Made appointment for "waiting service" for 7500 mile

Made appointment for "waiting service" for 7500 mile checkup and a recall. when I drop the car off, was told that the reacll would take 3-4 hours, so I declined and said I would make an appointment at another time. Picked up the car and it was already acting up (door handles not opening upon approach). The next morning the car would not start so I had to have it towed to dealership. Dealership told me that coincidentally the regular car battery died but it would take several days since they only have one EV tech. Replacing the regular battery took about five days (which PepBoys can do in ten minutes). When I picked up the car, the service assistant fetched the Mechanic and he told me a wireless module was malfinctuning and is on order with NO Eta. Soon after, the car started acting up again ( the brake lights stayed on all night) and I bought this to the service depaartments attention. I was belittled over text and my safety concerns werre not adressed ( online reasarch from QUALITY suggests a bad brake sensor). My car just died again, most likely due to the brake light issue. This is on top of all the promises that my sales person (Mike, who apparently got fired for borrowing cars of the lot) and the finance manager Anton made that the dealership did not deliver on.

Went in for a simple oil change.

Went in for a simple oil change. And left with a broken front bumper clamp. The mechanic then closed it on the clamp and now my hood is misaligned. They didn’t tell me they did this. They tried to adjust it by raising the hood leveler, but it was misaligned too much. So they decided to see if i wouldn’t notice.

Big Mike treated us very well, professional and friendly. He seemed to genuinely care about our needs, he listened to us. He made the buying smooth and easy, handling every aspect from sale and setup. We have bought vehicles from Dover Chevy since 2002. Same owners, same high quality customer service.
