over with. He man-splained his way through the call about his process and said my car wasn't worth enough to him. And by the way--that's fine, that's his prerogative and it's his bottom line ultimately. The good news is that I actually have a dealership that will buy my car for what it's worth. The bad news is that I won't set foot in this dealership again. I'm not sure if this is how they treat women or they just don't care about customer relationships.
