Internet contact/sales person was beyond fantastic.

Internet contact/sales person was beyond fantastic. That was, until a true Salesman got involved and the pressure techniques became a factor. We were entirely prepared to buy, but when the pressure began via email, we walked away. Most of the rest of our experience was excellent. There were, however, issues with communication between various locations about transferring a vehicle.

I had an excellent experience with Dover Chevrolet Auto! Kyle was great to work with, was very responsive, and went above and beyond with any questions or special requests I had! This is a no hassle, low pressure dealership and I would highly recommend to friends and family. Was happy to make a deal with them and would definitely consider working with Kyle again in the future.

Avoid

Sketchy experience trying to buy a certified pre owned vehicle at Dover Chevrolet. Vehicle (VIN: 1GCPTDE15H1316739) was listed as a CPO on the Chevy website and Carfax but had not actually been certified. Dover told me I had to agree to buy the vehicle before getting me my actual APR number on the loan. Dover also told me I had to sign for the vehicle before they would actually do the certification process and certify it. Hello: Chevy corporate? A few days later, I test drove the same model with CPO (certification complete before listing!) at another dealership and confirmed the Dover truck had an obvious problem with 4WD/front steering. Dover sales guy, finance guy, and sales manager all unprofessional, with poor communication and coordination, use of deceitful language, and high-pressure tactics to entrap customer. Avoid.
